Great purse, and I am very picky. lays flat while still holding a lot. The side pockets are great. Shoulder strap adjusts easily, everything feels well made. It is also my first Vera Bradley purchase. I will be using this for a long time.

Love the Vera Bradley hipsters but was glad to see a plain colored one. I have all the other ones and this was a surprise. Very nice made bag and great for the shopper. Love to wear mine across the body. Great for new moms trying to shop and balance everything. Thanks Zappos for the great bag and price. And free shipping - where else can you find that?

I carried this bag in Suzani on my Disney honeymoon and it was perfect! The size is just right for carrying the essentials without weighing you down, and the go-with-everything print meant that I didn't have to switch out my bag every day. My favorite thing about Vera Bradley bags is the organizational pockets, and this one definitely delivers on that point as well. I plan to purchase this bag in at least one other pattern to mix it up. Love it!

Enjoyed the size of the purse, quality and look. Wore it on my last trip and it was comfortable.

I love this bag! I really like how long the strap gets. I have a torso on the longer side and I'm not very thin and the bag still hangs at my hips. You can really fit a lot in the bag as well. The strap is soft and comfortable for long wear.

I'm a long-time user of Vera Bradley bags so was thrilled to see this new-to-me style and pattern. It lives up to the Vera Bradley line and holds more than I expected. Have had many compliments on it. Zappos' service was great.

I have gotten a Vera Bradley hipster in classic black. It was made of microfiber instead of cotton, and I expected more out of this bag rather than the unraveling of strings after a couple of days. I am disappointed at the quality because I have taken excellent care of the bag. I think the price is too high for the quality.

I love it! It looks great with the colors that I usually wear. I love the adjustable strap so I can go from shoulder to hipster. Outside pockets holds phone, etc. Inside pockets are helpful in organizing. The light weight fabric is nice in the summer.

Not for a petite person. I purchased this purse over a year ago, and have not used it. I'm 5"0 tall, and this purse is to long for me, even with the adjustable strap. I ended up buying the tablet hipster to use as a regular purse not to put a tablet in. I like that purse much better and use it weekly. I wish I would have purchased that hipster before this one.

I bought this as a gift for a friend, and it was my first Vera Bradley purchase ever. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the feel and quality of the fabric. I bought it in the chili pepper color, which is more red than it is orange, but it's a wonderful, vibrant color. Kinda makes me want one for myself, but it seems a bit small for an everyday purse. Perhaps more appropriate as a vacation purse.

I've only had this bag for a couple days, but so far it's great. I was having a lot of shoulder pain from my previous VB bag weighing heavily on my shoulder so I was hoping this crossbody one would take some of the pressure and weight off. Besides, it's winter in Minnesota...wearing big heavy jackets anything else slides right off. So far, I love it. It's lightweight and comfortable. The only thing I can say negative about it was I bought it in 'Dogwood' and the yellow in the picture is a big brighter than the actual yellow in the bag. It's actually more of a mustard, muted yellow. Not a fan of that but I really don't like the new patterns in the Vera Bradley line. I debated exchanging it for the 'va va bloom' but...I wanted something more neutral. I really did think the yellow would be brighter though. Oh well, it's still cute and the comfort is good. If the other patterns were black instead of brown I would be happier (hate brown!). Just personal style. I fit a large wallet, coin purse, other knick knacks and some pill bottles and it's still comfy. If you're looking for a good crossbody, this is for you.

I love this bag the only down fall is it was a little smaller than I expected but other than that it is so light weight and holds everything!

I love the Vera Bradley purses, this one in particular. I loved the print and winter colors, however it is so narrow it is hard to get much of anything in it, very difficult. I also bought a brown one, same problem.

I got this bag in black, which I noticed was a different material than the prints. I'd tried on a few of the prints at a store and loved the bag, but wanted something that would go with everything and ordered it in black. When it came it had a terrible smell and the strap was so stiff it was unusable. It wouldn't stay on my shoulder and was extremely difficult to make the strap bigger. I couldn't move the buckle, I had to feed part of the strap through it to make it longer. I really liked this bag at the store, but the one I got was so disappointing.

Very disappointed in the overall quality of this item. I am very careful with my bags and after only 3 months of use the hipster bag is already pulling apart where the straps attach and it is showing wear on the corners. I only carry a VB wallet, phone, and a couple of other small items in it so it surprises me that the straps are pulling apart from the bag. One of the reasons I ordered this bag was that friends raved about the quality so I am very surprised.

Be aware that Vera Bradley has changed the lining on their new patterns. Instead of the coordinating cotton lining, the lining is now a solid color crinkly polyester that sounds and feels like a stiff plastic bag. I am a long time fan of the Hipster; I bought my first one in 2001. But I will not be buying more, as long as this lining is in place. Bag looks and feels cheap, but it is not. This price? No way, Vera.

Poor design of strap. This is not long enough to be a crossbody & too odd for a shoulder bag. Shame on Vera Bradley - you're much better than this. Sorry but I'm sending it back.
