Love the fact that these shoes are eco friendly, but on top of that, they are very comfortable. They are perfect for cruising about town and I would imagine great to wear in a casual work environment. I would advise getting them one size bigger than what you normally wear though, they run a bit small.

These shoes feel like slippers. Very little support, but comfortable if you don't need it. They can be thrown in the washer if (when?) they start to stink. I would describe them as shoes for people who hate to wear shoes.

These shoes were better than what I expected. A couple of people said that there was no arch support, and that they weren’t terribly easy to walk in. I ordered a size up, as recommended, and they fit so perfectly. The inside actually has some padding, and they’re as comfortable as slippers, except you can go outside in them! More than happy with them. They look great, they feel amazing. I have wide feet, too, and they had plenty of space with the one size up. They’re not made for arch support, but certainly provide enough for me. Good material, flexible, and just a great shoe.

Nice casual shoe. I ordered the shoe a half size larger and it\'s still too small. I would order 1 full size larger.

These shoes are as good as chocolate. I bought them 1 full size bigger as recommended. Grip is great and the insole carpet feels SOO comfortable. Feels weird to run/walk fast in these shoes. The sole has zero absorption. Maybe not the best walking shoes out there. I would probably prefer to walk in flip flops before my heel tells me to die.

I like the looks of these shoes. I ordered them a full size larger than my typical size and they still are way too small in all parts of the shoe. I would order them either 1.5 size up or maybe 2 full sizes up. I'm returning them to Zappos but am getting another pair because the shoes have many attractions - they are eco-friendly and seem no-nonsense.

These shoes are really fantastic. They’re so comfortable, easy to take on and off, and much sturdier than I expected. Plus they look great. I’m always happy with Simple.

This is a great casual shoe. Had more cushion then I thought they would have. Has a little arch support. I ordered my normal size and they fit great!!

I've had these for a few days, and I'm pretty sure that if it were socially acceptable to wear these at all times (including shower and bed) I would. In fact, after only a day, I ordered 4 more pair and will store them until these wear out. My hope is to where these shoes for as much of the foreseeable future as possible. I have been a Loaf Off Road man for the past few years, but I think I'm making the switch for good. One thing to note. Some reviewers have mentioned that these run small. They may be referring to the hemp versions, not these, as I wear a 12 in the loafs and these, and an 11.5 in the EcoS. I wouldn't expect these to stretch either.

The Gumshoes are great! The most comfortable shoe I ever owned! Do keep in mind they run about a size small.

I'm on my feet teaching most of the day, so I decided to go with the Simple Gumshoes over dress shoes. It was a good decision. They are supremely comfortable and even a little stylish. Many have commented and complimented them. Some have said they remind them of a house shoe, some have said they look really good. The slacker in me loves them. I didn't notice a problem with size; I usually wear an 11 and a half, and ordered a 12. They fit very well.

Jute/rubber soles are too slippery for me - I love these shoes except for the soles which are made of recycled rubber (Great!), but also jute. The jute makes the soles slick on the hardwood floors in my home, almost as slick as walking in socks. And at work I go up and down wooden stairs, so these, while beautiful and super comfortable, would actually be dangerous for me. I love these shoes otherwise! Simple Shoe Co., be true to the name and give me true gum shoes that won't slip on hardwood floors. Then I'll buy these in every color. If hardwood floors and stairs aren't a concern for you, I say get these, but of course get a size larger (as noted in the description) that you usually buy. These are comparable to Simple's 'Loaf' style shoe (which I own and love), but thinner so better for warm weather.

Good summer shoe - This shoe runs a half size too small. It is a shoe for the summer because if you try to wear socks it is a little tight still. So if you want to wear socks I would try 1 size larger. After getting the correct size, it is a great shoe.

I bought these shoes as my city-styling shoes for a backpacking trip in Peru and Ecuador. I wore them almost every day I wasn't hiking or swimming. They were great. Here's the skinny: 1. Some people have said they felt larger than sized. I did not. I have owned several other Simple brand shoes and found these were sized appropriately. However... 2. These shoes offer no arch support at all. I have custom orthotics which I put inside the shoe that solved this problem, but because these shoes do not have a removable footbed, I had to put the orthotics on top of the sewn in footbed. Thus, I required a 1/2 size larger shoe to accommodate my orthotic. 3. Even with the orthotic, these shoes were super comfortable slip-on styling, great for dancing, and packed nice and flat in my pack.

We ordered the blue multi which are very nice but run extremely small! Went through several exchanges on this one because of the sizing issues. It's very cool that so much recycled stuff is used in making them & they are very attractive! (More than a full size smaller!)

I love the eco friendly materials, the tire sole, its light weight, simplicity, and uniqueness of its design. It also fits my narrow feet when barefoot, which is hard to do. I normally can't wear slip ons since my heel is so narrow, but by ordering a half size down, my feet securely stay in, making them an awesome pair of "winter flipflops". On particularly cold days I will wear socks with them too. The fabric allows for some stretch room, and they really form to your feet in a short amount of time. I have another pair of these in cotton (this style being hemp), and love them both. They are compact and light for travel, and I keep a pair at each location I stay at. The only downside is that they're like a winter flipflop as far as comfort goes as well. They're great for casual trips, but not long walks or extended standing as you might imagine. There is minimal padding and support underneath, but the lining is soft, so it's fine under most circumstances. It's more of an improved barefoot type experience in my opinion, but I like that. They look great with jeans, are versatile, and make a unique statement while supporting the environment. I considered getting Sanuk's, which are similarly priced and have many style offerings. They have a foam bottom that provides more cushion, but the materials seem cheaper and the styling less versatile and more juvenile. Olukai's are the best but cost twice as much, so I prefer 2 pairs of these. If my description sounds like what you're seeking, they're worth a try!

Great looking shoe!

Yes indeed, these are great comfy shoes. I think they can even pass for nice casual (nice work shoes). Also customer service at Zappos is off the hook amazing.

Very Comfortable. I feel like I\'m walking around in my slippers all day. Many of the comments said that they run small, so I ordered a size up, but I think that they\'re a little too big (I ordered a 15, but normally wear a 14). Regardless, they are great shoes and are perfect for hot summer days.
