Awesome shoes! Very cute & very comfortable. Would highly recommend, but FYI, they run a little bit big (compared to the Teva's we normally buy).

My son has gone through three pairs of this shoe, we love them! I gave 4 overall stars because he is hard on shoes so we have had to buy a couple in the same size...the day a shoe surprises me by not getting torn up by this kid, I will give 5 stars. They definitely hold up better than Vans and we love the style. Both colors are nice, I hope they come out with more choices. No laces are definitely a plus. Converse/Chucks tend to run a little big, however I order the same size as I do with other shoes, the difference is not drastic enough to go down and I like the extra room to grow.

We love Chuck Taylor shoes and have had several pairs for my son. These replaces the ones that look the same but open with Velcro. For older kids, these would probably work well, but for a 4 year old (with feet too big for the toddler-sized Velcro ones), these are too tight for him to put on himself.

Love the ease of putting them on. Sometimes it's nice to not have to stop and help tie shoes every 10 steps! Look nice. Only con I would say is they don't hold up like they did when I was a kid, but then that could be said of most items we purchase today.

Good looking shoe. Bought for 3 year old toddler. Easy on/off. Clean via washing machine, a plus.

We ordered these for our son after he grew out of the little boys' version that has a Velcro closure along the tongue of the shoe. He has very wide feet and the Velcro version was great for him and easy for him to do on his own at 3 years old. This bigger size uses elastic on the shoe's tongue and it is very difficult for him to get these shoes on. I don't think we will get much use out of them unfortunately. I would avoid them if your young child has wide feet.

My child wears a 12.5 or 13. We tried (and exchanged) the 12.5s, 12s an 11.5s. my son's heel slipped on all of them. Fit wise, the 12's were likely best, so sizing down a full size is recommended. The 11.5s were too narrow for my son to get his foot into the shoes (without adult help) so we are returning and moving on. Bummer.

These sneakers are very cute. I bought them for my 5 year old son. They are very easy to get on and off. BUT 2 weeks into wearing them the top portion above the eyelets began to fray. Now he always has strings hanging off his shoes that need to be trimmed. They look like they are falling apart!

This is the second pair of Chuck Taylors I bought for my son. The first pair closed with a velcro strip which worked perfectly, but these have a small elastic band to keep them closed instead. The problem with that is that the elastic has stretched over time and now these shoes just fall off my son's feet. Such a disappointment because I LOVE the stylishness of these shoes. I wish they made them with the velcro closing in the larger sizes too because I'd order them over and over again. Instead, I'm going to have to throw them out after only a few months of sporadic use.

My 9 year old son loved the shoes. I bought them for his summer camp because they seemed to be easy to put on, comfortable, and light. After one week! of wearing them, they started to fall apart - one shoe got a rip on the stem, and all over the shoes where the rim is, the threads of material started to come off. I cut the threads, but same thing happened right away. These are not very cheap sneakers, so I was hoping to last for at least one summer season. Very disappointed in this style. :(

These shoes look great and my daughter said they were comfortable. However, I rated them one star "overall" because after less than 4 months they are completely falling apart. This never happened with the Converse sneakers with laces, but the slip on ones are in tatters - I'm talking about strings hanging all over them, large holes separately the canvas from the sole. They look like they are ten years old. While the laced ones my older daughter had were able to be passed on to her younger sister, and laced Converse that I have are fine looking after several years - just faded because I put them in the wash a few times. So...I wouldn't get the slip ons again.

We got this shoe for my 5 year old after the rave reviews on this website. This is a stylish looking shoe and is very comfortable. My son used this for daily wear. However within three days of wear, the shoe started looking very ragged and dirty. And within one month, the seams ripped and there was a big hole in the front.

I bought these for my 7 year old daughter and she loved them. They are very versatile and looked cute. But after about a month or so(of wearing about 12 times) they were completely falling apart. She began to complain that they were slipping off her foot. The soles look great but the fabric was fraying. This wouldn't be horrible, but upon further inspection the stitching next to the tongue has come undone and now they won't stay on her feet. I am very disappointed in the quality of these as she is not particulary rough on shoes.
