AVOID! I purchased this belt roughly 2 months ago and the very thin leather backing has already torn along the stitching... pretty disappointing particularly because AE footwear wears like iron in my experience. While it is a nice looking belt, I plan to return it and get another style instead. Because the backing is very thin, this seems to be a flawed design and a product to avoid.

Beautifully made. Looks like it will last a lifetime! Wanted to buy it in black as well but my size is sold out.

This is a very nice causual belt. It has a nice padded feel and feels very substantial. I think the leather with contrast stitching looks great. Very nice and solid feeling buckle as well. I will be rotating this with a couple of other belts, so hopefully it will last a long time. If I find some durability issues I will try to update this review.

This is a very nice, well made built. When it comes to belts you get what you pay for. And you get your moneys worth for this belt.

We gave this as a gift to our 30-something son. Both he and my husband are big fans of Allen-Edmounds! This is a high quality belt with handsome stitching. It is a dress-up or dress-down accessory. Plus, you can't beat the fantastic customer service from Zappos!

I have purchased this item previously. I like the look and color. The leather holds up well but shows creases where the buckle lands repeatedly. After while I order a new belt because I prefer the fresh uncreased look. This happens every couple years because I wear the belt so often.

Great design and execution - should have been thicker, more durable leather

Fit is fine, looks nice, buckle is solid, stitching is good too. Looks great with tan and khaki pants and blue jeans. Nice versatile belt. It won't knock your socks off but very solid. I would recommend this belt.

This is a beautiful belt! Far more than I anticipated. I was looking for a nice casual belt to wear every day, but this one is typical of Allen Edmonds quality all around, I should have known. I probably would have kept it if it were not for its heavy weight and stiffness.

The belt is premium leather and well built. However when I compare it to the same belt I bout 10 years ago it's at least 1.5" shorter and not quite as thick or sturdy

The new belt I received is more of a light tan than brown. I bought this belt several years ago in brown and that one is a rich brown. It was one of my favorites and is showing some wear so I thought it was time to get a new one. Too bad he color is so different than the old one or the photo.

I am a huge fan of Allen Edmonds belts and shoes. This belt was not up to the same quality standards of Allen Edmonds belts that I have purchased in the past. The materials seem to be of lower quality and after one wear seemed like it was worn 10 times. I returned it and was able to get a full credit.

I bought this same belt many years ago when both the front and back of the belt constructed from high quality leather. When I re-ordered this belt, it had a cork backing. This was a complete surprise to me given the pictures.
