Love these shoes. They took a week or so to break in, but most Converse do. If you're a half-size (which these don't come in) I'd err on the larger size. I'm a 7.5 normally, and while the 7's were too snug, the 8's fit great.

These are great shoes. I never had the Slim before, I have had many pairs of regular HI All Stars, the advice on the site regarding they run a half size too big is dead on, they are exactly the same length as my regular All Stars that are a half size bigger.

First of all, I love hi-top Chucks and have 3 pair in different colors. For me, the All-star slim seemed like it might be cut a tiny bit snugger than the regular All-stars. If you plan on wearing with-out socks or thin low cuts like I do, definitely buy one size down from your normal size. Since I have a medium width foot, they fit perfect. Almost like walking around barefoot. Might not work so well for guys that have very wide feet. Like I said most comfortable shoe that I own and look great with most urban slim cut slacks and jeans and pretty good with shorts too. Service from Zappos was prompt and very satisfactory.

I love these shoes. I had been wanting some high top Converse to wear with skinny jeans, and these have proven to be very cute. Additionally, the "slim" sole gives them a feminine look, and of course, you can't beat the Zappos quick shipping! I've found these shoes true to size and comfy.

Love these shoes! I wear size 9 and they're very true to size. They tend to run long and narrow, which is great for my type of foot. They fit great with a pair of socks too. I also love the thinner rubber around the bottom -- it doesn't make my feet look as huge as regular Chuckies. As for comfort, there isn't a great deal of padding, but a cheap pair of cushioned insoles should do the trick.

Great shoes, but I wouldn't want to walk to far with them (because of the lack of sole cushioning). I wear 9 in regular Chucks, but needed a size larger in these. They work great as my compact moto-touring shoes that I wear when not in my boots.

Everyone says these look like a cheap version of regular Chucks, but I think they fit like a glove! I usually have to break in my regular Chucks for months, and these fit perfectly the instant I put them on!

Wow! Third order, they upgrade the shipping, they get their the next day. One time we had a problem with sizing. With Zappos, there was no problem, they took care of everything and we had the shoes we wanted within the week. Awesome!

These are my favorite Converses. I can wear these for 12 hours straight and my feet don't feel like they're dying. Super-duper comfy and soft after break-in and look even better after they look beat up.

The shipping was great and fast. One pair had a defect so I sent it right back. The other pair was fine.

I would like to have you send me a size 10 instead. Loved the sneaks!

These were everything we thought they would be. We're a Chuck Taylor family, so we're used to their good quality. They look great with my son's too-long jeans!

Love them! I also purchased in grey with the red stripe on the sole, love those even more. They fit exactly true to size for me. They are comfortable, but after a long day in them you can tell they lack arch support. But these aren't for sports so it is understandable. Zappos shipped early as usual...Zappos can't be beat.

Until recently I've never worn shoes like these. At first I couldn't understand how anyone could wear these. I couldn't get them on with socks. It took forever and was frustrating. You have to unlace them about half way down to get them on and take them off. After wearing them for a couple weeks I absolutely love them! The style is great, they're comfortable. Now that I'm used to the shoes they go on and off much easier! THANKS ZAPPOS!

I'm a huge fan of these slim Chucks. This is my second pair, but my first pair of hi tops. They look great, and they're not as bulky as traditional Chucks.

I've been wearing classic Chuck Taylors since I was a kid. This time I tried slim canvas as opposed to the thick sole, and I'm in love with them. They're even prettier in person than they look in the picture, I definitely recommend them!

Slim Chucks look great, very nice alternative to the originals. Fit, feel, etc. just like originals otherwise, but with cool new look.

Every American guy knows how Converse All-Stars fit and feel, because every one of us has had a pair at sometime in our lives. When I saw the guy in the New York Times ad wearing a pair while reading the Sunday Times with his girl, I had to have a pair. This is the classic high-top. Works great with jeans, especially turned-up salvaged jeans.
