Just love these! They look like they would cost twice as much. Based on the reviews of them running a bit large, I ordered a half size down as they did not have my actual size. I was delighted that they fit because I could not find them anywhere. They do have the smell mentioned in other reviews which I am willing to deal with because they look so fantastic. I am hoping it goes away at some point.

This is the first time I have ever written a review but felt I should speak up. These boots had the worst toxic chemical smell. Tried to wipe them down, then air them out and nothing worked. I was so upset I finally actually tossed them in the garbage and didn't even return them.

These booties are awesome! So comfortable! They run a bit big so be careful in ordering.

For fake leather (or man made materials) this shoe is great. Very comfortable, looks great and looks like leather. I'm buying the brown version too if they every get more in stock.

Ordered these yesterday and they arrived today. Thank you Zappos. I really like the style of these short boots. As mentioned they do run a tad big, but I will use a simple insole. One advantage of the slightly bigger size is that toes are not pushed into the narrow toe area. Odor mentioned is there but I had to get right to the shoe to notice it. Love the style and have had them on in my home office for a couple of hours, but I do walk up and down stairs. This is the first pair of faux leather shoes I have ever purchased -- the texture and matte finish make them look great really -- would not have guessed. Comfortable, but I have a pretty easy foot to fit with no issues. I wear a 6.

Just received mine and I should have heeded advice that they run large; 9-1/2's too big even with socks. I'm waiting for size 9's to come in so I can exchange. They look great, smell isn't that bad.

I love these shoes! They look great with jeans, and most of all are comfortable! I pretty much walked all day around the city in them and was fine, and for me that's a big deal. And I got tons of compliments! Zappos service is the best!

Wow, super cute and surprisingly comfortable! They do feel a bit narrow up at the toe, which is not surprising considering what a long, pointy toe they have! But they look awesome, especially with jeans. Nobody will know you're not wearing boots! Wish they were made of real leather but at least they were inexpensive, and I expect I'll get at least a year or two out of them.

Very cute boot, great price. However, I would gladly have paid more for a leather boot just for the comfort...these aren't as comfortable as my leather shoe booties, but they're okay if I just wear them for a few hours at a time.

They are extremely comfortable and look great with my jeans - I've received several compliments. They do, however, have a rubbery smell, and tend to run a bit large (although not quite a full half-size large). My only complaint is that they are heavier than I expected. Still, they work great for me and I wear them a lot!

These shoes do indeed have a very strong chemical smell, as someone else pointed out. I put Febreze-soaked paper towels in open Baggies inside the shoes, sprayed the inside of the box lid with Febreze, and closed it, refreshing the spray every day until the smell wasn't quite as horrendous. Then I removed the Baggies, put the box in the attic, and left it open for several weeks to air the shoes. It seems to have worked. And yes, the smell is that bad.

I'd never buy a faux leather shoe like this again! Once it scuffs -- there's no way of mending it and it looks horrible. With leather you can at least polish and buff out scratches but not so with these. Love the design but hate the material. Roper should use real leather and these would fly off the shelves!

I'm in love with these booties! They are super comfortable and go with so many outfits. I think I will actually get more wear out of these than I do my $300 cowgirl boots. Super! I would say they are a little loose in the heel area, but that actually works fine for my foot.

If you've read any of the other reviews, believe the part about the smell! It turned out to be moot point for me though as the heel is so wide on this show, that it fell off my foot with the first step.

The shoes arrived in a box covered with mold and mildew. I was afraid to touch the box, but managed to get the shoes out so I could at least try them on. They were a full size too big. Definitely sending back and will not order a replacement as the box was disgusting. I guess this means I also lose the $25 coupon I used on the order that I'm not keeping.

Order half size bigger.... should have stayed with size 9. Love the boot. I'm keeping them and wear thick ?

Thanks to reviews I read before purchasing, I got just what I needed. These shoes do run large, but I order the 10 because of my hammer toes. The extra room made them perfect for me and they are super comfortable. If you normally wear a 10 and your feet are normal, do order the 9.5. You will love. them.

I ordered these a half size down from my normal size & my feet were swimming in them. So I ordered another half size down & there seemed to be a big difference between the 6 & the 6.5. I will keep the 6 even though I wish there was more room in the toes. They are such a cute bootie. They do not look like fake leather. And mine had no smell whatsoever. I just hit the inside of the bootie in the toe area with a blow dryer & then stuffed with paper to stretch them a tad. Looking forward to cooler weather so I can wear them :)

Just wanted to add that there seems to be quite a difference between the 6.5 & the 6. My feet were swimming in the 6.5 so exchanged for the 6 & they are just a touch snug on my one foot. I did the blow-dryer trick & stuffed w/paper so I'm hoping they'll be fine. Don't want to go to the trouble of another exchange. Great boots though!

These booties are so cute & do not have that faux leather cheap look at all! They definitely run big. I ordered a half size down & returned for a full size down. They can't be beat for style, comfort & value. Plus, I ordered on a Monday & received them on a Wednesday with free shipping! I don't know any other company that does that. As far as the reviews about a bad smell, mine had no smell at all besides that 'new shoe' smell. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I was so sad these booties didn't fit. I ordered a half size smaller based on reviews, but needed a full size smaller & they didn't offer that size (6). I didn't notice any smell at all. They were so cute & looked like a good quality bootie. I definitely would have worn them alot if they had fit. Also, it was free shipping that arrived 2 days after ordering!

Oooooooh my God. Okay, are these a mens size? Because I first started off ordering my usual size, which is a size 8.5. That was waaaay too big. so then I ordered a 7.5 and a 8. STILL TOO BIG!!!?? Whaaaaaa?? okay....so Im ordering for a THIRD time only because this boot is SO cute, and I ordered a 6 and a 6.5. Thats gotta work (fingers crossed) I'm sure, but still?? Ladies, order DOWN like 2 sizes AT LEAST!!!! No joke! Thank God Zappos ALWAYS does prompt refunds otherwise I would be like forget it!! Thanks Zappos. Love you guys. But this sizing for the bottie is WAY, WAY OFF!!! And I wanted to wear these THIS Saturday. Crap......

I have NOOOO idea how these shoes can possibly too small!!!??? Really with some of te reviews? Mine were HUGE! Sooooo, I ordered two to be certain: one half size down and the other a whole size down! Cute shoe/bootie though!!

When they say they run big, I disagree. I do say the pointed toe does run an 1" or more longer than your foot and hence your foot might look bigger to you. But that space is void. Mine fit perfectly and the awkwardness of the longness did in fact give me a moment of hee bee gee bees because I wear a size 11. Also my foot is a tad bit wide, these did not feel uncomfortable to me width wise. Overall, the pointy toe bootie does make my foot look narrower and longer, which is appealing. And they are tremendously comfortable which is most important.
