These are amazing shoes. My first pair convinced me that I could truly hike many miles with no blisters. Great shipping service from Zappos too.

I love these shoes so much. These are comfortable right out of the box, with almost no break in period. I have broken my right foot twice, and have screws in my foot as a result. I also have issues with my feet swelling and needing a wider toe box. That has not stopped me from keeping moving. Inov-8 Roclite shoes give me the arch support I need and the traction I require to feel safe and not worried I'm going to land incorrectly on pavement or trail. They are streamlined shoes that don't look like some of the huge, clunky, athletic shoes out there. Lastly, because they are relatively lightweight, they are easier on my knees and legs. I just ordered a second pair to make sure I've got a back up! I wear these shoes for trail running, pavement running, and competitive stair climbing.

I expect trail running shoes to be as supportive as a light pair of hiking boots. I run/hike on trails in the Rocky Mountains. The Roclite 268 Trail Running Shoes do not have a thick enough sole to offer the support to help me grip rocks that i am stepping on while ascending/descending. I was informed that this is a good shoe for narrow feet, yet my toes still have too much room; I find my foot twisting in the shoe when I am on a slanted surface. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe and wish I had ordered a size 10 in this brand. I will not use this shoe on graded trails; they are only effective on flat surfaces without scree or loose rock.

I wore these for Tough Mudder and they were the best thing ever! I had so much grip on muddy hills! Everyone was sliding and I could just climb right over. I am overweight and they felt great! They shed water really well throughout the whole challenge. I wore them with Nike Dri-fit socks and never had a blister to anything. Also a plus, I didn't have to trash them. They washed up like new. I have swamped these babies 4 times and they wash up like brand new. I don't put them in the dryer. AWESOME! Can't recommend them enough for Tough Mudder!

Wonderfully lightweight. Using the shoes for running and I needed an added arch support as the shoes were less supportive than what I was accustomed to.

So far so good. I am a barefoot trail runner and a lot of my trail is on rocky, dirt roads. Tried Merrell Bare Access Arcs (because in my heart, I remain a huge Merrell fan) but my poor feet could feel every large rock. Very little "grip" added to some near-falls. So I did my homework and ended up with the inov-8 Roclite 268. I wear a size 8 in the Merrells and I found that an 8 was fine in these as well (in a "normal" shoe (heels, flats, and sandals), I usually wear a 7.5). First day out on the trail and I was in heaven as I stomped rocks without feeling any pain. Not as roomy in the toe box for my slightly wide feet as the Bare Access Arcs but I'm willing to break them in because of the quality of the shoe. No slips or near-falls. Grips the road like a dream. Plus, they are really cute. Love the contrast of the bright blue and the smoky greys. I'm quite pleased with my purchase! As always, Zappos delivers superb customer service.

I am moving towards more minimal shoes and I wanted a hiking shoe that was the same. I do local day hikes on trails and hikes in Yosemite like Vernal Falls. This shoe had great hold on rocks and on the trails. They were comfortable from the first moment I put them on. I bought a size 9, though I typically buy an 8-1/2 for hiking boots, and wear an 8 regular shoe. They tie comfortably tight so my foot never slipped to cause my toes to jam.

Love these shoes, run everything from 4 to 16 miles in them! They are great! Great climbing rubber, stick to everything! Prob a 2 week break in- adjustment time for my feet where I kept it low mileage Toe box is kinda big, got a 6, which I wear in wave-runners prob could go down a half size.

My favorite shoes! I traded in old, thick, clumsy hiking shoes for these and the moment I put them on I was more cheerful, weighted less, and could climb higher mountains...faster. Well, okay, I can't say the shoes did all of that but honestly, these shoes are so comfortable, I really felt better. I get compliments on them all the time. I wear them to the gym, on walks, travel, and on hikes. They are super light weight, very flexible and did not require "break in" time. I'm getting them in another color now because they are the kind of shoe I want to make sure I'm never without. I normally wear an 8 1/2 to 9. I bought 9's and they are perfect...I would not want them to be smaller or larger. I have kind of wide feet. They fit perfectly in the width.

This is a very nice shoe but not wide enough in the toe box. Like all running shoes, I ordered a 1/2 size larger than my regular size, and it fit everywhere else just fine.

I have been using this shoe for almost a year. It is light weight, and I like the colors. The main issue is there is no arch support. I had to purchase inserts.

I have had these shoes for a few weeks now, and so far I love them! They are light and flexible. I wear the Roclite 268s for trail running. I also wore them in a Tough Mudder event. While the other participants were slipping and sliding up and down the muddy hills, my boyfriend (who was also wearing Inov-8s) and I ran right by them all! These have the best grip that I have ever seen on a trail shoe. The Roclites also shed water very well. There is little if any support in this shoe, which is what I was looking for, but it is not for everyone. I highly recommend this shoe!

I generally wear a 9 M. These shoes did not work for me. The 9 fit perfect in the width, but my toe was at the end. The 9.5 was better in length but too wide. I absolutely LOVE the Inov-8 Roclite 275 GORE-TEX. Totally different fit.

The inov-8 Roclite 275 Gore-Tex was so amazing that I wanted a non Gore-Tex version. Tried the Roclite 268 because it was on sale. A totally different shoe. Both fit closer that my normal size 9, but the 275 felt great that way. My toes touch the end of the shoe in the 268. Will try a half size up.

Too wide for me, especially in the footbed and midsole.

I absolutely love these shoes. I am an avid runner which is how I learned about Inov-8 shoes to begin with. I spent months looking for a shoe to wear to work (on my feet all day), go hiking in, and walk around town in. In addition to all of these, they make great running shoes. Very flexible, good (but not too much) padding and excellent traction. These shoes are low profile, so I don't have issues with rolling my ankles. Totally recommend this shoe to anyone with picky feet in need of some TLC.

I bought these specifically for a trip abroad, and they worked great! The shoes are supportive in tough terrain, but they're light and breathable for city walking. I replaced the insoles since the stock are basic. I also ordered 0.5 size larger, and it's perfect. The shoes are on the narrow side, but this worked well for me since my feet are pretty narrow.

This was my first true sport shoe I bought, as I always hiked or ran with shoes that, while they were deemed athletic, would leave blisters on my heels or toes. I decided to invest on these shoes, hoping I chose the right ones, and yep! I love these shoes. I have hiked and ran on asphalt, mud, rock, pine needles for usually nine hours and I have not had any blisters or callouses. They provide excellent grip and traction on rock, which was a pleasant surprise as I was also used to slipping on other shoes. These shoes are not that waterproof, since one may feel wet if one landed on a puddle, but they dry quickly and resist mud and marshy terrain very well. I am a US 6½, more of narrow width although B/M tend to fit me fine too, depending on the shoe mostly, and I found this shoe true to size and width, as well with great arch support.

I got this shoe for dry and hot weather. It has a slightly larger fit for me than the Roclite 295, but the fit is great for every day wearing. A surprise is how quickly they dry if I do get them wet. I use the 295s for running as they hug my feet a bit better. After wearing the 268s for 6 weeks, the calluses on my little toes have disappeared, telling me that this shoe (and the Roclite 318 and 295) design lets my feet do their job properly.

When I first slipped this shoes on they felt like old friends. I use them to run my dog in agility. They have a nice grip and lightweight. I did buy a 1/2 size bigger as they seem to run a little small.

I am a big fan of Inov8. They allow my foot to move naturally and increase foot strength. And they grip the trail like no other.
