I was looking for a pair of boots that would be stylish, but comfy and good for the rain and snow. These boots are great for everything! I can tuck my jeans in them or wear them with high socks and a skirt and they look adorable. I have worn them in the snow and rain, and they hold up very well and provide good traction. They took a couple of days to break in around the ankle, but once I had them stretched out they became the comfiest pair of boots I have ever bought. Worth the price, look cute, and hold up in the weather. Love them!

If you're looking for a boot to fit a 12 sized foot, the 11 will not be big enough (despite what the keens website says).

I call these 'Adventure Boots' because they have taken me dancing, rowing and a city walkabout all in one weekend. They are warm and complement many outfits. I love them. They are so comfy, I didn't want to take them off at bedtime the first time I tried them on. Also Zappos customer service is outstanding.

Love these boots! I bought them for a 3 week trip to Europe during January. They were perfect. They are super comfortable and only required one day of wearing them with 2 pairs of socks to break them in. They're totally resistant to bad weather. I wore them in rain and snow. Great traction on ice and not too heavy. I was able to wear them all day for a full day of walking. The zipper makes them super easy to get on and off (perfect for wearing at airports). And the lace up look makes gives them a nice sporty look as well as a custom fit, without hindering the ability to dress them up at night. Couldn't be happier.

Purchased these boots for a winter trip to Iceland. Perfect for walking around snowy streets...and even wore them horseback riding! No break-in needed. Super comfy from the get go! Look great over skinny jeans....but can accommodate regular jeans with some lacing adjustments. I also have a generous calf and these are great! A little slouchy around the ankle, but I wasn't expecting a super dressy or trim boot. These are versatile, casual, and they feel like they're hugging my legs! Nice looking leather and details. Definitely worth the price!

Laces to 'string'? No way - great zipper for that! Excellent arch - spiffy look. For those who want more 'femininity' - good luck with the comfort level. My priority is comfort for 10 hours, not beauty - never have that combo!

I absolutely loved these right out of the box! I am a mom of a one year old and so wanted something stylish that I could still run around in, these fit the bill perfectly. They are super comfortable and amazingly cute with skinny jeans and a sweater. I will be wearing these with everything!

Love them! Extremely comfortable from the first day I put them on... I wear them all day working in my pet store and they are flexible in fitting dogs with harnesses and coats and easy on my back and feet when standing all day... I also get lots of compliments on their style!

I was headed to Europe for a spur of the moment two week vacation. So, I needed boots that were already broken in, warm, comfortable as tennis shoes, and of course, stylish - because that is just not something you sacrifice. So after hours of indecision and a basic knowledge of Keen products (compared with Merrels), I bought these because they were the best looking of all of them, and the reviews were overall good. I wore them to the office a few times with skirts, home for Christmas and up a mountain stream with bootcut jeans, and left for Paris in them with pants. I wore them the entire trip with leggings, skirts, jeans, pants, all over the place, to include the Alps, and those laces were key because they let me layer socks or just go with tights. I have wide feet, high arches, and fat ankles. I wear a 9 in a heel and cowboy boots and was worried about getting an 8½ and concerned the heel was not low enough to be comfortable, but it was fine. A true fit, and then as they got used to my shape and I got the laces right.

Classic Keen! Comfortable right out of the box. Well made, kinda funky and very fun. I walked all day in them the day they came and there was no break in time. There is something funny about the lacing. It stretches so when you cinch them up tight they relax and bag. I will replace that soon and they will be perfect.

Love these boots, but felt they run l/2 size large. The only thing I'm not wild about is the rubber area on the toe area.

I love these boots. I love that they lace up so I can adjust them. I have wider calves and I have a hard time finding boots that fit with skinny jeans etc. These fit great. They are very tall, they come almost right up to the bottom of my knee and I am 5'7. I do wish they had more lining on the inside and were cushier. I am not sure if I am keeping them, I might return for the Keen Bern Baby Bern.

I've been looking for the perfect pair of black flat boots and these were it. They are stylish, comfortable and have kept my feet warm so far this winter (I live in Minnesota.) These boots are worth the price. I work in retail so I needed something I can wear all day that won't make my feet hurt. I have another pair of Keen boots and they are really comfortable and stylish as well.

Wow! This boot is comfortable right out of the box. I love that the laces can be adjusted. So, if I wear them with jeans, they can be adjusted looser, and with tights and a skirt they can be adjusted tighter. Fun look!

