Way too wide on my average-width foot! I was so disappointed. The arch support and overall comfort of the show felt awesome. But -- wow -- you could actually see a gap surrounding my entire foot inside the shoe. I had to return it. Even my husband could tell they were way too wide.

I must reorder these great shoes in Dansko's size 41 for my usual size 10 feet just as I have when ordering Dansko clogs in the past. These are well made and I like the look very much. They are a tad clunky -- as are most clogs. I'll wear these to work where 8 hours of comfort trumps uber-chic. Good arch support.

I really like this shoe. It is so comfortable to walk in because the differential between the platform and the heel makes it only a 1-1/2" rise. I have had surgery on both of my feet and cannot wear high heels. This gives me some height and style without the foot problems. I have walked all over the city in these shoes and have not had a problem at all. Looks good with a skirt or slacks. I have found my preferred shoe manufacturer!

This shoe is very nice, true to its photo and description. It's too wide in the heel for me. The "step" of this shoe is like a rocking horse: it's strong and unyielding, with an upturned toe, giving it a hard, rocking step. It's a pretty shoe that makes your foot look smaller than it is. Unfortunately I have to return mine as the heel is too wide and the back of my foot slips out.

If you're familiar with Dansko, you'll understand the fit. They're a bit higher than the clogs, and are bit snugger due to the styling, but otherwise fit. (I took same size for both.) These are a bit heavier than the clogs, and I had to wear them for short times to get used to them. (After a summer of flat sandals, that is.) I'm getting used to the "clompiness", and I love the look. They're beautifully made, which is why I'm determined to break them in. They live up to the Dansko reputation. I purchased brown even though I needed black- wish the black had the brown wooden heel. They looked a little too chunky all in one color. The brown leather is really a great color.

I like the look of the platform pumps from Dansko and I own a pair similar to these (but not the mary jane). My one complaint is the clomp clomp clomp sound you make when you walk down the hall at work. I prefer a bit more stealth in my shoe.

If you like the "true" comfort that Dansko shoes provide, then these are not the shoe for you. I found these shoes very stiff and comfortable to wear for all day. I have to be on my feet for 8 hours walking around. The stiff leather is not forgiving, the hard sole is not supportive for all day standing. Overall the shoe fits like a stiff wooden clog.

I was so disappointed when I had to send this pair back. They are very cute and stylish on the feet - kind of a 1940's retro look. Unfortunately, the top of the toe box cut into my foot just enough so they were not completely comfortable. I have high arches, and have this problem with lots of shoes. My only other complaint would be the weight - these shoes were heavy, and very noisy on tile.

Pretty awesome! Starts to pinch my toes after a couple hours of standing though. Easy to walk in. They look great!

I love how these shoes look. Even though they are heels, I didn't feel like I was teetering around on stilts when I had them on. I have other Danskos in 38 and 39; I typically wear 8.5 and got the 38 in these. They were way too big...I'm talking, 1/4 inch of extra space between my heel and the back of the shoe. I would've traded for a smaller size, but the shoes are heavier than I expected and very loud. I felt like I was clomping around in horse shoes. Also, I was hoping for a somewhat flexible sole, but these are pretty solid. I'm sending them back.

I really like the look of these shoes, and I've gotten compliments on them. But, honestly, they're not very comfortable. They're better than the average high heel, in that they spread my weight across all my toes, rather than concentrating it on the big one. And the toe box is nice and roomy. But they don't support my arches well and my feet are achy when I take them off. Maybe they'd be better for someone who doesn't stand on hard surfaces all day.

I'm sad to return these and they're too darn cute! I normally wear a size 6/6.5 and the 37 is just too large by a half-size. I just can't keep a shoe that slips, and socks would ruin the style. I also have high arches, so while I liked the support from the underside of the shoe bed, the top of the foot area rubbed on my toes and were going to need some breaking-in or stretching. I didn't want to return them and go for a 36 for this reason - the rubbing. For the price, I decided to return them and find something that fits well right out of the box. I've had good Dansko shoes in the past - will buy some again some day. Otherwise, these are adorable and would have been a good addition to my closet!

I really wanted to love these shoes. They're beautiful, and I am sure they would have been comfortable if I'd found a size that fits. I wear a 10 in American sizing and usually wear a 41 in Dansko (I own three pairs of Dansko sandals). When the 41 arrived, it was quite obviously not going to work. My heel came completely out of the shoe when I walked. I returned them for a 40, but my heel still came completely out of the shoe when I walked and my toes were a bit pinched. These just weren't a good fit for me, but they're beautiful and well made, and I hope that you have better luck with them than I did.

These are absolutely super cute, and "comfortable" in that they were reasonably supportive and didn't pinch my toes, but they were so heavy and clunky. I felt like I had horse hooves strapped to my feet. I ended up returning my pair and finding a pair of heels from another brand with similar support and toe room but flexible construction and a light feel (and a cheaper price).

Super cute... so wanted to keep them! They are SO heavy and CLUNKY that I sound like an elephant when walking. So stiff I walk unnaturally... will keep looking for a different brand.

I bought this in a 40 (women's 9.5-10) in black. I normally wear an 8.5 WW, so I sized up to a 40 in the hopes they would be wide enough for my super wide feet. They were not. Other problems I had with the shoe are the finishing, weight, and lack of flexibility. You can just see in the photos that there are exposed staples attaching the leather to the sole, with paint on them that will wear off. Mine were already partly worn when they arrived, and on a black shoe that's not what I was looking for. The diagonal plastic boning across the toe box also protrudes from the ends in a couple of spots -- surprisingly poor workmanship on something that should be completely concealed. Also to me they felt pretty heavy and clunky. If you are used to wearing heavy, stiff clogs, that might be fine, but if you like your shoes to be flexible and let your feet be feet, this is not the shoe for you. Disappointing since they're so gorgeous.

I was sad that these did not work for my feet because they are cute and well made. The toe box was just too narrow and a little bit too short in proportion to the length of the shoes for me. The color is a really nice shade of rich brown. They looked great on my feet, but were not comfortable at all. I usually wear a 38 in Danskos, but this is the second pair that I have gotten in the last year that were too tight. Perhaps they have changed their sizing. A 39 would be way too big for me. It feels like they are narrower, but also the height of the upper is too short for someone with an arch. These might work if you have flat narrow feet.

I so wanted to love these shoes, but I cannot get past the pinky toe pinch! I tried both the 37 and 38. There is zero give in the leather, so no amount of breaking in is going to help the problem. I still love Zappos and will try again with another style.

Completely stiff and rigid -- I don't see these shoes EVER "breaking in" to be comfortable. I gave them five minutes, on carpet, and I think I already have blisters. Not giving up on Dansko, but three out of four pairs I ordered this week are going back. The fourth one, however, is comfortable, and cute, and fun -- worth keeping Dansko on the list!

Hideously uncomfortable. If I wear these shoes for longer than half an hour, they mangle my feet.

I loved the way these shoes looked but they absolutely killed my toes. I am a 10 year + wearer of Dankso. These do not fit like any of the others I have owned. Far more narrow in the toe box. I sadly returned these.

Ack. They were so uncomfortable, kinda like cement shoes, I didn't want to try another size. I guess it's because I like shoes that are light and feel barely there.
