With just 7 months of normal use, ie, no running, exercising, etc, this shoe completely fell apart. The rubber soles on the backs are flapping around because they became unglued and the left tongue ripped out of its base. I am very disappointed in this shoe and would not recommend it to anyone. I have owned several New Balance shoes and will continue to use them but this was truly a bad shoe.

I love the shoe, but the sizes run a little small. It could use a little more room in the toe box. Other than that the shoe is great.

Zappos' service is terrific. These shoes are a perfect fit, but they were out of stock. We put the shoes on Zappos list and in a week or so, the shoes were here! Thanks, Zappos for another example of your special services. And the shoes fit perfectly!

I have worn cross-trainers from New Balance for years and have always loved them. The most recent pair I received had the entire sole of the right shoe peel off after 3 months of wear. There appeared to be very little adhesive applied. I'm used to much better quality from NB shoes, so hopefully this is not an indicator of how they are making shoes these days.

These are very comfortable shoes. They provide good support and are warm on my feet even in winter. They are light-weight. I ordered a wide and found them acceptable, but slightly narrower than I had hoped.

They fit. Right out of the box a perfect fit. I have a short wide foot so shoes are tough to come by. I wear a 7.5 wide so usually I have to go to an 8 but then they never quite fit right. They are warm too which is what I need for winter.

This is a very comfortable shoe much in the style of a gym shoe with styling that I can wear as dress shoe to work.

I love my NB tennis shoes and go through many of them. I need black walking sneakers for work, but could never find a pair of NB that feels great (like my NB tennis shoes). Zappos lists the last number of shoes, which is based on the shape of a certain foot shape and may be different for different models of shoes. I noticed this pair MX608V2 has the same last MX-001 as my comfortable tennis shoes. Sure, they fit perfectly for me. I had to return my other black NB walking shoes to Zappos because they have a different last and just don't feel right. Thanks to Zappos for listing the last which other vendors don't do.

I have had numerous New Balance in the past and have had good experience with all. This time I got a salesperson who didn't care about the fit and I wound up with a pair that is too tight in the width! I didn't realize this until I had walked for a while!!

I really like these shoes, except for the fact that the sole is peeling off from the back. After about three months of use, on both shoes the last two weeks or so of the sole has for no discernible reason separated itself from the rest of the shoe. This is vexing not only because I'm going to have to find some cement of some sort to fix the issue, but also because I've come to rely on New Balance to deliver good-fitting shoes that last.

Generally I like New Ballance products. This shoe is a disaster and isn't up to their normal quality. All I can say is I'm not real thrilled with these. First pair had the sole start peeling off within a week. Second pair was way too tight, so it seems like the actual size vaires within same label size shoe.

I really like everything about these shoes, except that they're falling apart after only a few months. The rubber sole on both shoes is pulling away from the heel -- looks like a design problem, perhaps, but it's very disappointing.

Love these shoes! Good support and size is right on. I'm ordering a second pair to have when my current pair wears out.

A very good buy for my husband! He says they are very comfortable and warm. I like the color and the look of the shoe.

Birthday gift for my brother. He said they fit true to size [purchased 10.5 E] & are comfortable immediately. A good value for a basic shoe.

So far very impressed with this shoe. Great to find EE width and very comfortable. I would buy this shoe again. Zappos is the best for customer service.

Nice shoe, light, comfortable and stable. Well made but inner sole is cheesy. I changed them out will a good gel pad. Great casual or work.

These shoes are comfortable, I buy New Balance because they have wide widths. The only thing this shoe needs is some protection on the toe, to keep it from scuffing. It seems without this the leather may wear out sooner.

Comfortable and sizing is accurate. I had a problem with the back portion of the sole separating from the shoe after a week’s wear. Very pleased with how Zappos handled the problem.

This is an excellent shoe. It stays amazingly clean and wears very well. It is a change from the standard white athletic shoe with all the comfort and performance of an athletic shoe. I have worn them for over six months and they are great every day shoes.

Of all the shoes I've worn, this one beats all else. No pain, just cozy comfort. Its like wearing custom made shoes just for me. Thanks Zappos for carrying my size.

I love these shoes! They are the typical wonderfully fitting and feeling New Balance Classic Sneaker! I always have two pairs of these great shoes around. A clean pair to wear out and about and the aged older pair that become my knock-around beaters. When my clean pair get dirty, they become my knock-around pair, and a new clean pair are ordered.

These shoes fit tight as compared to the New Balance MX 623, so I am returning them and keeping the MX 623.

Very comfortable shoes. I've had the MX608 model before and decided to try the MX608V2 model and it fits very well. New Balance shoes seem to always fit me well.
