These are a great option for those who want a ballet flat that is actually supportive and comfortable. I'm a great lover of 20 dollar ballet flats that tear up my feet, last for one summer, and look adorable. But with a lot of travel planned for this summer both going to conferences and also touring European cities, I needed something more comfortable and durable. These fit the bill and are super versatile (albeit basic) so I don't have to pack a lot of shoes. Only caveat is they run a little big (I had to exchange for a 1/2 size lower than usual) and on top of that they stretch out after the first wearing by about 1/4 size. All in all, due to their classic and non trendy style, durability, and comfort I surprisingly don't feel bad about spending 5 times as much money as I usually do on flats.

Because I have wider feet I am always on the lookout for flats that are comfortable yet stylish that don't squeeze. These may not be very flashy but they are cute, plain and oh so comfortable. I've walked all day in DC with them and had zero problems. You can wear with pants, jeans or a dress. I love these shoes and am buying another pair as my back-up for when mine give out.

Super comfy, but not a lot of support. I got the shiny blue ones, and they are very shiny. It took about a day of wearing them to break them in.

So far they seem very comfy, though I haven't worn them much. I did want to share a few things though. I wear between an 8 1/2 and a 9, and usually an 8/12 in a flat like this. In these I needed the 9. They may have stretched a bit to fit the length of my feet, but my big toes was rubbing badly on the inside of the 8 1/2 so I went up to the 9. The 9 fits great and my toe doesn't rub so much, and the shoe doesn't slip off. Right now it's a perfect fit - if they stretch much I might need to put an insole in them, but I may do that anyway. The inside is leather-like, so will get slippery when feet sweat and I hate that feeling! SUPER cute and will go with just about anything. I'm hoping these are as comfy to wear out and about as they are around my house right now. This is the second pair of Born flats I've bought (in the other I need an 8 1/2) - I've decided this is a brand I can stick with, and I struggle to find flats that don't give me blisters on my little toes.

I love these shoes! They have the style that is so popular now, but with a little actual arch support and cushioning (unlike most in this style). They pack and travel very well, taking up almost no space in a suitcase. I did end up switching from an 8 to an 8.5, because the 8s were just a little too cramped for my toes, even without socks. The 8.5s are almost a little too large, but with the appropriate socks work well.

These shoes are so comfy and cute. The leather is soft and I could wear them out of the box, all day. The shoes also arrived quicker than I thought they would. I would recommend.

These flats are so cute although I haven't worn them yet as I'm still deciding if I really need another pair of flats. They are comfortable as I tried around the house so I probably will keep them.

So simple and elegant! Got them in plain old black. Nice cushioning at the toe. Finally a pair of flats I can wear.

Great flats! A real sole and real arch support. These are very comfy flats, much better than most. The green/teal color is very cute, too. A nice almost neutral that goes with everything spring or fall.

These are such cute and sophisticated looking flats...and the arch support is great for such a trim flat. That's the reason I love Born!

I was in love from the first try...perfect fit, and the Crown Collection arch is better than the regular Born flats. Got the Nero Snake, and I know we will be heading out soon. A flat you can actually wear, what a concept!

Very nice shoes. No rubbing or cutting in on the heel even when I wear with no socks. Generally I like a roomier toe box, but this was sufficient because the leather is soft enough. Not as much padding in the insole as I was hoping, although it does a good job. I walk a mile every day for work and my feet have never hurt from these shoes.

Love these flats! They are cute, true to size and comfortable right out of the box. And love Zappos great customer service!

I have problem feet (a Morton's neuroma in each foot) and have a difficult time finding shoes that will work for me. Zappos is wonderful to work with, which I greatly appreciate. This shoe is really cute and would be quite comfortable for most women. The shoe seems fairly true to size, but I seem to be between size 6 1/2 and and size 7 (I am hoping the size 7 will work for me.)

First shoe review ever, just had to write it! I was afraid I wouldn't like these because the Born shoes are always so heavy soled, but these are great! I ordered 10 pairs and these beat out all the rest. They really do have an arch support and are the most comfortable flats I've ever put on. These are still a bit pricey for flats, but more worth the money than any others that I tried.

This is an amazing flat. Comfortable and ready to wear the day you take it out of the box. I liked it so much, I bought it in 2 additional colors!

I am a heels-every-day woman, but I needed a good pair of fashionable flats for a 10 day trip to Europe and I couldn't have made a better choice. My feet never hurt or blistered, and even my bad knees did fine in these shoes. They even held up on the 1km run in the Paris rain! From now on, Born has my loyalty.

Cute and comfy. Thes flats have more support than you would expect, and the supple leather conforms nicely to the foot. Simple and stylish: I love these shoes!

These shoes look great. I wasn't sure about the two part sole, but that ended up being my favorite part; some other flats feel so stiff. They took a little longer than usual to break in, but that might have just been my foot.

Love, love, love these shoes. I walk a lot at work so I need cute comfortable shoes. These fit the bill. I got the pewter color which are great. They are a goldish silver, so they can pass for either color. They've got plenty of your standard Born cushioning so super squishy. They do run a half a size small so estimate up.

Super comfy, supercute. The first weekend I wore them. I did a lot of walking (I had to put bandages on my pinky toes and heels), after the initial break-in period, however, they felt great. They're a little pricier than what I what usually spend, but totally worth the money. I've been getting non-stop compliments on them.

After reading all the raving reviews of these shoes I decided to order a pair to see what was so great about them. Well, the reviews proved true! These shoes are extremely comfortable and a great basic flat. However, I also ordered a pair of flats by Dr. Scholl's and found them to be just as comfortable. These shoes are very expensive, and in the end I just couldn't justify spending $130 on a pair of basic flats. Great shoe, just with they were a bit more affordably priced!

I love this shoe. Only problem is in one spot where the seam is on the right shoe by little toe it rubs. Only on right foot though. I wear them all the time and want another pair just like them but you are out of my size in the color I want. Should have ordered two to start with! Would love to see it in all pewter for next summer.

Very cute! I got gold, and they are very pretty and sparkle in the light. The feel comfortable for a flat. I usually wear an 8 1/2, but that size was super tight, so I went with a 9. The front sits a bit low, so they feel slightly snug over the tops of my toes (even at a half size bigger), but the leather is very soft, so I think they stretch a bit as they wear in. I have super narrow feet, and these fit me well in this respect, I would say they run narrow. Overall very stylish and good quality.
