I am a runner and only buy Asics. For me they give the best support and the best feel on my feet. I\'ve tried other brands but always end up coming back to Asics.

I m in Heaven! These are great sneakers, with good support, stability, the gel cushioning is great and the toe box is nice and roomy! I wear them for shifts where I am on my feet the entire time. This is my first pair of Asics. I ordered many other pairs of Asics to try on, but these were nice and roomy in the toe box, and that is important to me. I have narrow feet, yet my toes are squished together in a lot of sneakers. These are far better than any of the other expensive sneakers I have bought in the past, like Nike shocks, New Balance. These shoes instantly make you feel stable on the ground and have a LOT of cushion. I developed morning arch pain over the summer from wearing sandals for months. My feet are back to normal after wearing these. I have high arches. I bought a pair of expensive Nike shocks and this sneaker blow them out of the water.

Running on cloud 9! I am an underpronator, and absolutely love these shoes. My ankles & shins feel great after a 35 minute run. I have large, wide feet, size 10W, and these are actually very stylish. The 2 pairs of Sauconys I tried before the Asics made my foot look enormous! They fit great, very light weight.

Great shoe. I am on my feet all day and I don\'t have problems with my feet or legs hurting at the end of the day with these shoes. I found them to run true to size. They have a very roomy toebox. I originally ordered a 1/2 size larger, reordered the size I needed and received them the next day. Zappos customer service is excellent.

My heels were hurting the first time I tried these on and to my pleasant surprise these shoes were so cushy they actually made my feet feel better. I wear a 10 Narrow and have trouble finding shoes narrow enough. These are just a wee bit wide, but oh so comfortable I have to keep them.

Great shoe. I ordered several different shoes (Asics, Saucony, Salomon and Ahnu) for my workouts, and this was the clear winner. It really does feel like walking on a cloud. Ran true to size for me. (I also ordered a larger size based on the reviews, but didn't need to size up, after all.) As usual, Zappos service was excellent. Love the free shipping and returns, and the ability to try so many different styles in the comfort of home. Thanks, Zappos!

Where do I start? This will be my 9th pair of Asics running shoes and the best so far! I purchased the hot pink and absolutely love the color. Like all of my Asics, they were extremely comfortable straight out of the box, like all shoes should be, but sadly are not. They came from Zappos the day before a 5K run and knew they wouldn't let me down. And they didn't! My feet have never felt better after a run. So cushioned in the heel and snug around my arch. I always go a half size bigger in my running shoes than normal shoes. I am tickled pink with my purchase and just got on today to order a second pair in a different color!

I love, love, love these shoes. I had a pair of Mizunos but they pushed my foot to much to the outside which caused the outside edge of my foot to get sore. I traded those in for these Asics and what a difference. They are perfect for my high arch and are so comfortable. They really do feel like you\'re walking on clouds.\r\nI used to buy Asics because they were nice looking, comfortable everyday shoes. Now that I\'ve become a runner they really are great running shoes.

I've been an avid Asics wearer for about 10 years. These are the most comfortable yet! Very snug and airy. Feels like walking on clouds. I got the white/plum colored ones and have received many compliments.

If you want to know what pain is, I'll loan you my feet. I've been looking for the perfect walking shoe for exercise for a couple of years and have gotten by with some pretty good ones, but still nearly gave up walking from the pain in my feet--arthritis, plantar fascia, instability, etc. When I put these shoes on and began to walk last night, I thought, "I'm wearing the pink Cadillac of walking shoes." I had the best walk of my life and was able to walk faster and longer than ever before. ASICS are the bomb! I'm delighted!

Asics Gel Comfort - Have tibia tendonitis and when I wear this shoe, my foot feels great. I was looking at a walking shoe but they are all leather and get hot! This shoe is wider than the Nike one I tried and is very comfortable. They do run small. Normally a 7 1/2 or 8 and ended up with 8 1/2. Might get 2nd pair to wear in house.

Wonderful 5 miles right out of the box. I have high arches and this shoe fit like a glove. It's not as low profile as I'm used to but it's one of the best shoes I've run in. The toe off is really nice. And the forefoot cushioning is plush. FYI, the forefoot is not as roomy as some other shoes, but my foot is a little narrow. Looking forward to my run tomorrow. :)

I have run in Asics for the last several years: consistent design--roomy toe box, support, fitted heel. Gel Cumulus tends to be more unstructured for a neutral runner who wants soft underneath their feet. More mesh on top enhances this too. Small complaint. The more mesh, the quicker my toe eventually comes through (wears away the mesh) on top. Could be my gait, but others have noted it too. Like other Asics, a great shoe.

These shoes are snug and comfortable for longer runs for this low-mileage runner. The ventilation is great and the sole is just flexible enough. My only complaint is that they are pretty wide--the 2A size is still a bit wider than I would prefer.

