I run every day and do a lot of mountain running. These are the most durable shoes I have had. Been using them for almost four years and this is my third pair. The Gore-Tex construction is ideal for wet and muddy conditions.

Loved these shoes in the beginning but after 2 months the base of a loop at the bottom of the tongue made them unwearable due to the pressure on the big toe.

This is the best outdoor shoe that I've ever had. I will be buying another pair in a different color. Extremely comfortable!

I love these shoes. Again, I ordered 5 different shoes from Zappos, walked around the house in all of them. These had the best fit around my feet, the lightest and had Gore-Tex which I realized is a must for the camping I do. Just finished my annual 4-day hiking/camping trip. The shoes were awesome. We hiked 30 miles over 4 days -- no blisters! And I usually get at least one on shorter distances. While others around me were tending their wounds I was just doing general preventive massaging to keep the blood flowing. Great shoes.

Great shoe with very comfortable fit for hiking and trail runs. A little on the heavier side, but North Face shoes always fit the same in regards to size and they can take a beating.

Just ordered my second pair of The North Face GTX. Very comfortable shoe. Over a year on my current pair and going strong.

Nice support. I use them mainly for day hiking on prepared trails. Runs true to size.

I love these shoes, I originally bought them for work shoes, but I ended up liking them so much I use them more for recreation. They are a bit bulky, in that they appear large, but I will probably buy another pair of them

I have extremely flat feet, and I was looking for shoes that were gore-tex waterproof and comfortable. These support my feet so well, I went trail running, and my feet didn't hurt at all. I haven't tested the water proofing, but you can tell because these shoes get kinda hot, but it's not that bad. These shoes are great, love them, buy them, enjoy the outdoors.

I bought these shoes to wear on the sidelines when coaching football in wet weather. They have kept my feet dry and I will buy another pair.

This is my second pair of North Face shoes that I have owned. These are just as good as the first pair and are extremely comfortable. I love them. I highly recommend these shoes.

I bought these for hiking the high Rockies in Colorado. These shoes are wonderful, great support, and cushioned sole. The Gore-Tex is perfect for the early morning hikes, and I even stepped in the river and still had dry socks! Plus, these shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. I wore them on an 8 mile hike, no blisters or weird rubbing on my feet.

Got these shoes to start trail running. They are a little on the heavy side, but feel great with lots of support. Needed the extra support for my first trail experience to avoid injury. Only have 30 miles on them and they feel great. Great looking shoe and great price from Zappos. Run happy.

These are good shoes for day hiking in the mountains. They work well on even rocky terrain, as well as official paths. I am very pleased with these shoes.

The shoe runs a little smaller than I expected but once I found the right size I was thrilled. I wear these shoes daily to work and clean them up to go out. Would recommend.

I have severe over pronation and posterior tibial tendon deficiency. These shoes provide enough support for me to walk. I like them a lot. They also provide great traction for hiking, My orthotics are easy to slip in and out.

this are really nice shoes, will keep your feet dry, great looking and support, only thing is they kind of hot, but i can't complain i was looking for waterproof shoes and this are perfect.

My husbands favorite shoes. He wears them every day. Even with his scrubs to work.

These shoes are really nice. They held true to fit, they are super sytlish, and they have good grip on the bottom for maximum stability on tricky terrain!

I found these shoes to be very comfortable and pretty stylish. I was pleasantly surprised when I received them. Would definitely recommend.

These shoes are great. Fit well and tough. But they have some extra lace loops that really don't figure into the lacing of the shoe. Actually, I cut them off with a razor knife. Other than that, I have no complaints and I would recommend these to anyone.

Looks good. Great quality. My complaint is the toebox seems to run a bit narrow. Just a bit less comfortable than I need to wear for long periods of time.

Buy these! Simple as that. I'm on my second pair and will continue to buy these as long as they continue to make them. They are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever bought hands down.

I really like these Northface Ultra 106 GTX XCRA shoes although the name is a bit awkward. As a full time traveler with very little cargo space I have to choose my equipment carefully. I wear these shoes everyday and I am on my feet and moving around most of the day. They provide a lot of support for my flat feet and can be easily laced up to snugly hold my narrow heel and be comfortably roomy for the rest of my foot. They vent well and keep the water out thanks to the breathable waterproof membrane. The soles are grippy in most conditions but I have found a couple of times they are slippy on smooth wet painted or oily surfaces. Probably every shoe would be slippy on those surfaces though. The soles do tend to pack up with mud or sand that won't clean off with just wiping on a door mat. Again true for any non-smooth soled shoe. The shoes hold up extremely well. I typically get about nine or ten months out of a pair of these shoes with daily wear. I would like the shoe even more if Northface would put a BOA on it but they have gone away from that system.
