This is probably my husband's fourth pair of these shoes. We've tried more expensive, top-of-the-line brands, but keep coming back to these because they look good, they're well priced and they hold up well and perhaps not quite as long as some of the more expensive brands, but certainly well for the price. My husband's hard on his work shoes because he does a lot of walking around a campus, but I (and I'm sure he!) would highly recommend them.

Very comfortable shoe, true to size. I have problems with shoes hurting my feet after a few hours of wear. Not these shoes...very comfortable.

Great shoe. Great craftsmanship, compares favorably to shoes priced 2-3 times as much. Including Ecco and Rockport. And just as comfortable. I tend to be a brand snob with shoes, so I was a bit ambivalent about ordering the Bass Alberta. Had a pair of Bass Bucks in college so not much experience with this brand. BUT when you factor price into the equation, this shoe deserves 6 stars.
I'd also recommend:
ecco, rockport, clarks

Attractive shoe. Bought for my boyfriend and it seems one foot is a little bigger than the other, so he ended up with a bit of a blister on the one foot. Fairly comfortable once broken in. He is happy with them.

This shoe is a good fit for me. I have issues with finding size 13 that are easy to slip into. One issue though is they have a weird plastic smell that hasn't gone away after a week of wearing.

Cheap product. Leather just looks very cheap. You get what you pay for. Most high quality leather shoes can simply get a shoe shine to buff out scrapes, etc. These get scuffed, and they're done. Leather rubs off to reveal a cheap, rubbery, under side. Basically, the shoes are ruined. Had them for about 3 months. POOR. Buying more expensive ones now. The lesson is always: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Should have just paid for the more expensive shoes first and saved the money.

This is the most expensive work shoe I have ever bought but it is also the worst shoe I ever bought. they fit fine but after 1 day of wearing them them the left shinny new coat on the toe was already coming off. It was like I had them for years. I have cheaper pairs last way longer. I work in an office I would understand if I was at a job where they could ruffed up more but that's just not the case.
