I have had these shoes for several months. I run every day, crossfit classes, and lift. I have tried many running and trail shoes over the years - and to date - it has been the most durable/comfortable I have owned. I am an under-pronator. I run 4 to 10 daily (sometimes more).

If you are neutral to underpronator, then these are what you need. They have good cushioning in the heel. They don't seem to be too hot. These are the most comfortable NB I've worn so far.

I have been a recreational runner for years. I will run a couple of times a week off and on just to stay in better than poor shape. I have knee issues, and it I run too much, it really starts hurting. I have been running in Asics Gel Nimbus for years. Last summer, I decided to get some Saucony Minimalist Shoes. I really like them, and it seemed to be OK on my knees. I started running more, and I realized that my knees couldn't take more than 2 runs per week. During the 3rd run, my knee would start hurting, and I would have to stop otherwise it would be sore for a day or two. I decided to go with the MR890 as it was a transition show, so it gave me more support than the barefoot shoe, yet it wasn't as high in the heel as the Asics shoe. Plus, I hear everyone raving about New Balance. I bought these for myself for Christmas. I have been running 4 times per week for 4 weeks straight now. Going for 40 minutes at a time, and knock on wood, my knees are good to go! So far, I give these shoes 5 stars! Love them! Plus in the colorway that they are, I get many compliments! I've also heard that one guy at the gym is jealous! This shoe fits just like the Asics shoe that I've worn for years.

Little back drop: I am a neutral runner that mixes in some 3-4 mile barefoot runs for strength. I average 20-30 miles per week. I have been running on the same Asics (Nimbus 8) for 3.5 years. I hold on to shoes for a long time. I just bought these and went for a 7.5 mile run. Love at first stride. These are keepers.

To say that these shoes are eye-catching would be an understatement. Beyond their looks, they are still worth every penny. I can't speak highly enough about how comfy they are on my runs or to just walk around in.

I bought my first pair of 890 when they first came out. They are one of the best shoes I ever had. Lightweight and very comfortable.

I just bought my third pair of these MR890s. There is a newer model that just came out but for the price of the original 890 they cannot be beat. Zappos is absolutely awesome awesome awesome! I have been buying shoes and clothes from them for over ten years now and not once have I ever had a bad experience. My sales girl, Jennifer, who sold me my last pair is awesome too. Buy these shoes! You will love them.

I got these shoes for general wear, not running. They are very comfortable, they provide a lot of cushioning. They are also padded around the tongue, so the laces won't dig into the top of your foot. In the rainbow color they look amazing, even better than the picture.

I am a woman. That said, I love this shoe! I have wide feet, for a woman, so finding shoes is hard for me. Wide in women's is too wide, but normal shoes are too narrow. Men's shoes fit the bill. I went through six other pairs of shoes and this is the one that I am sticking with! I workout 5 to 6 days a week for aggressive weight loss and these are awesome. My feet don't get tired halfway through! They are breathable and have amazing amounts of cushion. I did have to add an insole for some arch support, but I am a heavy set person so I am careful with my arches. I love the colors. I get the most amazing compliments. I am a die hard New Balance fan and this shoe is one of the main reasons why!

I have 100+ pairs of shoes in my closet and purchased the multi colored one to go with a Stackhouse tie-dye track jacket and these not only look great with it but they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have and are light enough to make me even consider running in them and I am not even a runner.

I'm 6'4" and 190 pounds, 58 years old, run 20 to 25 miles/week at 6:00 to 8:30 minutes/mile pace. Great shoe. Provides cushioning but is flexible enough to let you control your foot strike. Most shoes for big guys are bricks, and a lot of neutral shoes have big heels, stiff midsole plates, or other mechanical devices to force your foot to act in a certain way. The shoes are holding up well. They don't provide the best traction on snow or muddy surfaces. I have a narrow foot and they are a little wide. Also, I wish the heel was a little lower.

Totally comfortable and downright snazzy. FYI, if you're getting the crazy orange ones, they run a 1/2 size smaller than the others (at least smaller than the 'rainbow' ones)... not sure why.

When I wear these shoes women smile at me all the time. I too am smiling b/c my feet feel great finally. They are the most comfortable footwear I have had in awhile.

Nice feel and well balanced. I weigh close to 245 lbs and these felt comfortable for my trip to Hawaii not to mention the multiple comments on how great they looked.

I gave my grandson(13y/o) the opportunity to choose his gift for Christmas and he chose this style. He loves it.

Stylish with maximum comfort. Very lightweight and definitely something I would purchase again. My first pair of New Balance shoes, and they definitely will not be my last!

I have been looking for a shoe for a few years now that I can purchase again and again as a future reliable shoe that I know feels great and holds up with my running. I think I found it in the MR890. It is unbelievably lightweight and is a perfect neutral running shoe for forefoot runners. Super comfortable on the first run out of the box. It has a surprising amount of cushion for the weight, probably more cushioning than previous heavier shoes I've owned. I'll definitely be purchasing this one again.

I saw these shoes on a girl in the mall and followed her to find out what they were. They are comfy, but so much fun to wear, and a great conversation starter. I was surprised to see them listed as men's, but I just did the shoe size conversion that Zappos offers, and the fit is perfect.

Feels great right out of the box. Plenty of heel support and cushion, a little thin up-front if you're not a heel-striker. Overall great shoe that makes running fun.

I bought the size 14EE and they are probably the lightest shoes that I've owned. I am a 20-25 miles a week Brooklyn jogger, and so far I have been very happy with the comfort level. I also use my own inserts which has worked out just fine.

These are the best Newbies that I have ever owned. They fit my insoles great, even with the new insoles the shoes are extremely light. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a running/casual/just for fun shoe.

I bought these as my primary running shoe and love them. I thought about the Minimus but would have to change my running style. These offer the light weight minimus feel in a regular shoe.