I shopped and shopped, even bought a pair of Timberlands and then canceled the order. I was looking for a boot that was flexible, water resistant, and mostly comfortable. I want a boot I could sprint in if I had to, that felt like I was wearing my slippers or running shoes. These are the boots! So happy I bought these. I've had them on all day with a thick pair of socks but haven't been outside yet to determine warmth. They are not lined which is fine with me because I'd rather control the warmth in my shoe or boot with socks. It's as if I'm wearing my favorite pair of Keens that happen to be boots. You control the tightness of the ankle and calf with the bootstrings. I normally wear a size 6.5 and ordered a size 6.5. Perfect fit with socks, a bit loose with no socks. Others complained about the seam rubbing on their ankle causing blisters and I was worried because of my thin bony ankles, but no problems at all. Either Keen heard your comments or my thick socks have cushioned the seams (and actually I had no rubbing without socks). Pros: Comfort, flexibility with movement, adjustable fit with ties, ease of getting off and on with zipper, beautiful leather, cute! Cons: They are supposed to be a Christmas present that I said I would save to go under the tree. My husband is going to have to chase me down to get these off of my feet.

I've been looking for a flat brown boot for years and finally found the perfect fit with these. I wear between an 8 1/2 to a 9 and found the 8 1/2 fit perfectly. I would (and have!) definitely recommend these to a friend.

This boot is VERY well put together, warm, and built for any terrain. I love the style and wish I could wear them every day. One bad thing is that the stitching on the outside heel area rested right on my ankle bone and I had to break them in with a blister before they were perfect.

I wanted a boot that was trendy but oh-so-comfortable. If you're going to spend the bucks, might as well have the perfect marriage of comfort and practicality, right? I need to be able to chase my sons outdoors but still be cute. I bought Keen sandals this summer, adore them, can't live without them, so naturally, I turned to Keen for a pair of boots. Keen had a great idea when they provided a custom fit with the lace-ups and the convenience of the zipper. But they fell short with the baggy, sloppy ankle in the Clara boot. It is unsupported and unattractive on my foot. The footbed, like other Keens, is extremely comfortable. The exterior of the foot part of the boot is too manly though. This boot could have been adorable if it had been a bit more feminine. These will be exchanged for the Keen Bern Baby Bern boot which gets rave reviews and seems to have a narrower, more feminine fit and look. I did love the idea of having a boot with an alternative look, and I will miss the Clara boots for that reason!

Really lightweight, very tall (a plus in my opinion) and they fit true to size if not a little large. I do have small ankles and narrow feet which could be a factor in them fitting a little large. However, with thick wool socks and re-cinching the laces tighter they feel great and look fantastic. These are my first Keen boots, and I can't wait to try them out once it snows.

I love this boot. It's rugged, edgy, stylish and functional. I had to size up from the 9 to 9.5 even though I am a true 9. The boot looks great. and i can wear this boot all day doing a lot of activity. Love it.

Gotta love Keen! I wear a D width and these fit like a charm, as Keen's run wide. Zappos is the best for hard to fit feet. I don't know what I'd do without your selection and impeccable service!

This is an amazingly comfortable boot - definitely the best ones I've ever owned. Every time I've worn them I get compliments on them. I love that they have both laces and a zipper. I have skinny calves, so being able to tighten the laces around my calves, then to be able to zip them off and on (instead of lacing them up every time) is so nice. I wear a size 9 pump, but in boots I go up to a 9.5 or even a 10 if the boot has a snug fit (I like to wear a nice soft sock and want room enough to not have my toes squished). I read the other reviews saying these run a little big, so took their advice and ordered 9.5, hoping that they would feel somewhere around a 10 and they fit perfectly! A nice snug fit but with some wriggle room.

Another review I read mentioned that these were uncomfortable in the ankle area so I was a bit reluctant to try them, but I love my other Keens so I decided to give them a chance anyway. I'm so glad I did! I love these boots. I got them last night and wore them out all day today. No break-in needed. As for the ankle problem, if you have them laced too tightly the leather may bend into your ankle; loosen the shoe strings and problem solved. I love the boots; they are totally comfortable and just plain cool looking. These are kickin' around town, fall festival/pumpkin patch pickin', going about in the snow, love 'em for a lifetime boots. I wear a 7.5 in almost every shoe except Keen. My other Keens are 8’s, and these boots at an 8 felt the same as my others.

I absolutely love these boots! From the moment I put them on they fit like a glove. I normally wear a 9, but did order an 8.5. Glad I did. They do run a bit big. I would definitely recommend the BRAND and the BOOTS!!!
