This may have been my worst shoe purchase in my history of buying adorable, uncomfortable shoes. I am not certain if I had defective seams, or if these shoes are truly terrible, but I am returning them. The ankle strap circumference is inadequate. I am a petite person and it was digging into my leg. The toe opening suffers from a similar fault. But the worst part? I wore these twice for less than four hours and they ripped the skin off my feet in multiple places. The straps do not stretch and give, so if you live somewhere warm, basically anywhere you would wear these shoes, when your feet swell up slightly in the heat, they become very uncomfortable indeed. I can feel the rough seams when I rub my finger along them. That should have been an indicator that these were a no-go. No one else seems to have this problem, so it is either me or the shoes. I am going with the shoes. If you are looking for feminine shoes as a slightly dressed up alternative to flip flops, these probably are not what you are looking for. The sole is very wide and bulky, so they are not exactly sleek.

Really wanted to like this! Walked around my apartment. Flop, flop, flop. Why is there no connecting piece to the back?! If it had this I would keep it, too annoying.

These shoes are super cute. They are indeed flip-flops with an ankle strap, but the flip and the flop do not bother me at all. They took about a week for my feet muscles to get used to them (it works different muscles than normal shoes for some reason), but after that, they are easily my favorite go-to shoe. I wear them almost every day. The only thing that seems to irritate me about them is the strings that develop after a month or two of daily wear. The leather straps seem to shed strings that you can grab and pull. I am constantly burning or cutting off strings every few days. So far it has not affected the wearability or function of the shoe but it makes me wonder if Chaco skimped on the quality this time around. However, they are so darn cute and truly unique, I just cannot give them a poor rating!

Awesome! These are the most comfortable and good looking shoes I've owned. I was a hardcore Teva & Birkenstock woman for years, but I've found my newest best friend in Chaco's. I was leery with the flip factor of this style but turns out they are perfect for what I do. My summers consist of a lot of music festivals & that means lots of walking on uneven ground. These sandals just do the job perfect as well as looking fabulous.

I love these. I was pleasantly surprised about how well these fit. They hug the foot without hurting it, and look super cute all day long. I wore these for two days straight while working on a photoshoot where I was running around like crazy, and, at the end of the day, I had no bruises or blisters on my feet.

I was looking for a sandal that was a little cuter/dressier than the traditional Chaco sandals, but still had good comfort & support. These fit the bill perfectly. It is on the casual side, but still looks good with summer slacks & skirts. It has much better support than a traditional flip-flop, though not as supportive as the standard Chaco sandals. My foot runs narrow, & the medium width fit fine. It required no "breaking-in" & I find myself putting them on most days so far. Glad I purchased them! As usual, Zappos shipping speed was the best!

Love 'em, Love 'em, love 'em! My first pair of Chacos and I'm a convert. This is a very well constructed sandal. I have tried numerous sport sandal brands and styles and never been as happy as I am with these shoes! Break in time was about 4 hours, true to size, and classy looking!

Great shoe, looks stylish yet provides great arch support. Make sure you read the instructions inside the box on loosening and tightening to ensure a proper fit.

Love these Chacos. Run a little smaller than normal Chacos, which is perfect for me because I'm in between sizes. Great shoes from the best online store ever!

These are really pretty shoes (when compared to bulky river/hiking versions) and I get lots of compliments on them when wearing them around. I found them comfortable even though they are looser than I would like and my toes tend to slide to the front a bit. Only the ankle strap is adjustable. If you are looking for a pretty, comfortable sandal for dressier wear while shopping or taking a leisurely stroll, these are great. If you are expecting them to perform the same as their sturdy outdoor counterparts, you will be disappointed.

The footbed is super comfy (as usual for Chacos). The ankle strap is fine, but the straps around the feet are quite snug on my feet. They're too adorable to pass up, though, so I'm going to keep them and wear them until the leather stretches a bit! I guess I'd rather have flip flops like this a little snug so they stay on, right?

