I am a die-hard Sorel fan and have owned my own pair since I was just out of colledge-20+ years. They are the best boots-after ski and around town. So, when my son needed snow boots this year, I went right to the Sorel and ordered them up! They are very easy to get on, but because of the toggle tie, we are not able to loosen them. He has a little trouble getting them off, but he is 7 and they are new. Think it will just take a little breaking in. They are great and keep his feet warm and dry while at recess and digging in the snow.

These are excellent shoes. Especially in heavy snow conditions. They keep the kid's feet warm and are waterproof. The design is also very trendy in my kid's school.

Fantastic boots! My kids have been wearing hand-me-down Sorels, but I just splurged on new ones for Christmas. The sizing seems right, but the toggle lacing system doesn\'t expand enough and makes it impossible to get the boots on. My daughter couldn\'t slide her foot past the turn at the boot\'s ankle. I had ordered them on the large-side so she could wear heavy socks so I knew they should fit. I had her try on the insert to double-check, and then I had to make a leap of faith and cut out the toggle laces. We replaced the them with traditional laces, and the boots fits perfectly. \r\nI\'m not sure why these boots are so hard to find. If you see your size, grab them.

Purchase this boot for my 12 year old daughter, she loves it. She did state that it's kind of hard to walk in because it is very heavy duty. It's a nice boot for the winter weather in New England.

I bought this pair for my 4 year old. He loves them! They look a lot bigger than his regular shoes and he walks a little bit funny with them, but he says "they feel comfy and they fit." They are a bit snug on the top and make putting them on a bit difficult, but after a couple of times he's been able to do it on his own. Other than those couple of things, which weren't deal breakers, we love them!

Very nice boots for the price. My son loves them. They are comfortable and warm. They seem very well made, also. Zappos sent them quickly and without issue. A great transaction overall! Thanks.

Purchased these for my son after an early season snow storm and already own a pair of Sorel boots that are very good. My son's worn them once so far, the quality seems very good and they offer excellent dry warmth and comfort. No complaints from the boy about the boots and he likes the leather upper. Would recommend these to others who want a sturdy boot that keeps feet warm and dry while playing in the snowny wet stuff.

Exactly what my 10 year old son wanted; he's always out, no matter the weather- no problem in these boots.

We live in the place to know! This is the best winter boot I have found for my kids. Stays warm and dry and tough for whole winter and returned for use again this winter. Worth the higher price. Other reputable brands just not as tough. Yes, heavier, but kids learn to walk and most of all appreciate staying warm. Bought for both son and daughter. Highly recommend.

My 10 year old son needed a warm waterproof boot that passes the "cool" test. He agreed to wear these and we had the chance to test them out in the recent November Nor'easter. They kept his feet warm and dry and were easy to walk in. He did complain that one of the boots rubbed against the side of his leg. I think they would feel better if he tucked his pants inside of them. I bought the boots a full size larger hoping to get two winters out of them. Since they are such large boots anyway I thought I could get away with it and I can. They are wearing fine on him loose. Right now, he tightens the front tassle to hold them in place.
