These are my go-to sneakers for my 9 year old. They're cute and durable. I know that they're going to fit and he likes the way they look.

I like that these are slip-ons, but it took my son a while to get used to them (he likes his laces tight). Nice and think around the ankle--more comfy than regular converse.

These are cute, but the short laces drove my son crazy. I ended up buying longer/regular length black laces for him.

Bought 3 pairs of these for my sons to wear with their suits. They got so many compliments. A major plus is that they are slip ons. One thing to keep in mind--Converse tends to run a little big. Great shoes and as always, super fast shipping from Zappos.

This definitely runs large. For my 7-yo son, I usually go up 1-1.5 shoe sizes to allow for growth. His other shoes are a size 1.5 so I was thinking of getting size 3. Based on other reviews, I ordered the 2 and 2.5. The 2s seems to have enough growth room without being 'boats' on his feet. He likes having shoes with laces without having to tie them. But I did need to adjust the location of the knots. The way that they arrived, the laces dragged on the ground. I tried to put them into the last holes, but they constantly came out as he expanded to put on/take off. Cute shoes, too!

My daughter loves them, they run about a size too big. Thanks to Zappos easy returns we were able to get her the right size quick. Great customer service.

My son loved the look of these, he wears a 4.5 normally so I went with a size 4 as these tend to run large. Was a close to being tight on the toes and for his feet just not a good fit on the heel so on to the next shoe for now. I love Converse, will have him try again later when his feet grow a bit more.

More comfortable than the classic chucks. Easy to slip on and go.

I love these! I wanted some casual shoes I could pull on without having to lace them up. I wear a size 5 1/2 or 6 in women's, and the kids' size 3 fits well. Maybe even a little big, but that's good because I can wear them with and without socks.

I purchased these as a gift for my granddaughter. She loves them! They are very cushy and comfortable.

Great shoes! always buy one full size smaller. Converse consistently run one size big from kids to adults. Classics you can never go wrong with. I like the all black because on the ones w white they get dirty so fast. These look new for a long time

Comfortable and classically cool. These shoes are durable....daughter out grew them, and I was able to get a second use out of them with my son.

These Chucks are great! I love that i can just slip them on and go without being bothered by laces. They are very comfortable to walk about in and they felt true to size.

I bought these for my 4 1/2 year old to have something nice-ish to wear to dinners and things that I didn't want him to just wear his tennis shoes to. They look good with jeans and a nice shirt and keep his feet dry if it's wet outside. They aren't as easy to put on as his tennis shoes, I even have a bit of a tough time getting them on him and he says one of the heels hurts at first but I think after a little breaking in they will go on easier and fit more comfortably.
