These boots are the bomb! Due to the difficulty finding womens footwear in size 4.5 I'm often forced to buy childrens shoes. I bought the dark brown ones and loved them so much I came back for the black ones. These boots do run a tad large. I usually wear a size 2.5 to 3 in kids but I listened to the other reviews and went with a smaller size. I still had room for insoles which made them perfect. If you're looking for a comfortable casual boot, this is a very good choice. I'm a newbie to Zappos and would like to say the customer service is excellent. Thanks Zappos, I'm hooked!

Love this boot! I'm an adult who wears a small size (5) and was looking everywhere for brown boots that I can walk in (I live in NYC). This boot was perfect and very soft leather and rubber soles. It may not be the fanciest (no buckles, etc), but it's comfy enough that I didn't care. Agree with other reviews that they run big - I usually buy a 3 in kids but ended up with a 2. And I originally bought the lighter saddle color but thought it looked a little too orange, so I swapped it for the darker brown. Overall, a great buy and definitely worth the money.

Absolutely love the boots. I wear a woman's size 4 and got the Youth size 2 so that I can wear thicker socks. Very comfortable.

These are amazing boots! They are so comfortable even for my most picky shoe girl. She loves them for riding and general cowgirl chores.

These boots are definitely of Frye-quality. I bought them as a gift for my mom and she loved them. They are a bit narrow around the shaft, so they did not look as great on me as they did on her. They will fit a big calf, but they will bunch up at the ankles a bit. They also run at least one size larger. My mom and I are normally a 5 in youth, but the size 4 fit perfectly, with room for socks. For those who want a short boot with real leather at a good price, the kids Frye boots are a steal.

These are fantastic! Very comfortable right out of the box. I am normally a women's 6 and a child's 3 fit perfectly.

I am a woman with small feet and bought these boots for myself. I took the suggestions of other reviewers and ordered one size smaller; they just fit and my toes had NO wiggle room. I exchanged for my usual size and they fit perfectly. These boots are beautiful, high quality and stylish.

I ordered a pair for both of my daughters, they both wear a 6 in women's and the size 3 was perfect. The saddle color is beautiful and the quality is very nice!

My daughter just loves these boots. They are fantastic. She is very pleased with them. Her feet are narrow width, but it's nearly impossible to find any kids shoes in narrow these days. These boots fit her pretty well, so I'd say they must be a bit on the narrow side. She is slender and the shaft fits well. We did get her a size 3 when she measured a 3.5 at the store since other reviews said the boots run a bit large. They were large enough on her that she wore double socks for a month or so, but I think her feet have already grown because she wears just one sock now. She says the comfort is great and she wears them all day several days a week. They are holding up well so the quality is very good. I love that they are true leather so you can polish them up and keep them looking nice for a long time.

Beautiful shoe. High quality leather and craftsmanship. It was a little too wide around the calf for me. Not at all snug. But if you like that, then it will be great.

I'm normally a women's 5.5 and ordered these in a kids size 3. They fit well with a bit of room for socks. I have wide feet due to bunions and these boots fit great and are very comfortable. I am returning them because the style is a bit too boxy. They look like rain boots and there's no ankle definition.

These are super cute boots, however the sizing seems to be off. I ordered a size 1 for my daughter, and they felt just about perfect. I wanted to order them a bit large, since I was spending over $100 on boots for a kid who can grow a shoe size overnight. I exchanged them for size 2, and the 2s were a full size smaller than the size 1s. I ended up going with a different style altogether.
