I am super happy with this bag, it's the perfect all-around for when I'm running around. A plethora of generously-sized pockets and a sturdy composition make this bag a real winner for the urban warriors.

Great bag, perfect for traveling, lots of pockets for everything and I really like the fact that there are multiple zippered outside pockets. I got the purse in black, and the length plus the adjustable shoulder strap is perfect for someone short (about 5 ft). One issue - for the price - the seams started to come apart after 1 week of use which was less than impressive. I am wary of buying another from this brand due to this quality issue.

I love this bag. The color is gorgeous, it's a great size, and I've been really happy with Haiku products in the past. Unfortunately, I was looking for something that would hold my MacBook Air (11.6" without a case) and this doesn't quite do it. It might have fit if the opening hadn't been narrower than the body of the bag, but it didn't. (I liked the bag enough that I tried a couple of times to fit it in there, which is kind of funny/ridiculous given that the laptop is a rectangle: I mean, how many different ways are there that it could fit?)

I love this purse! One of the front pockets holds my iPhone 4s (in an Otter Box) and my sunglasses fit perfectly in the other. I leave them zipped when I want extra "security" or unzipped for easy access. The inside pockets/flaps offer more perfect storage options as well. The strap lets me use this purse as a shoulder bag or, after lengthening it, as an across the body bag. It's easy to keep organized with this bag and it's easy to get to everything inside even with it on my shoulder. The perfect bag!

I really like this satchel. It has two small size zipper pockets on the front of the outside. I use one for my cell phone and the other I use for my lip gloss, mirror and pill case. The long zipper pocket on the back side I use for my long size index wallet. Inside there are two pockets, one on each side of the purse. One is a zipper closure the other side Velcro. There is enough room for my iPad in the center. I have my Ipad in a compact leather case that is an easy fit. I am not sure if an Otter Box (for Ipad) would slip in and out as easy though. I can wear the strap on one shoulder or cross body very comfortably. It is a really nice attractive, comfortable, accommodating bag!

I love this purse! It is the perfect size for me--not to large but I can still get everything in that I need including my iPad. It is very light weight and I like that it is made of recycled materials. It has plenty of pockets inside and out and the outside pockets zip so there is no danger of losing anything.

Bought this for when I travel and it was just great. Pockets give lots of separated storage and the bag is wide enough to open and see into, so finding stuff is easy. Love that it zips, so stuff doesn't fall out on the plane floor if it tips over.

My new favorite bag! Well thought out compartments make it easy to organize & find items. The strap is plenty long enough to wear cross body, or shorten when needed. The small outside pockets fit my cell phone perfectly.

I love the bag, but unfortunately I probably will send it back, it is a little too small for me. With grandchildren I always need a bigger bag. But if you don't need a large bag, this is really nice...

I absolutely love this bag. The subtle florals make a statement without screaming. It is very functional too. It handles all of my stuff without being too big. It's a great crossover-the-shoulder bag.

This is my fourth attempt this winter to find a workable purse and this one works, if not perfectly, very, very well. What a relief.

Awesome bag! Sturdy, lots of pockets, zippers worth smoothly, looks nice. I like that the strap does not loosen itself after I adjust it. Only problem is that the ends of the zippers are not anchored, so you have to hold the end while you zip it or the end of the zipper pops up. Fixed this with a couple of safety pins (not visible), so now I'm happy!

Nice looking purse. Just a little too small for me. Overall, the workmanship is excellent.

Great bag. I finally found one that accommodates everything. Very well made good looking and functional. I receive lots of compliments and is the only bag I use whether it matches what I am wearing or not. But I agree with the other reviewer, the strap does slip off my shoulder quite a bit which can be annoying. But I like that I can wear it across my body if I wish. They just need to figure out about the strap and fix that. Other than that great bag!

I love this purse! It is just the right size, has lots of pockets, and it's really well made. The colors are rich, and it's cute. I will buy this brand again. The only slight con is that the strap slips off my shoulder a lot. Not sure what the fix for that would be.

Love this bag! A place for everything and everything in its place, including my iPad. I searched purposely for a bag that would accommodate my iPad and this was perfect. Great that it's named for lovely Japanese poetry, too!

This is a great bag and the video on Zappos does it justice. It is roomy, and has many zippered pockets both on the inside and outside. I have the gray one with light blue strap and get many compliments on it. My friend couldn't take her eyes off it, and ordered the exact same one, which is a comment on just how nice this bag is. If you want something roomy, cross shoulder and just a little off beat, this is the bag for you.

I have the bamboo purse made of the faux suede. I love it, the color and size is just perfect. I love that you can wear the purse across the chest or off the shoulder. It is super cute and not as bulky as it looks on the model wearing it. I can fit all of my belongings (I carry a lot) and it still does not look bulky. This is a purse that you can dress up or down. The quality seems very good thus far. I am not too sure about the new nylon material. The faux suede is great and I would recommend it to anyone, better hurry though. I have been looking around and it looks like Haiku is going away from that look to the newer nylon.

This bag is exactly what I expected size and style-wise thanks to the video demonstration. It's made from recycled plastic bottles and is a backpack like material, tough but stylish, perfect for a tech-girl. The pockets are perfectly sized for cell phones, work IDs, chapsticks, etc., and have kept me organized! Two small issues: the strap doesn't seem to stay adjusted. It's easy to grab half the strap and make an unscheduled adjustment to the length. I ordered another Haiku purse in a different style that did not do this, so not sure why the buckle seems loose. Also--if you use your purse while driving a lot, be aware that there isn't much structure to the zippers--they're soft--so they don't close well with one hand while multi-tasking. Otherwise, very happy!

This is a very handy everyday bag or for traveling. It's what I would consider a standard purse size. It's not a giant purse where you stuff in a sweater and lunch. It's big enough to hold camera, phone, wallets, snack, book, make-up bag, and even a water bottle if you don't mind it sticking out. The zippered pockets are great. I got it for a trip to Naples where I feared the pickpockets would outsmart my regular purse. I'm happy to report that I and the purse survived.

I got this bag to replace my "to go" bag after I bought my iPad, thinking that the bag would be just enough bigger to hold the iPad. To my surprise, it really is no bigger, and the iPad doesn't really fit with a cover on. Too bad, because I really like the bag, but I am afraid I have to return it.

I love this bag. I love that all the pockets zip shut. It's really attractive and spacious.

I agree that this is a casual bag and I bit high for that, but it is a great bag. The large back pocket is large enough to fit a Kindle or an iPad. The smaller front pockets are great for kiddos snacks or phones (with the zippers open I have even used them to hold bottles). This coolest "mom" purse I have seen. I have gotten many compliments from a variety of people, many of whom were surprised that is not suede/leather.

Love this purse! It is so cute and I get lots of kudos everywhere I go. I am so glad to have finally found a crossbody purse that is big enough to hold my stuff, but not so big that it hangs funny. I can also easily shorten the strap and carry it over my shoulder when needed. The fabric is great too. Does not show dirt and it even got soaked once when I was caught out in the rain. It dried and still looks good as new.
