These shoes are really cute, but they run too small- at least a half-size. I am a U.S. size nine and always take a European 40, but these were more like an 8.5. If they had been properly sized, I think they would have been comfortable.

These are not the possibly mythical "comfortable heels" I hope I may someday find, but they are pretty close. They are certainly more comfortable than most heels, but I would not want to stand or walk in them all day. I do not feel the discomfort in the ball of my foot like I do with most heels, but I am glad to kick them off at the end of the day. The soles are fairly heavy and can sound clompy on some surfaces, like the wooden clogs they evolved from. I mostly kept them because my husband said they looked hot! I do really like the styling, tough without being too clunky.

This shoes are really cute, but unfortunately as I have noticed with a lot of Dansko shoes the sizing is off. According to the size chart a 42 is 11.5-12. I wear an 11 and a 42 is almost always too small in Danskos. It is also the largest size Dansko makes in most styles. I bought these in a 42 because I purchased the Dansko Ryder in a 42 and it actually fit. As other reviewers have noted the Reeny is tight in the toebox and I had the same problem. I am keeping the shoes and will take them to a cobbler to have them stretched because they are just a bit too tight. It's too bad this company's sizing is so inconsistent and I wish that they would make more shoes in larger sizes.

The Dansko Reeny shoes are absolutely adorable. Good arch support. In size 41 they are narrow in width and pinched the top of my foot, however. I want to exchange for the next size up, but it's not available at this time. Unfortunately will have to return.

I travel extensively for work and have to dress professionally. I love my Danskos. They are my go-to brand. In my Danskos "Stefanie" and "Bret", I sometimes think I could walk across the United States. Certainly, for those travel days when I'm walking 5-7 miles through airports, my Danskos are wonderful. But, the "Reeny" is not the same. The "Reeny" is a higher heel - and is wood. It's just a harder surface under my feet. Due to the styling, I like them very much; I can wear them when doing limited walking. For example, they're okay for a normal day in the office. But I cannot wear them on a big walking day (such as when I'm traveling).

The leather is nice and cute style. But heavy and chunky. A little bigger than my normal size. Returning them.

I was disappointed... these shoes are HEAVY! Because of the steel frame they don't flex at all so they are super clunky too... I expected a lot because they are Dansko, but they did not deliver. Returning them.

I want to love this shoe, as I only wear Dansko's, but this shoe is too narrow for me. I love the style of the shoe and arch support. Also, the shoes are very heavy.

I'm so sad that I have to return these shoes. They are super cute, but just a tad too short so my toes were cramped and I knew I wouldn't be able to wear them for any period of time. The other thing is how clunky they were and felt more like wooden clogs than nice dress shoes.

I wear a half size like the other reviews it was too long. I could tell that if I went down a size my toes would be cramped. I also found them very heavy and clompy. Cute shoe but not for me.

These are cute as heck but when I finally cracked and bought them (after seeing them in person I ordered them online) and forget about it if you value you little toe and big toe. Though I'm a 35 in the professional I had to order the 36 as the smallest size and immediately they felt great, then I wore them around the house and wanted to die. I'm so bummed as these are gorgeous but not good for the toes at all. I e-mailed Dankso and they recommended a size up rather than wait for these to stretch so I'm returning them. I'm already a size up! It's so sad, they are so cool!

Really cute, but they hurt! If you're used to the regular Dansko clog design and soft sole, you will be surprised by this style. The sole is higher and does not give like a regular Dansko clog. Additionally, if you have wide feet, watch out for rubbing/blisters on the outside of the little toe/big toe joint. Not nearly as comfortable as the regular Dansko clog design.

Beautiful shoes! They are very sturdy, with a thicker heel; so I feel like I can practically run in them without risking a fall or ankle twist. I am on my feet all day long at work, and I typically wear the Dansko clog or Dansko dress shoe type of shoe, to save my feet, legs, and back. These shoes offer the same Dansko comfortable fit and look gorgeous!

I really like these shoes. It's a good combination of height, support, and style for work and an easy transition to casual.

Absolutely love this shoe. Adorable and comfortable right out of the box. I work in retail and rock these shoes all day long without my feet or legs hurting. Bought the black pair, gonna buy the brown too. The only down side is that they don't come in half sizes, so if you're in between it can get a bit tricky. They are a bit wide through the toe but that works for me and my wide feet.

