Keen's design of larger footbeds for the toes is lacking in this design completely. The shoe fits more like a regular hiking shoe and thus pinches and constricts my foot. I find it very uncomfortable, and for just a little more money wise will be returning this shoe for the Voyageur.

If you are a Keen's fan, you will love this shoe. I bought it as a winter-intermediate shoe, for those days when winter boots weren't quite called for, but I still needed some extra warmth and stability. I like the arch support and the hiking-meets-casual style. Good for a meander on the trail or doing your on-foot commute.

Great shoe! I have a narrow foot so sometimes Keens are far too wide in the toe box, but this shoe is perfect. I bought it for hiking but it's cuter than it looks online so I'll probably wear it on other casual outings as well.

Exactly what I wanted. They went on a vacation with me and were very comfortable...although, could have been a tinge wider.

I usually wear a 7.5 street shoe. A friend said Palisades run small and she was right. I ordered a size 8 and they fit perfectly with my wool hiking socks. The shoes are durable and so far have proven to be water resistant yet breathable.

I got these in a 7½ and an 8. I am usually a 7½. The 7½ felt a little snug across the toes and the outer sole seemed to curve up toward the top of the shoe a bit. This may have contributed to the narrowness. The 8 was a little long and the 7½ was too snug so they are going back. They would be the perfect shoes for slightly narrower feet or in a wide width. But I occasionally will take wide shoes, so my experience may not be typical. Tread, suppport, and warmth were good.

I love them. They run true to size for thin socks only. I have flat feet and use inserts and these shoes work well. I am happy to add a couple of inches to my height.

Looks can be deceiving. These shoes aren't waterproof. After reading the fine-print, I returned these shoes and bought the BROOKS GHOST GORE-TEX. You should too. This shoe is comfortable and attractive compared to shoes in a similar category, but I don't understand why anyone would buy a shoe that looks like this unless it's waterproof. Fortunately for you, I tried a bunch of shoes, and I can recommend you try the BROOKS GHOST GORE-TEX. The Brooks shoe feels like a sneaker, but gives you waterproof protection like a boot. Hooray.

I do not understand it, but these shoes kill my feet! I wear Keens all the time, and have never had a problem. I usually wear a 9, but I also bought a 9½ just to make sure. The 9 seem a little shorter than my other Keens. A manufacturing defect? I just know that they kill my feet.

I am familiar with Keen shoes. You can't go wrong with them for comfort and quality. This pair meets these requirements. Although I mentioned they were true to size, those who require a half size when none is listed should move up to the next whole size. Otherwise . . . Perfection. I also am impressed with Zappos' service. Both efficient and prompt.

My wife loves these, and I couldn't be happier with zappos.com as well. I originally had her normal size (7.5 US) shipped for Christmas, and she was a little doubtful that they would be comfortable in the long run. Too tight around the arch/sides, heel as well, but her toes had plenty of room. I figured as much as my Keens are the same in toe space. However, upon returning the 7.5's and getting 8's, she noticed a considerable difference! As my Keens are a tad oversized as well, we love them and would highly advise anyone looking for highly durable trail shoes to get some! Just get 'em a .5 size larger than you think your foot is.

I purchased these for a trip to Costa Rica which required a great deal of hiking and potentially a decent amount of rain. These shoes were incredibly comfortable and supportive for every activity. Back at home I wear them often. They get more and more comfortable as you continue to wear them. Highly recommend!

I loved these shoes. They are just as comfortable as sneakers for walking around town..but much more waterproof. I wore them for long days of site seeing before I even had a chance to break them in...and no blisters!

I love these shoes so far, they were comfortable right out of the box. Was out in the snow and feet even stayed warm. I usually wear a 6.5 but ordered a 7 based on other reviews and they fit perfect!

I love these shoes! I broke my foot over a year ago and have had the worst time finding shoes to wear...even tennis shoes hurt! In the summer time, I've been lucky to wear my Chaco sandals. I have returned so many shoes trying to find some true comfort for my feet. These were great straight out of the box on support and comfort! I wear a light to medium sock with these. They absorb a lot of shock while walking, which is great for me! I have a wider than average wide foot due to my injury, but these fit like a glove!

I found the keen, they have very good support to my feet, wear them all the time, including work, on my feet 9 hours a day in the hospital on cement floor!

Love these shoes! They offer wonderful foot support. I don't feel they are narrow. They are narrower than some other Keen shoes, but then I feel other models are too wide (like their water shoes). These fit me true to size. I'm a 7.5 and usually wear an 8 in running shoes. I got these in a 7.5 and they're perfect. No breaking in required. Love them!

Based on other reviews which noted that the shoes ran small I purchased half a size larger, however the shoes run true to size, I use heavy socks while wearing these shoes. They are well made and comfortable for walking my dogs in all sorts of weather.

These quickly became my favorite shoes. I bought them for work but now want to wear them all the time.

Great shoe. Lots of room in toe box. Is a little shorter, so order 1/2 size larger. Felt great first time I put them on. Wore them the entire day Would recommend highly!

I was looking for a shoe for the winter that was comfortable. I loved my summer keens and was hoping to find one that wasn't a sandle type. I tried a number of different styles and none of them were wide enough for my foot. I purchased this pair in a 1/2 size bigger than I nomally wear and it was perfect. Other people stated that the shoe wasn't wide enough but I found it to be perfectally comfortable and I have a wide foot.

My first pair of Keens. Initially, I felt they were a little narrow, but after wearing for a couple of weeks, they fit fine. Great for walking in mixed weather conditions. I wear for walking the dog. Have been water-resistant. Price was right, don't regret the purchase.

The 10 was too big for my 9.5-10 size feet. I decided to return rather than exchange for 9.5. They are a bit bulky. I ordered the Susanville in a 10 and am pretty happy with those for now.
