Okie dokie. These shoes are A++. They smear like nobodies business and can edge pretty good. They can not stand on a super tiny edge but they are pretty good. I have mainly used them in the gym but i have been out to real rock once and they did great. The speed laces are great compared to my other shoes. My one complaint is that they stink. Very, very stinky. If the stink does not bother you then these shoes are even better.

My new favorite shoe, period. So precise, comfortable (they fit like a glove) and performance in any situations the rock comes up with...smearing, edging, heel hooking. They only impressed me. Definitely a must.

The Bandit is a freaking great shoe! First of all the heel cup fits my heel very well! On steep vertical terrain, where you need a good edging machine, these are my go to shoe! Size them up a bit and you have an amazing crack shoe.

I got these instead of the Muira's because the cost was getting to me and I had heard that these shoes were as good if not better. I have to say the rumors are true, these shoes are great, especially for face climbing. I am very satisfied.

Oh man, don't get me started. The Bandit by far is the most comfy lace up on the market. I found that there was nothing these bad boys can't do. They edge, smear, crack climb, steep climb, heal hook and take the trash out with minimal effort. They pretty much do it all and do it with authority. You want a comfy all around bad ass shoe, then the Bandit is your weapon of choice. The shoe has Evolv's synthetic liner, which makes the feel out of the box like putting beaver lined house slippers on. The upper is soft enough, that over time, the shoe just keeps getting more and more comfy. What a concept, right? The toe box is pretty much the same as their other A-Symetrical models. The speed lacing system makes a lazy boulderer like myself take notice. Fast is the adjective I would use for these kicks. Get a pair, get em now!

Ordered one full size smaller than actual foot size. Very tight so I sent the original ones back and exchanged for 1/2 size smaller than actual foot size. Would highly recommend this climbing shoe. As always Zappos customer service was phenomenal!

These are my first climbing shoe so take my comments with a grain of salt. Thick soles save the shoes from my noisy feet as a novice and there is a slight downturn in the shoe where my arches are. The high offset of the rubber make these great for bouldering. I purchased at my street shoe size (10.5 US) and my toes are slightly curved as they should be. Also, the heel cup was a bit loose when the shoes were new, but it seems my foot has settled in and there is no sliding or popping. These were not made for standing or walking so I only wear these while actively climbing. I'll take then off for belaying, etc. The unlined shoe and synthetic materials minimize odor and stretching, but you may wish to pick up some odor eaters or an equivalent. Overall, a great starter shoe and I'd purchase again. Just ensure they fit properly (which means uncomfortably when standing and toes should touch the top of the shoe)!

I demoed a few shoes yesterday at my gym. I have a fairly wide foot and usually wear a US men's 10 in a street shoe, 10.5 in the 5.10 Anasazis, and 11.5 in the Evolv Talons. After 2 routes, I found these shoes to be ridiculously slick. I felt completely unstable and my feet slipped off holds repeatedly. They are very comfortable, but the stickiness of the rubber killed it for me.
