Bulky and lacking good support. Did not like these at all.

I like the boot. Very toasty warm. I am a 8.5 or 9. I got the 9 based on the reviews that it was big or true to fit - and kept them. But I might have gone with a 9.5 to wear big bulky socks. The boots are plenty warm - so I don't need them... but I like the option.

Great boot, comfy and nice support! I highly recommend these. I'm a true size 6.5 and the 6.5 fit perfectly. Got the blue-gray color which is even more flattering in person.

These boots are more blue than the gray in the picture and they're narrow in the toe box. If your feet are on the narrow side, they might be fine. I have bunions and my feet are wide at the toes, and the boots are uncomfortably narrow, even with thin socks. I'm sending these back.

I purchased the Patagonia Lugana in February 2010 and I am happy to say that it's held up so well and this is year 2! They are absolutely adorable with skinny jeans, tights and leggings. I still receive compliments of how cute these boots are. I wear a size 6 and they are true to size and are perfect with thick wool socks. Love the laces so you can adjust them however you want to wear them, tightly around your calves to fit over skinny jeans, etc. 'Great grip and stable. They are warm and still look great! Keep carrying this Patagonia style. Thanks Zappos for great customer service!

It took awhile to find these boots, and I am satisfied with them. They are lightweight, but stable in most conditions, with the exception of solid ice. They are comfortable; haven't really been able to determine how warm they are as we haven't had much of a winter, despite the fact that it is mid-February! I would rather not have to lace up each time I wear them, but that's the trade-off for something that works. I have a very narrow heel and instep, so someone with a wider foot may have to size up.

These are really warm and waterproof. We recently got a big blizzard in Boston and I was out in these boots all day wearing regular socks and my feet were warm and dry.

I ordered these with four other pairs of boots and I have to say they were my least favorite pick...until they showed up at my door. These were the only boots that were true to size, hugely important to a size 11 girl because no one makes an 11.5. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box, I've been wearing them all day and my feet feel great. Had to walk through snow and ice today so these boots were put to the test and came out true winners. Great in the snow (we just got two feet) super warm and good traction even on the ice. Bonus? They also look really cute over skinny jeans, not too bulky, very stylish. No problem wearing these to the store or through giant snow mounds.

I just received these boots for my December trip to NYC. This review is about fit and comfort not warmth since I will rarely need a boot like this in Miami. I purchased Chaco, Belyn, Merrell, and Kamiks in two styles. The Chaco had too much arch support and hurt my foot. The Merrell was way too loose on my slender calves and since that particular style was low snow/rain would get in. Plus, they felt to bulky. The Kamiks were okay except one style had way too much room in the toe box and the other was not comfortable just walking around my house. I could feel the ball of my foot within 5 minutes. I purchased the Patagonia's in two sizes. My normal 7.5 and a size 8. With a midweight wool sock I needed to go with the 8. Compared to the other boots (I tried on one of each style on each foot for comparison), the Patagonia's had the best sole for walking...at least around my house. I almost felt like I was rocking forward. The laces are a big bonus as I need to have them fairly tight due to my calves and narrow heels. That helped a lot and I don't have any slippage issues which is always a problem for me. The leather is pigskin and new out of the box is pretty stiff. I plan on breaking these in over the course of a month or so. Funny thing about the warmth, is that even with heavier weight wool socks my feet never sweated, however I felt myself getter warmer and warmer in my core area to the point of sweating in my 75 degree house. I guess that's a good thing since I'll be able to take a layer off but not the boots. I hope they keep me warm because I'm a wimp about the cold. They are well insulated in a thick, dense sponge-like material. It doesn't feel as bulky as fleece.

I wear an 11 and these fit perfectly. They are stiff, though, which would be my only complaint. VERY warm and very well made boots.

I am a 7 M and my first pair were tight! wow was I surprised- such a hassle shipping back and exchange. Zappos so nice about it...OK I order one size up and wear thick sox- deeply padded in the shaft- almost claustrophobic fit with all the interior padding- footbed, toe box, shaft but perfect match to a winter jacket and don't like the ivory faux fur- had it colored grey at the boot repair store in Anchorage AK- THESE BOOTS CAN TAKE A BEATING- oh yes - winter sea spray while on a ferry; ice storms, spring rain and wintery mud slog- dry up perfect, brush them off- like new. Like the thought of soft pillows pressing in on all sides of your foot and calves while you are in blizzard conditions? buy these.

I'm disappointed in this boot. It is heavier than I would like, but the big thing is it isn't warm. The calf part is cozy but the sole-when you're standing on cold snow or pavement- doesn't keep your foot warm. But Zappos Rocks!
