I originally bought these to try different brand from smartwool. Unlike smartwool the band around the foot doesn't shrink after washing and drying. Also the material is sturdier than wool. The sock stays very dry. Very comfortable. The color is lighter than the picture suggests. The fit is similar to smartwool mid-weight socks and may be a hair thinner. I would recommend these socks.

These socks are great! A little thicker than I expected but does the job well. I hiked for hours a day in Patagonia with these socks and although the rest of me was all sweaty, my feet seemed dry and protected.

I like 'em! They're not at soft as Smart Wool and don't extend up my leg as far as Smart Wool. Drymax is sturdier than Smart Wool and will wear longer. Drymax form-fits your foot, so there is no shift or chafe. It keeps my foot nicely dry.

These are perfect; wore a pair at Saratoga Race Course with lightweight Cole Haan boots, on a rather warm humid day (I'm a photographer there). No moisture accumulated . Should work well this winter season.

Funky little socks, they are dry to a point but it's not like your feet still wont sweat with them on. All in all, they are good socks.

These socks are wonderful! The material feels soft but is not slippery. Size M fits my women's 9.5 feet perfectly. This was my first time buying Drymax but it won't be my last.

These socks are great. When I unpacked them, I was concerned at how thick they are, I couldn\'t see how they\'d perform as well as I\'d heard. \r\n\r\nHowever, they work fantastically well. Better than my thin Coolmax liner socks I\'ve been using. I\'ve used them for everyday wear in the office, and summer backpacking with both goretex lined and non-lined boots. \r\n\r\nGreat socks.

Great Hiking Socks - I like that Drymax has two different weights of hiking socks. They have a heavy duty (HD) version for the winter/fall months, then the lite weight version for the spring/summer. They keep my feet blister free and also cool while hiking. They move the moisture from the inside of the foot to the outside of the socks so it's fantastic.

Zappos socks are the best socks I\'ve ever owned. They stay up on my legs and feet which is a big plus for me. They do keep foot odor away as promised! Zappos socks are the best! I love them and now my son loves them too! Thank you Zappos!

I love these socks. I use them mostly for ice hockey, but they work great for any application. Unless you are trying to keep your feet warm. They seem to let all the heat out. I think the primary purpose of these socks is to provide ample cushioning on the bottom, while not over heating your feet. They do seem to wick moisture from the inside out like they are supposed to.

I love these socks. They are supportive and warm, but do not make feet sweat. I would buy them again in different styles for different wardrobe applications.

My wife and I wore these for a 25 mile speed hike in rocky, wet, muddy terrain. We changed socks three times. The technology in these socks keeps your feet dry while maintaining great cushioning. I started using drymax after getting a serious blister during a 1/2 marathon trail run using injinji wool blend socks. I plan on staying with this brand for some time.

Bought these socks for my son to wear while hiking the Appalachian Trail this summer. Not a single blister, and he says thy kept his feet dry and comfortable. Can\'t ask for much more than that.
