I love these boots, they are reasonable priced, very warm, totally waterproof and look great. I live in the Boston area and while I already have a pair of big heavy duty snow boots that are great for knee high snow, I needed something lighter and lower on the calf for coatings or ankle high snow and these are perfect. They are very warm however the inside faux fur which is black does rub off quite a bit onto your socks so I just wear dark socks to remedy that problem. I might also add that these boots are very simple and sleek, great snow boots that most can wear to work and wear throughout the day without having to change.

These are awesome and cute snow boots! I bought these boots for the east coast - where there is lots of snow! I wore them all weekend - dressed up and down. I waked all over Philadelphia, all day! And they pack great - I tucked them into my carrier on.

I really loved this boot! I took a gamble with there being no reviews and I'm happy I did. They are extremely comfortable - nothing digs in at the heel, ankle or toe. I typically wear between an 8-8.5 and I order the "39 (8.5)" to be safe but these were actually a bit snug so they definitely run small. They felt more like an 8 than an 8.5. Otherwise, I think they have a great casual look. I like that they don't look or feel chunky at all. Only thing I didn't like was that there seemed to be sporadic bits of rubber on the canvas. Not sure what that is all about, but it's barely noticeable. I haven't worn them in the elements yet, but hoping they perform well.

Cozy, warm, cushioned, and waterproof! They aren't the cutest, but they're functional.

Good alternative to a "Sorrel" or UGGS. (half the price) This was a cute boot, but runs VERY snug. I wear a 7.5 and ordered the 7.5-8 and it had to be returned. (thank you Zappos for the BEST EVER return policy). Also, the heel was advertised as almost 2 inches and it is closer to only 1 inch. cute style for a winter boot.

Styling is functional. Was drawn to zip front and tie to keep out snow. Can not comment on comfort since these boots do not fit. Do not try if you have WIDE feet. I'm women's 8 wide. Ordered 39 (women 8.5) and 40 (women 9) just in case. Unfortunately 39 too tight and 40 fit with VERY thin sock. Unable to wear size 39 with thicker winter sock. Unfortunately returning both. Still on hunt for winter boots.

Well since there is no way to update a previous review, I wanted to give you a two month update that after only wearing these a few times, the inside lining ripped leaving a horrible blister on my heel. Very disappointed as I absolutely loved these shoes. Huge props to Zappos giving me a full refund despite wearing them already. I won't be buying spring steps again, but I will definitely keep giving Zappos my service!

Very comfortable & keeps my feet nice and warm

I bought these boots four years ago for a snow trip. They fit perfectly and I was hopping for them to be suitable for my trip since I did not have time to exchange them for something else. Fortunately I found them absolutely comfortable and cozy and warm. They are water resistance and perfect for snow. Since I bought them they are my favorites to wear on snowy days! For the price you pay it is really worth it!

I was just looking for something that was inexpensive and functional for a snow trip. I found it. I like the fact that the boots are not overly bulky where my feet can swim in them, yet I can still wear a thick pair of socks and still feel comfortable.

A little tight over the arch area of the foot, but otherwise true to fit. Back of heel has a plastic piece in it that sometimes rubs the heel a bit when walking, but more of a nuisance than uncomfortable, does not cause blisters.

This boot was a full size smaller than marked. I normally wear an 8-8 1/2. I could barely get this boot onto my foot, even with thin socks. I would expect a snow boot to have a little extra room for thick socks, but this boot was definitely not sized properly. The style of the boot itself looked great, and I was disappointed to return it.

Shoe was not as comfortable as the other spring step because of the drawstring tie. The tie could not get tight. Laces would have been better.

They did the job well enough, but not the cutest or coolest out there.

I had the boots for about a month and the stitching on the toe of the boot started to come undone. I more have about an inch and half year in the boot. Boo.
