Most gorgeous boots EVER! I cannot say enough about these... expensive, but totally worth it, I'll wear them for years. Take the advice of other reviews, they run a 1/2 size small. They come covered in some kind of white residue, but it wipes off easily.

I was looking for another dependable pair of "walkable" Frye's to put on my Christmas list, came across these in a store and just had to try them on. They were like heaven on my feet. The insole has more cushion than any of my other Frye's (Melissa button, Billy tall, Harness 12R). I don't wear heels often but the height on these is very manageable. And the color is versatile too. Can easily go with Black or brown. High recommend these!

Love the boots. This was the first time I'd ordered from Zappos and I will most likely do it again. The boots are true to size for me and I can wear them all day comfortably.

Beautiful boots, but the finish is a bit more 'washed' than expected with a whitish finish that caused the dark brown not to be dark brown at all. Also, I normally wear a 9, sometimes an 8.5. I got an 8.5 and they were super comfortable. Size down a half size.

Love these boots. I had an old pair similar to this that my daughter banged up playing dress up and I've been looking for something excellent to replace them for about 2 years. Hello Miranda! These are beautiful. I got the tan pair and they are great with jeans/cords. Nice squishy insole so they are super comfortable to walk in, and the heel is not too high, especially with the interior hidden platform. This is my 3rd pair of Frye boots and they are not cheap but they are worth the money because they last forever! I got my true size (7.5) and they fit perfectly. Slight slippage in the heel, but that should go away once I've broken them in. For once I can't wait for cold weather so I can start wearing them!

These boots are amazing! They are beautiful, soft, sexy and edgy all the same time! The quality of this boot is fantastic and despite the thin outer sole the cushion inside makes them extremely comfortable! Two thumbs up!

These are so expensive but so worth it. Absolutely incredible. Just got mine today in the lovely tan color and I'm smitten. They are made of the most glorious, luxurious, soft leather, just the right wash of color and perfect fit. Tried them on barefoot and they felt like clouds on my feet. So comfortable. Heel is moderately high, but doesn't feel it at all due to the top-notch construction and support. I have a feeling this will be a dream to walk in all day. Glad someone else had mentioned that Fryes come with a powder on them, as these did, but it buffs right off and leaves the boots looking incredible. These come just under my calf muscle on me (I'm 5'8"). I have sizable calves, so that's a relief, as there's no issue with these. Slip right on. These are my first pair of Fryes, but they won't be my last. Incredible.

I ordered these boots in all three colors but sadly, the heel is too high for me despite the hidden platform inside. Back they go. But, as always, Zappos is amazing so this will be a hassle free return!

Let me first say that I love Frye boots. Love them. I was excited to order these sassy numbers to add to my growing collection. However, I'm sad to say I'm disappointed with this particular style. As soon as I opened the box, I knew there was something different about them: that characteristically great leather smell was not there, and the leather itself did not feel as rich. Lo and behold, they are made in China. Aha! They are nowhere near the same quality as the Frye Boots made in the USA. So, they are going back. Now I need to do some research and find out which styles are made in Arkansas. Those are the only boots I will buy from now on. On a positive note though, the style is super cute, just not up the classic Frye standards. Boo.

Got them in tan and they look awesome and love them! I followed the advice to buy a half size up but I think my regular size 8 would have been fine. Look great with a dress and under jeans.

Super comfortable, but being 5 feet tall, I felt they hit me at a weird spot on my leg. If they had been a little longer, or a little shorter, they would have been perfect! Unfortunately had to send them back, but they were really comfortable for the high heel, and loved the rubber soles!

Just got these today. I love them. I have wide calves and it's not a problem with Miranda. The color is very different from the picture. I got the cognac but they are kind of medium brown. I actually like it. I have 2 pairs of Frye shoes and love the heck out of them:) I am in between a 7 and a 7 1/2 but after reading the reviews ordered down, a 7. I did have a problem. The right boot fits very very tight on your foot. I normally have a problem with my left foot not the right one so this was a crazy surprise. Normally Frye boots come with a nice protective white foam all over (you have to buff it out) but these boots did not have that which makes me think someone else returned them before I got them. Oh well... I am keeping the boots and I am very satisfied. Worth the money.

As a veteran of over 20 Fryes I feel I'm qualified to talk about how absolutely awesome these are. I also own a similar Frye, the Harlow Multi Strap. The Miranda Slouch trumps the Harlows by far. My main concern whenever I buy a Frye (or any shoe for that matter) is the toe room. I actually float between an 8.5 and a 9. My ideal size would be 8 and 3/4...but they don't have this size on the market. These have toe room (most important) with enough left over to wiggle. The foot part of the shoe curves to the natural contours of your foot without being too squeezy. The heel is an excellent height, not too high to be uncomfortable for long stretches at a time, and not too short to feel like you're wearing your mother's boots. The leather, like the Miranda Back Zip (which I also own) is extremely soft and supple. I feel the term 'slouch' is a little misleading, as it implies the leather bunches and slouches down. It does not. The leather is thinnish, not as hard as the Jane Strappys (which I also own), but somehow feels more luxurious. The shaft of the boot on me (5'6.5") comes to rest at the bottom of my calf muscle. This makes my legs look slim and shapely (and long!). One of my favorite aspects of this boot is the fact that it has no zip. I hate zips on boots. In my professional opinion these are one of the very best calf length, high heeled, no-zip, most luxurious boots you'll find on today's market. Well done Frye for an excellent design.

Great boots! Much more comfortable than I would have expected given the height. A little more expensive than I like... but we'll see how long they last.

Love this boot! It looks terrific over skinny jeans but didn't quite suit my style of dresses so it's a pants only boot in my book. The height and shape of the heel was extremely comfortable and I could stand/walk in these boots for a long time without complaint.

Gorgeous! Great quality, great style, and so comfortable. I now own 3 pairs of Frye boots and I am not sure if I will be able to ever buy a different brand... so spoiled by Frye! Zappos spoils me too- free (and FAST) delivery-- best. service. ever. Could not be happier!!!

The leather on these boots is so much softer than most Frye boots; very pliable, no need to break them in. They do run a bit large in my opinion, I usually wear a 7.5 (Kors, Louboutin) and will often order boots a bit larger so that I can wear thicker socks and also to make them easier to get on and off (hate having a boot stuck on my foot!). I bought these in a size 7 and they're easy to slip on and off and are super comfy to walk in. I'll wear them as an alternative to a flat walking boot; just as comfortable and much cuter. The shorter shaft height also flatters shorter women much better than most Frye styles which all seem to be made to fit tall women only. I'm 5'4" tall, 110 pounds and cannot wear most Frye boots as they look like fishing waders with the shaft of the boot coming all the way up to my knee in a big wide gaping stump, ugh, not a good look. Love these boots so much I bought them in 2 colors, black and dark brown (which is a true chocolate brown, not reddish at all). The hardware is a dull aged looking brass no matter the color of the boot.

These boots are very stylish, and the cognac color is just gorgeous. The leather is soft and supple. I really love these boots, but unfortunately they are not the most comfortable for me, so by the end of the day my feet are really in pain. Therefore, I don't wear them nearly as much as I would like to. Otherwise, this would be a 5-star boot.

Love the looks of these boots. Bought some inserts because I have a narrow heel - they made all the difference!

I have always liked wearing Frye boots, however, the leather on this particular boot appears to be of lesser grade than what I am used to with Frye brand. I Also, I am returning since this boot is made in China.
