I loved the look of these boots. I was stunned how light they are. I thought they would be heavier, but they are seriously as light as a flip flop. I was worried that light meant cheap, but they stood up to city walking today. I am a size 9, and with thin socks they fit perfectly. Almost like a slipper. If I wore athletic cotton socks, I think they might be a tad snug. That said, the elastic and stitching is well crafted and the leather is butter soft. Amazing quality at a fair price.

I love these shoes. I call them my "Elven shoes". They fit perfectly, were super comfortable all day the first day I wore them, and I love the design.

Living in NYC, I always feel like I have to decide between style and functionality. This shoe has both. It is a rare shoe that looks good and feels good immediately. As a casual, on-the-go, go-to shoe, this is perfect.

These shoes are unbelievable! I love them! They were pure comfort and a perfect fit from the moment I put them on. They are like Cinderella shoes, I think they were made just for me. I never wear heels but these heels are effortlessly manageable. I also love that they are made of leather as opposed to the synthetic materials most other shoes are made of. Buy them, they will make you happy.

Love, love, love these shoes! They're very light though, which means they aren't super warm or supportive. They're comfortable like a slipper (I have a wide-ish foot) and very stylish, so worth it in my book. Just don't buy these to walk all day if you need a shoe with support. Get a clog for that.

I looked forever for a bootie that wasn't black, was real leather, and had a low heel and high ratings on comfort. These are comfortable, stylish, and I think the color, smoke, is awesome because you can wear it with black or brown (or any color for that matter). The leather is supple and thin and conforms to your foot almost like a sock. It ends up making your foot look really petite. The lining is fuzzy and cozy, and you can feel that even with socks on. The only negative I would say is lack of arch support. But I always walk on my lunch hour, and in these my feet are still happy, so the lack of arch support isn't too much of a hindrance. They look cute with skirts and dresses and pants, so they are very versatile. Love 'em.

I generally shop for things that are "different." These are definitely different. Zappos service and shipping is fast and a great website. I've read articles about Zappos, and I like to support a company with this culture. As for the shoes... haven't worn them outside yet... haven't decided if I am keeping them. They do look like the picture and description... just not sure if they are "me" yet.

I bought this shoe in black a couple of years ago when Rieker called it "Amanda". I have very difficult feet to fit comfortably...hammertoes on both feet, a bunion on my left. This shoe is amazing. The leather is unbelievably soft and accommodates my problems without pain. And it is just too cute! This color isn't quite red so will go with anything that looks good with wine/cordovan shoes. The downside is that it has virtually no arch support. I walked a couple of miles in them the first day and was fine, but if I wanted to walk in them all day, I'd put in my Birkenstock insoles. I have several pairs of Rieker, love them all, but these are among the best.

My main gripe is the color which is being marketed as "red." You will be terribly disappointed if you are expecting shoes that resemble the color in the photo. They are a deep wine color, almost brown.

Looks great with jeans or dress pants. Leightweight and comfortable to walk in.

Sent them back with regret! Fit perfectly but had a weird out pocketing behind stretchy dart. Maybe someone else had tried them on with really big ankles. Decided on another pair of Riekers Mirjam 80 that were slightly dressier and perfect.

I can't say enough about how terrific this shoe is! This is only my second pair of Riekers, and they are even more comfortable than the first pair I own. I normally wear a 7W (C-D) and I bought this pair in 38, and it fits like a glove. In fact, it FEELS like a glove. Next best thing to going barefoot! It fits so well that even 'invisible' (low cut) socks don't get bunched up in the shoe - I have no idea how they manage that, but it is pretty awesome. The fit is absolutely perfect in every way. This shoe is VERY light weight and the leather is very soft and flexible. Too often, I feel like one has to sacrifice comfort for style, but that is definitely not the case with this pair of Riekers! The 'bunched-up' look of the soft leather says counter-culture. But I have no problem wearing them with a suit to business meetings. I bought them in black, and it feels like I am saying, "I can do the 'uniform,' but I am accomplished enough to deviate from the norm a touch and show some flair." Although my first pair of Riekers are still in good shape after 7 (?) years, I am still thinking that I ought to purchase another pair of these if/when they ever wear out... I love them so much.

I have tricky feet, since they are between regular and wide width. These shoes are flexible enough (in the regular width) to compensate for my feet. The sole is soft. I really like the wrinkled look of the top, especially poking out from under pants. It's old-fashioned yet not. The heel is a nice height, too.

This shoe is lightweight and incredibly versatile. I cannot say enough good things about it. It is dressy enough to wear to the office and works perfectly with jeans, as well. The best part is that it is extremely comfortable, on account of the leather uppers being so soft and flexible, the 'just-right' heel height and the shoes' overall lightweight. I normally wear a 7 wide, and the 38 fit me perfectly.

These are absolutely comfortable and dressy enough to wear with slacks for work. I love them! I can wear them all day and I never never wear heels. I do not even take them off when I get home, which is very unusual for me. I wear strictly comfort shoes. I am not even sure why I tried them, because I avoid heels due to how uncomfortable they are. They look good.

I love these. At first Zappos didn't have these in my size but I kept checking back. They are so comfortable. The soles are a little slippery on waxed surfaces though. I love the heel. I would get a pair in every color.

So very comfortable! These shoes are soft yet supportive. I love that they can be dressed down with jeans or up with a dress or skirt. The slight heel with the interesting shape makes them much more versatile than most flats. Felt true to size except maybe a little snug on the vamp but I think that is because the leather is so supple and soft and may stretch over time. Love them!

I had hoped to buy these in red but the size 39 was too small. Only black was available in size 40. I didn't really need black but these are so comfortable and look great with jeans or trousers, and with tights and skirts. Sole and heel are great for dancing too. I haven't walked really long distances in them but suspect they might not have enough support for that. I usually wear a wide with but have found that the one width available from this brand is wide enough for me.

Heaven, right out of the box! I read the reviews and they were accurate. This shoe looks great and is extremely comfortable. I think they will be my "go-to" every day shoes for some time to come.

This very well might be my favorite shoe purchase of the year. They fit true to size, so comfortable that I wore them all day on my feet right out of the box the first time. No blisters, no aching, just a great pair of shoes...going to look for more shoes and boots made by these Rieker folks. Thanks Zappos for all my previous returns of other brands before loving this one.

These are possibly the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned - straight out of the box. I forget I have shoes on when I am wearing them. The leather is so smooth and buttery. It's thin enough that the shoe conforms to your foot perfectly. My only gripe is that these do not really look good with a skirt; they are really only pant shoes.

I really like these shoes but unfortunately they are too big on me. I'm confused because Rieker 36 is my normal size and I have other pairs that fit me perfectly. I looked through other reviews of this Louise shoe and it appears that people think it runs true to size. So what is wrong with my pair? Would have liked to have kept, but will return.

I ordered Rieker boots a few weeks ago and fell in love with the brand so decided to try shoes. Wow! So incredibly comfortable. I have a wide foot but these fit like a glove, with plenty of room in the toe area. I have knee problems so worried about the heel since I have resorted to flats for the past 5 years. Leather is so soft. No break in period. Put them on and wore all day. Absolutely love them! Thanks, Zappos, for being patient in my quest for a comfortable heel! You are, without doubt, my #1 go to online!