I found the shoes to run true to size, not small as some of the other reviewers suggested. If you wear an 8 1/2, order an 8 1/2. Nice and light weight.

Size is true, but the Gel-Cumulus 11 seems to have a more rigid insole than previous versions.

I typically wear a 7.5 in most shoes, but I ordered a size 8 in these (after reading many of the reviews) and they were too big. Also a word to the wise: these shoes are not for wide feet. The toe box is somewhat roomy, while the heel is snug - definitely a good thing for running shoes. (I suggest looking into New Balance shoes if you have a wide foot). The reason I will be returning these and not exchanging them for a smaller size is because the arch support is far from "excellent." Admittedly, I have very high arches, but these shoes come no where close to offering support for my arches. I have always been happy with the quality of ASICS and Zappos, so I will definitely try again with a different style.

I love these shoes! The first time I wore them they felt a little tight but since then they feel like they have molded to the shape of my foot.

I bought these based on the reviews and the color. I normally wear a 5M, but always buy 1/2 size larger in tennis shoes. These shoes were a very good fit with a nice roomy toebox. They were comfortable with or without my orthotics. However, after a couple of hours without the orthotics the bottom of my forefeet began to burn. This happens to me in most tennis shoes and I’m not sure why. I would prefer a bit more cushioning in the forefoot.

I ordered the Asics Gel-Cumulus shoe, along with 4 other pair of shoes, to try to find the best fit for my feet. I really liked the extra cushioning in the ball of foot area, along with the cushioning in the heel. I\'m on my feet all day and really need good support and cushioning. I wore the shoes to work for 2 days but had to stop wearing them because they seemed to be narrower than normal and the tightness was causing foot pain. I loved the soft gel but had to purchase another shoe that was wider in the toe box area, to alleviate the foot pain. I think they run a little on the narrow side so if you have narrow feet, they would probably be great for you.

I really, really, really want to love these shoes! I own an older model of this shoe and they’re ready to go out to pasture. Last week I inadvertently ordered the Gel Nimbus 11 and reviewed them thinking they were the Cumulus 11s. When I realized my mistake I understood why those seriously sleek lookin’ Asics didn’t feel quite right to me. I returned them and ordered this shoe along with the Asics Gel-Maverick 3 and Gel-Kanbarra 5. The Cumulus definitely fits better than the Maverick or the Kanbarra, but being the most expensive of the three, it kind of should fit better than those two. In my previous two reviews I wondered aloud if the Asics fit had changed or whether my foot had changed with an 80 lb. weight gain in the last 10 months. While I’m still not sure of the answer, I feel it’s only fair to offer that info here to future purchasers of the shoe. This shoe, the Cumulus 11 just to be clear, does feel as though it fits slightly small, and narrow. However, I happen to like a shoe that hugs my feet and makes me feel secure in the shoe without cutting off the circulation. So I kind of do like the snug fit. I do notice that my feet ride kind of “high” in the shoe and am wondering if that is due to the enhanced cushioning. Here’s the catch though: I under-pronate, or supinate, when I walk/run. I originally got into the older model Cumulus for support in under-pronation. SO while the enhanced cushioning feels really great in this shoe, my foot feels as though it is trying to roll outward against the shoe. What’s the difference with say the Nimbus and this shoe? The Nimbus at least felt more natural and my foot doesn’t fight against the mechanics of the shoe when I walk. I know, I know, it’s a running shoe you say. So where does someone like me who wants a comfortable fitting for a moderately aggressive walking program... oh yeah, and who under-pronates? I also tried on the Saucony Grid Cohesion NX to compare with the Asics and I think I’ll wave goodbye to these pretty, pretty, really cool Cumulus 11s and return to Asics after I lose the weight to see if they feel any better.

I bought this sneaker after running in the Asics Nimbus for several years. The price difference was pretty significant so I figured I would try it. I would say, although both suggest they are for neutral to under pronators. These are more for neutral pronators and the Nimbus is better for under pronotators. Overall, a really good shoe.

First pair of Asics. I just received them a couple days ago. One quick run down, very comfortable shoe. Room in toe box and just enough arch support. I don't have super high arches, medium to approaching high, looking forward to longer runs in this shoe. I ordered a whole size larger than my street shoe, so plenty of room.

I’ve been wearing Asics Gel Nimbus for 7 years now but decided to try this Gel Cumulus this time. I can definitely notice the difference in price! The Cumulus is not as cushioned and not as flexible as the Nimbus. I found the soles to be much stiffer. I think this shoe would be great for walking or low mileage running but if you are running long distances or running very frequently, I would NOT recommend these. I’ll never stray from the Nimbus again.
