Very nice slippers. I had surgery on my broken ankle, and now that I can start walking again I have a very swollen foot and ankle. These slippers worked out great. They're nice and wide, and I can make the Velcro tighter on my good foot! I wanted slippers I can wear out; these fit the bill. Warm and comfy on my sore foot!

They definitely run true to size, don't order larger than you need. I take an 8 1/2 and ordered a 9. They are too large. Overall it's a good sturdy slipper. Great if you are having any foot problem, surgery, etc. Gave style a 4 star because I would have liked to be able to pull the strap tighter.

I bought these for my mother. She's 92 and her feet/lower legs are very swollen. She can put these on by herself and she likes them very much. I bought a half size larger and the "w" width to compensate for the swelling. She normally wears a medium width. The only criticism I would have is the tabs could be a tiny bit longer. Even so, she is able to fasten the tabs herself.

I bought these for my mom who is visually impaired and has difficulty bending down to put on her shoes due to an illness. I wanted a pair of shoes that she could easily put on by herself because there is very little she can do on her own. These fit the bill!

Great slipper with good arch support. The wide width is wide for the entire slipper, but that works out OK, I can slide then on without changing the velcro strap. I have stairs at home and feel very secure walking up and down in the slippers. The sole is very substantial, adding more control.

They have been a life saver for my feet I had surgery on a bunion from hell and this shoe gave me the support I needed, the strip that you fit to your own foot works great, it was a real good buy. Anyone having foot surgery I would suggest this kind of footwear, to get you through it. Again thanks for a good pair of shoes!

WOW!!!! At last I've found a slipper I LOVE. These are so comfortable, they have some support, which I need, and I can even wear them outdoors. I have tried to buy comfortable slipper in all types of stores, even those that sell orthopedic shoes and was never successful. An added bonus is they do not leave those awful scuff marks on my hardwood floors. Thank you Foamtread and Zappos.

Excellent service - This shoe was purchased for my 92 yr old mother who is in assisted living and unable to go out to purchase shoes. The shoes were delivered the next day and are an excellent value. She is very pleased with them.

These slippers are just as comfy as any could be! I have a small, wide foot and these fit the bill. Really cute looking and it is so nice to have a pair of slippers I can wear down for meals in the assisted care facility that I live in. Lots of compliments too! The only comment I have is to have a longer strip of velcro on the strap right to the very edge.

It's clear these slippers will last a long time. Removable insert is great. I may replace it with a more absorbent terry insole. I found that my true size (7W) was a tad short, with my toes hitting the end of the shoe. I ordered up a half size to accommodate socks.

I am ready to order a second pair for my mother. She has difficulty walking and needs an easy slip-on, lightweight slipper and indoor shoe. She also wears a large size 11. This is the one and only!

Bought these slippers for my mother who is in a nursing home. She is confined to a wheelchair and these slippers have a nice bottom that help her get a grip when "walking" with her chair and have an adjustable strap to accommodate different thickness of socks. I bought these slippers for my 91 year old mother-in-law. I liked the fact that the slippers have Velcro closure and could be adjusted on those days when her feet are swollen. She loves them!

These are great for my 90 year old mom, who has osteoarthritis. I bought a size over her 'normal' size, (a 7, instead of a 6 size) and they fit perfectly. Plus, they're really cute. She said intially she didn't like pink, until she put them on. The velcro strap makes them easy-on, easy-off. And, they're easily washable. Overall a big 5 star rating.

My grandmother would call these house shoes, but I do not care. I like them, and they work around the house, or out of the house. The footbed is strange though as there is almost a wedge on the outside of your foot, as opposed to at the arch.

I am returning these slippers because the strap does not reach across the top of the foot to fasten. Why? I orders wide sizes and this should not be. i would like the slipper very much except for this error.

Extraordinary! My 78 year old mother has Alzheimer's. She still manages to shuffle around the house and take her little dog outside. Both of her poor old feet have very large bunions, and other deformities. One foot including the toes curve inward, and looks very painful. Its almost impossible to find a lightweight, simple shoe for her to wear. I found Foam Treads Kendale slippers on Zappos and we are both extremely happy with them. If she's happy, I am very, very happy. Finally, a pair of shoes that she loves, she always makes sure these slippers are nearby. Other types of shoes make her feel like she is going to fall. Not anymore though. She wears these everywhere. I'm on my way to order another pair. Wish there were more colors though in this particular style.

Okay, I am neither elderly or living in a extended care facility. I'm a pretty active 60 year old with painful/sensitive feet due to Multiple Sclerosis. These slippers fit the bill for me. I bought 2 pairs and had them resoled so I can wear to work (the slipper sole wore out too quickly for work). Getting ready to buy my 3rd pair. Not terribly fashionable, but I need a shoe with a back that fastens due to my numb feet. Wonderful shoes for me!

Got these for my elderly Mom. The soles are heavy enough for us to safely walk on a paved garden path or out to the mail box and supportive enough that I don't worry about her tripping. I would not use them for anyone who needs to walk significant distances or who is performing exercise. They are flexible enough, and the opening is wide enough that I can get them on her feet without difficulty or discomfort. Highly recommended for this population.

My elderly mother was having a difficult time finding a slipper that fit and provided support and would be secure on her foot. I took a chance, based on the reviews, and purchased these for her for Christmas. She loves them! They are comfortable and nice looking and I don't worry about her tripping or sliding out of them. Definitely recommend.

This was bought for a woman in a nursing home. As a result, two other persons asked for this address so as to purchase it. Very comfortable and easy to wear.

My 90-year-old mom is very hard to fit because of bunions. I bought these for her in the wide width, and they are perfect. In black they look more like shoes than slippers.