As a hairdresser, I stand all thorough my workdays and find myself in constant search of the perfect, comfort and support shoe. Yet I do have a fashion image to uphold, too! This shoe satisfies those both of these needs! While my average width, 7.5 (38) foot sloshes around in the traditional style of Dansko, this "Reeny" style suits my foot to a "T", happily! Thank you for providing all this comfort in a shoe with a heel! Attractive enough that girl can actually feel confident to be seen in public with these! Well worth the money.

I am a heavy pronator, and these shoes are comfortable! They make my feet look better. They're bit heavy, that's ok. The only problem I have is they make a bit louder sound when the heel hits hard surface while walking.

This is my first pair of Danskos. I tried on some Dansko clogs in a retail store and the 38 fit, but in this shoe I need a 39 and the fit is just a little big. If there were a half size between 38 and 39 it would be perfect. That being said, I love the style and I can wear them all day and do quite a bit of walking in them and my feet are still in good shape. I've had many compliments on the style. I wear them with pants and skirts. I would definitely buy them again.

These are just darling on the feet. Unfortunately, they are so tight in the toe box, I can only wear them for an hour or two before the top of my foot hurts. They are quite comfortable for that first hour, then the tightness sets in. I plan to take them to a shoe cobbler to see if he can stretch the toe box so that my foot fits in it without killing the top of my foot. I do love the way they look on me--they look great with both a skirt and slacks.

So, the shoes are really cute and I like the "clog-ness" of them. I expect, if I can wear them in, they will be a favorite. But (big but), whoa do these suckers rub. The leather is so stiff. This isn't totally unexpected, given they are Dansko clogs. Still, I now have a couple of scabs on top of toes. The only reason I did not get more blisters and scabs was heavy use of moleskin. I went through a small box of it at a train station, in an attempt to prevent further damage to my feet while also having to make a job interview. I did wear these around the house for about 2 hours - going up and down stairs, wearing them standing while doing dishes - before making the decision to keep them/wearing them out of the house. It went okay. It was when I started walking much that the rubbing went into effect. Of note, both clogs fit, while still leaving room for my heel to lift up a bit (i.e. when squatting down to pick something up), as is recommended. One foot (my slightly bigger one) was way worse than the other. I can't return them now. If I could, I would. I hope that my local cobbler can stretch the front portion. Otherwise, it will be a waste of money.

Pretty shoe, I don't get what it's for though: for work? No, way too heavy. For going out? No, way too clunky/cloggy looking. I bought these for work. I am a pharmacist in a really big hospital. So, I have to look "professional" but I also have a lot of standing/walking to do during my long shifts. These shoes feel like 7 lb bricks with excellent arch support. They are way too heavy to be useful as a work-shoe. If I was going to wear something that would be uncomfortable after a while, I'd wear something much less clunky-looking. My Tsubos are just as comfy and much prettier, in my opinion.

I loved the look of these shoes when I found them online. Unfortunately they are a lot clunkier than I thought they would be once I saw them in person. They looked great with jeans but looked like lead weights when wearing them with a dress (which is what I needed).

Looking for a comfortable, versatile shoe to wear to work with tights/skirts and trousers. After reading the reviews decided to give this one a try. The style is exactly what I'm looking for but the fit, construction, and comfort level were not good for what I had in mind. I have a narrow to medium width foot, typically wear an 8.5 shoe and sometimes an 8 in a sandal. Occasional 9 in a boot. So I'm thinking the 39 should be perfect or slightly too big so I ordered a 39 and a 38. Surprised to find the 39 was too short! No sense in going up to a 40 because the heel was too loose on the 39 even with the ankle strap tightened snugly. The footbed looked soft but did not feel comfortable to me. Also, the leather was a little thick and stiff. Returning both pairs but really wish it would have worked out because I really like the style.

Heels that don't feel like heels! I love wearing these to work for the confidence the extra height gives me. The platform is disguised because the shoe has a real heel. Both black and brown are beautiful. The black has a black sole, while the sole of the brown shoe is lighter than the leather. The brown color is really a reddish brown, and does seem to mark/scuff easily. The black ones don't. I bought a size 38 in the brown and a size 39 in the black. The brown 38 seems an ideal fit, but the black 38 pinched my pinky toe. I decided to try the black in the bigger size because I liked them so much. The 39 was much better, a little looser and more clog-like than the brown 38s, but great with my thinner smart wool socks. These shoes are my favorites! My only problem now is that I don't have many pants that allow me to wear a three inch heel because I never could wear such high heels before I found these!