I am a lover of Chaco flip flops and they must be leather. I was looking for a cuter version of a flip flop, so I thought I'd try these. They're great. I buy Chaco's for the arch support. Regular flips seem to have more, but these are pretty good. Keep in mind these are a flip flop with an ankle strap. I do love them, though and wear them a few days per week.

These sandals are so cute and look so cute on. But I did not think about the fact that they are not attached at the heel. So they are basically flip flops. The shoe, however, is much heavier than a flip flop. So when you walk, they really flop down hard. It was just not what I was looking for. However, if you are fully aware that they are more like flip flops, you should be quite happy with the cute style.

I really wanted to love this shoe, but I just can't. You are basically wearing a flip-flop with an ankle strap. I keep feeling like the shoe is going to go flying off when I take a step; as a consequence I find my toes "gripping" the sandal and this in turn leads to foot pain. I have worn them a few times, hoping to find a groove. They are such a good looking shoe, but I just can't recommend if you are going to be walking a lot...okay, even walking a little.

Cute, but ankle strap needs to be anchored. It feels flimsy.

I was so excited to get this sandal -- and so disappointed when it didn't fit! I've been wearing Chaco shoes of all types for years, so it never occurred to me that fit would be the problem. My toes simply did not fit under the straps, and the ankle strap only just fit around my ankle. My feet are wide, but not enough to buy wide shoes. If you have a wide toe area, a high instep, or a large ankle, these adorable sandals may not fit you, even if you can wear other Chaco sandals in the same size. These are on their way back to Zappos.

I had always heard great things about Chacos, and was so excited to get my first pair. The second I put them on I knew something was wrong. The shoe on my right foot would not stay on, as I walked my foot slid off the back. I measured the straps that go across the foot, on the side that fit they measured 6.5" long, and on the side that fell off they measured 1/2" longer, which was just enough to make them fall off. I'll probably try another pair of these, to see if it was a onetime mistake, or if it was a batch mistake.

I've been a Chaco fan for fifteen years, but I've always stuck to the clunkier but oh-so-comfy sandals. I was excited to see something new that is stylish and a bit more feminine, but carried the Chaco name. I debated over these and some cute Merrells, but decided to stay faithful to my trusted brand. I like the look of this sandal, though the fit is a little small. Unlike their other sandals, they don't offer Wide sizes, so it's a little tight on the sides. Additionally, my foot must be pretty long, because the toe-ankle strap is just a smidge too short. It's still wearable, though I don't think I'd trust these like I trust my regular Chacos for long walks and hikes. The other thing I worry about it the button - it seems like it would fall off from enough use, then rendering the whole shoe useless. We'll see how they hold up.

Nope. Right too tight. Left too loose. My right foot seemed to fall off the inner edge (I do over-pronate), and my heel was right on the edge. Not comfortable at all.

This is my fourth pair of Chacos, and I love that they are a bit more dressy than the usual Chacos. Yes, they flip when you walk, and no, they aren't made to hike in, but for standing and strolling (like I do in my classroom when teaching) they offer good support and adorable looks. I wore them a whole day my first wearing and they felt great. My feet and legs have been aching after a summer of wearing regular flip flops, and wearing these or any of my other Chacos eradicates the pain. I have flat-normal arches, average width feet, and these do run a tiny bit smaller than other Chacos.

I love these shoes. I am slightly wide in the front and love an open back shoe. I live in the deep south and like my feet to breathe. I found the ankle strap to be really comfortable and love the flip flop feel of the rest of the shoe. I wear this all day long with no rubbing. My feet are not tired or moist at the end of the day. With normal wear the straps loosen up a bit and it is still comfortable.

I really like these. The first time I wore them, I developed a tiny blister near the base of my big toe. But, after wearing them a little more and they have broken in and I am more then happy!

I bought these shoes in hopes of getting more support than I do from flip flops. I really like them because they are comfortable, supportive and, in my opinion, cute. They are great to wear with dresses, shorts or jeans. I can walk in them for a long time and not have any discomfort. My only complaint is that one of the buttons can be difficult to unfasten, but not enough of an issue to return. I recommend these as a stylish and supportive alternative to flip flops.
