I've owned a Hi-Tec sandal previously and it was great for my plantar fasciitis. So in spite of reading on a review that some stitching came undone, I decided to order this Waimea Falls sandal by Hi Tec. Well, I have stitching that is coming undone, but because the sandal fits great, I am going to pay to go have the stitching repaired. I usually order a wide, but because of the style, with 2 straps that adjust, this medium width fits fine. This sandal doesn't look like it is made for someone with feet problems, which is nice. Only 4 stars overall because I have to spend more money to make it right.

These sandals are the bomb. I normally just use them for camping and fishing in Georgia, but most recently was in Maui on an unexpectedly difficult hike in the rain at O'heo gorge up to Waimoku falls. Had to stop and tighten the straps, but they delivered me through some scary (crazy cliffs nearby) trekking straight up the mountain for 2 miles. Just purchased another pair for my daughter in hopes that I can get her to hang with Mom on some adventures! Other than a rock concert. Kudos to hi-tech!

I was looking for a good pair of walking sandals for a two week vacation to France. When I heard there was some light hiking involved, I was happy to find these for such a good price. However I'll be sending them back because they don't fit well. I read reviews elsewhere that this shoe ran wide, so I was excited as I have a wide foot. They were wide enough, but the straps were not comfortable at all and dug into my feet. My little toe was also popping out below the first strap. And I have a thicker ankle, so the strap didn't fit well around there either and they were painful as soon as I took a step. I'd like to say these would be better for someone with different feet, but I honestly feel they're cheaply made and the material isn't comfy. I love my Hi-Tec hiking boots very much though. It's a good thing I bought a pair of Clarks as a back-up :)

I looked high and low for a comfortable sandal/shoe appropriate for office casual attire and walking on my lunch hour. It's good almost all year round in So. California. I'm sad on cold days when I have to wear shoes instead. I have them in 2 colors now, but will get the others that are available also. Walk on.

Wasn't sure about the quality of these based on the other reviews but giving them a try. The medium width fits my wide feet. The foot bed is comfortable and no issues with any of the straps rubbing. Will order another color if these hold up.

I got these shoes because I had a toe injury and could not wear closed toe shoes. These shoes are a godsend! They are comfortable enough to wear all day. I can hike, wade through water and even ride my bike. They are a great value for the money.

I love these shoes! They look elegant on top but have a comfortable, sport-type bottom. The two adjustable velcro straps mean you can get them to fit right for your feet. They run wide, which is good for my feet.

These shoes are a godsend for my 9-year old daughter, who has wide feet and a high instep. I can't tell you how many sandals I have tried, to no avail. Not even Tevas or Chacos fit her. So frustrating and sad when you go store to store, website to website, and can not find something to fit your little girl. Thankfully we are at the point where she can wear a size 5 in women's shoes. Even though these ones are not marked as wide width, they fit her perfectly. I can actually buy her true shoe size rather than going up a size or two.

Great shoes for people who have high instep and feet that swell. Adjustment on the top of the foot and around the heel make it great to adjust to fit for comfortable wear. Highly recommend this shoe.

These are very comfortable and a good fit. I wear a 6 1/2 but 6 is perfect for me. I know because... I bought the grey ones at size 7 at TJ Max last year and they were comfortable but a bit large and only #7 was available. Oh, and "the price is right." I have plantar fasciitis and feel, in every way, that these sandals are good for walking on sidewalks as well as on rough terrain!

I bought a pair of these for my daughter last year and they are her favorite walking sandal. She wears them quite a bit. We have not had any issues with the stitching.

I bought these shoes to walk around in on my trip to Mexico. I wear a children's 4 or a woman's 5 normally. I have short wide feet so women's 5 are usually too narrow for me. I purchased a 5 in these and they fit great. I often struggle to find the right comfort level--to be honest I'm not sure what I need as shoes with too much support seem to bother me as much as no support, but I found these sandals to be perfect. I did not try them out prior to my trip as I should have but it didn't seem to matter. I walked all around two days of my trip in them (he rest of the days I laid by the beach) and I didn't have any issues with them. So glad I got them!!

I was surprised to find such a nice sandal for this price! I like everything about it, especially the way the straps cross at the great toe -- no pressure on the bunion area! The back straps are slightly loose for me as I have a narrow heel but I can glue in a piece of foam if this becomes an issue over time. Perhaps this looser fit will prevent the stitching from coming apart.

After reading so many 5-star reviews for these sandals, I felt like I couldn't go wrong. Well, they're definitely not 5-star sandals for me. I was really counting on a super-comfy, cushy footbed but find it a bit too firm for my liking. I also don't particularly care for the Velcro strap that goes over the top of my foot. It doesn't hit in quite the right place. I think I just have really weird feet!

The front straps are not adjustable and are a little wide. I needed sandals quickly for a last minute trip, or I might have returned these because of the wide width. They are fairly comfortable for walking. Bought a different brand while traveling which has all adjustable straps & I like that fit better.

Surprisingly too large given that I ordered a very similar sandal from the same company and that one was fine. The toe straps were too loose. Since I'm a 5, I can't size down. Returned.

Shoes looked cute but were too narrow and my little toe stuck out. Also, the worst part, was that the strap that would not adjust hurt the top of my foot. I have a very high instep.

The left vamp strap is not adjustable and it was too long. The straps on the left shoe are different length than on the right shoe. Footbed is also uncomfortable because of too many straps.
