I purchased these boots a few weeks ago. As I do with all my Frye leather, I treated them with Frye Leather Conditioning Cream. It somewhat reduced the distressed look & made them appear a lot blacker. I love these & get many compliments.

I have the same take as the first reviewer. These boots are amazingly comfortable and well-made, but I had hoped they'd look less vintage/worn than they appear online. The black leather is too dull and worn looking. I wish Frye would make a similar style in a more refined version. I like that the heel is just a smidge higher than flat. I'm sure someone will love this look, and you can be sure they're typical wonderful Frye quality. (Sizing was right on for me. I wear a 10 and these are a comfortable 10 fit.) Zipper was a bit hard to open and close, but I wouldn't worry about it.

I love these booties. Great quality: I have had a couple of other pairs of Frye's, and I really like this leather-even though it is antiqued it is still high quality and not too worn. My only complaint is the sizing is very different than the 3 other pairs I own: I wear an 8.5 in all the others, and the 8.5 in this model is a bit too small, especially the Right one, and my left foot is bigger. So I would say order your normal size, because I usually wear a 9 in other brands, and a 9 would have fit me better but I wore them outside before I figured out they were pinching a bit.

Normally I wear a size 9, after reading several of the reviews, I decided to order a 9.5, still way too tight in the vamp. Love the look of these boots, sorry to have to return them.

This is my third pair of Fryes. My other two pairs are 8s, my usual size, and I'll admit right now that my feet a just a smidge wider than normal width - not quite wide enough for wide width, but just wide enough to make shoe shopping difficult. These were much narrower than my other two pairs, so I returned them for an 8.5. They're a little roomy in the heel, but otherwise fit great. Good arch support and cushioning. Love their attitude. Once you go Frye, you'll never go back!

Bad fit - beautiful boot. This is way too loose around the ankle. I thought the buckled strap and zipper meant I could finally wear a Frye boot, but no. Mix that with too tight across wide part of toes, makes an uncomfortable, awkward fit, terrible for walking. I'm really disappointed, as I love the quality of materials, construction and look.

Very impressed with the feel & fit of these boots. They were exact to the description that Zappos advertised from the video. More comfortable than I thought they would be.

Amazing! I was nervous about the investment. It's an expensive shoe. But worth every penny. Extremely comfortable and makes every outfit stylish without trying too hard.

These run a bit small, so order accordingly. They are incredibly comfortable, and very edgy. I love the distressed leather, and the low shaft height and heel.

"The perfect boots" didn't fit! I ordered a size up so I can wear thick socks, and they're still too small - width mostly. Distressed leather was a bit too distressed - especially on the platform.

I love these boots. They are my get around running errands shoe...(in style of course). They pair nicely with skinny jeans. I gave it 4 stars on the overall because they were a bit difficult to get on my feet at first and I have narrow feet.

Love these boots, but I'm partial to Fryes. The fit is normal...I wear an 8 in shoes, and these are great. My Frye harness boots and clogs are 7 1/2 though. I followed the suggestion to wax the boots and like the result.

These are great boots, but beware of sizing. Order at least a half size larger than your usual size. That's with thin socks. The zippers could definitely be work more smoothly, especially for the price.

I usually wear a 9 sending them back for 1/2 size larger...was tight around the upper part of my toes.

I have two pairs of size 10 Frye's, and they both fit perfectly. The 10's in this style were so small they wouldn't fit on my foot. Having said that, they are beautifully constructed, versatile, and cool in a very understated way. The pair I got on Zappos are going back, but I just ordered a size 11 off the Frye website. Here's hoping they fit...

I can not say enough about how much I love these booties. These shoes look and feel lovely. During the day, as I wear them, I continually look at them, and say to myself, "I love these shoes." I feel as though I am walking on air. I wear a size 10 and they fit true to size. They are well made, a bit costly, but I will totally save money in the end, due to the quality and beauty of these shoes. They have a rustic look, that gives me the feeling of being both stylish and cool. I can not say enough about them. Believe it or not, I sent back the last few pairs of booties, in search of the way I feel about these. I will never send these back. I love them!

I love these boots! Very little break in time, super easy to get on & off, comfy, classic & timeless design. Did have to order half size up as they do seem to run a bit small (I have another pair of Frye's in my regular size that I finally had to have professionally stretched, so for me, lesson learned with this brand!) Love the broken-in look of the leather. Super happy with purchase!

Love these boots right out of the box. They felt snug when I first put on, but literally only ten minutes after walking around house I felt as if I owned them forever. I wear an 8 and have a slightly wider foot than a medium. I got these in an 8!

I love these. I normally wear a size 8/8½, and based on the reviews of them tending to be small, I ordered the 8½. The heels were slipping a bit too much, though the toe box fit well. I tried the 8 and they were slightly more snug in the toe, but should stretch with wear and the heel fits perfectly. I also want to add that the first pair I ordered differed in price by a considerable amount than the second pair, and though neither I nor the Customer Service gal could figure out why, she refunded the difference with no hassle and was peppy and sweet to boot. Great service!

Super cute boots and I love the distressed look like you've already been wearing them for a couple years. And they're really well made so should last forever. Pretty comfortable right out of the box even though my feet are really wider than the M width.

Love these booties! They're really well made, comfortable (I'm an 8-1/2 and they fit perfect) and I was happy mine were not as worn looking as the photo. Wish they had a little more arch support, but they are very comfy.

Love, love my new boots! I have several pairs of Frye booties and this is my favorite. I chose black in my regular size 8.5 and they look and feel awesome!
