I suffered from plantar fascia two years ago caused from walking and running an hour plus a day in a pool. I typically wore Birkenstocks because at the time they felt comfortable. I have extremely high arches and the Birkenstocks seemed to give me the support I needed. It was December and I had shopped all day in my Birkis. At the end of the day, I limped into a local shoe store with hurting feet. The owner suggested I try Orthaheel Flip Flops in this area, it's warm year around and after examining my feet, he felt Orthaheel's support would be a benefit to me. I immediately felt relief. And now I have every color that is offered by Orthaheel in various styles. Thanks to Zappos, I shop on line and have my shoes in a day in spite of living cross country from Zappos location. If I visit family where it's cold, I wear toe sock so that I can wear my Ortheel Flip Flops without interruption. Except for dress, Orthaheels are my go to shoe. They offer support for my arch and padding for the rest of my foot. I love all the colors. The thong is comfortable with no irritation. And I feel rather stylish because of the way the shoe looks. Flip flops are in so I have the best of both worlds...style and support.

I recently purchased two pair of Orthaheel sandals. I have a heel spur and plantar fasciitis. These are the most supportive and comfortable flip-flop shoes I have ever had. They have great arch support.

It is so great to wear flip-flops again! This arch support is great and my plantar faciatis does not bother me! Zappos is great!

These are amazing! I never write reviews for anything, but felt compelled to write one for these flip flops because I love them so much! I have worn orthotics for 20 years (starting at 13 years old) and have major overpronation issues. I live at the beach and have always struggled to find flip flops that don't kill my feet. These are perfect! They feel just like I'm wearing my orthotics and I have no more foot pain. They seriously have changed my life!

After several attempts to find a supportive sandal, I finally ended up with these. I found other thong styles in this brand have a wide, stiff, uncomfortable strap between the toe. Because these are fabric instead of faux leather, the straps are far more comfortable. They are also lighter and more casual. Love them.

Love them, cute and really helped with my plantar fasciitis.

Finally, a "flip-flop" I can wear with my plantar fasciitis. I wore these around all day, with no foot pain. Already ordered a pair for my sister in law. Just wish they came in Widths.

These flip flops are perfect for me! I have a very high arch and usually wear orthotics in my shoes which is rarely possible with any sandals. The Orthaheel has a built in high arch support and they felt right from the moment I put them on. I could never wear flip flops before because they are so totally flat Finally found something just right for me! I also like the fact that they can be washed clean.

I love this flip flop. It is worth the price to find a flip flop that is comfortable for someone with plantar fasciitis. It is really cute, too.

These flip flops are amazing. I have never tried a shoe with better arch support than this. I have Plantar Fasciitis and this is the only relief I can find in a sandal.

I tried these shoes and I like how they molded to my foot, but the straps were so tight across the top of my foot that it was out of the question to wear them. If you're looking for a good supportive flip-flop and you have a flattish foot (!), this is the one for you. I ended up going with Montrail Healer Flip, which has a ludicrously wide footbed (it might be a unisex flip-flop) but feels terrific.

These are orthopedic shoes. They take a little getting used to, and hurt my feet the first couple days. They are also kind of heavy. The purple strap and faux cork looks cool but the cork is already (maybe 15 wears) rubbing off a little. Overall, cute and supportive.

Loved the style, color, and footbed but the strap rubbed my toes. I am ordering a pair of slides instead.

Cute shoe, fits great for wide feet, and is comfortable to walk in. One major problem is that after walking for 4+ hours in them the footbed started to peel after one wearing. I think as long as you're not walking around in them for long periods of time when it is hot outside it shouldn't be an issue. I am disappointed that the shoe is not heartier as since I've worn them already I can't return them.

The strap has rough edges, almost feel sharp. They really cut into my foot, and I had to quit wearing them. If not for that problem, I would really recommend them.

I absolutely loved these flip-flops! I wore out two pairs of the blue ones. I am so upset that they are no longer available! They were perfect with denim... and who does not wear denim? Please bring them back!

Awesome sandal. Takes a good week to get used to it and then it is wonderful.

Love the Orthaheel sandals. They keep my feet and legs from hurting and give such great arch support.

Better than my Birkenstock sandals. I have had 6 foot surgeries and needs lots of support in a shoe. These provide excellent support: great heel well and super arch support! I've worn them all summer.

These are awesome! Great arch support. I suffer from plantar fascia and gave up on beach sandals. These work. Comfy all day. In fact, my sister in law took these and I ordered more. Love Orthaheel.

I have a hard time with finding shoes that fit well, and these are amazing! My arch is supported well, and I can wear these all day without my feet hurting.

My second pair of these - they're great! After suffering from plantar fasciitis, I can no longer wear flat shoes without support. These have excellent arch support.

Was hoping that this style of the Orthaheel would not rub the top of my foot. I had ordered another style of Orthaheels and they rubbed the top of my foot as well. Maybe the high arch on the sole is too high for my foot. Boo-hoo! But you gotta love Zappos return policy, makes it the best and only place to order shoes online!
