Ordered 1/2 size up as previously suggested (usually wear 8 1/2, ordered a 9) and the fit was perfect. Compared with my spring step Dadra's, these are noticeably heavier on my feet (wore the Dadras the day after the Yggdrasil's and I could really tell the difference. They did give me a few areas of rubbing (mostly on the top of my feet) where the Dadras were perfectly comfortable with no rubs, so I did mark these down 1 star in comfort and overall. I also have a bunion on my left foot, and where the Dadras did not rub at all, these did put some pressure but I didn't end up having any real pain after wearing 2 days in a row. I really like the way these look (the ocean is a nice deep blue) and despite the minor issues with fit I like them overall.

I have a pair of these shoes in brown and one in black. Both are size 38 and fit perfectly. I bought a size 38 in blue and they are too small so I have to return them. However, it is a great shoe. I assume the blue color is cut differently. Too bad.

No break-in needed, comfortable shoe that works with skirts or pants. However, they are very heavy and therefore wouldn't work in a suitcase.

The shoes are great, but I should have believed some of the reviews. They do run small and I had to return the ones I ordered in my regular size for the next size up. They are very comfortable.

These are great shoes for travel. They can be worn with pants or skirts and look great with funky socks. I wore the. I walked 7 to 10 miles per day in them over city streets, dirt roads, and hiking trails. They are easy to remove for airport security and on the airplane, but can be put back on quickly. I have the blue ones and the color works well with brown, tan, and denim pants.

Friend at school had them on and I knew I had to have them. I'm a huge fan of "comfy" shows and usually wear Arcopedico ,Arche and Naot. I did have to go 1 size up. I normally wear 41 but had to order 42 after trying in my friend's size 41. The Mary Jane style definitely has a look I like. I wore them without socks from day one, had no problems. I have a rough time finding cute comfy shoes, these fit the bill. About to order a 2nd pair.

I normally wear a 10 or 10.5 US or 41 euro, so ordered these in 41. They were too small -- my toes hit the end. Nice shoes otherwise, so I'm reordering in 42.

I have purchased many of the el naturalista shoes, most being clogs. I purchased this closed back pair the size was fine but the inability to loosen the strap made it impossible for me to keep. This was also the first time I ordered a conservative deep brown they were beautiful to look at that is not to wear. Hippity hop back to zappos they go.

I returned the size 40 for a size 41 which feels a lot larger. Couldn't even get my foot into the size 40. The 41 is HUGE and an entirely different color. The color I chose was Lila which seemed kind of brownish on my computer. When I got it it was sorta lavender. The size 41 OTOH is brown - ish. I have three other pairs of this style, all in size 40. They are my favorites so I felt there was no risk on this one but I am weirdly disappointed and don't know what to do next.

I like the comfort of the shoe. The quality seems to be good except for the velcro closure. That is the worst part of this shoe. It keeps coming undone. I've had these shoes for several months and all of a sudden they don't they closed very well. It seems to need a buckle or something better than velcro.

So super cute! Really just my style and I think they would have been comfy had they fit. They seemed an entire size too small. I am sending them back and when the bigger size comes in, I am going to get it. As usual, Zappos is accommodating, helpful, and rocket fast.

El Naturalista shoes are so soft and comfy, but beware those with high arches cause some of the shoes are pretty tight on the top. They stretch a bit, but these ones have a serrated edge! Crazy I know. Had to send them back since in the first minute of wearing them they left a mark.

I loved these shoes... so cute!!! But so narrow! I have a pair of boots from this company that I bought a few years ago and I love them, but these shoes, the top of my foot was spilling out over the top part of the shoe; it looked like I was trying to stuff a sausage into a very tight casing. I tried the 39 and 40, I wear an 8.5 medium width normally, but both the 39 and 40 were ridiculously narrow. Which is such a shame cause I love them. I sent a letter to El Naturalista directly and ask if they come in wide, or if there was a reason why these were so narrow, they basically told me I had a fat foot and their width is the normal width for everyone else; which has turn me away from the brand. (Maybe these were rejects so I thought I would order from the company directly, but after their response, I was not going to bother.) I bought a pair of Taos instead and love them!

We should have believed the reviews, but seeing women's size 12 to 12.5 listed, we really wanted these cute shoes. They are closer to a size 10 narrow. Quite disappointing.
