Great shoe I've been wearing Merrels, this style for8 years ,it is my go to shoe for walking working and just hanging out. Had many years of being on my feet in nursing and now I am in direct sales use them when I am out making deliveries.Love them and thank you for the opportunity to write a review.

More than a decade ago I got my first pair of Barrado shoes. My first ones were silver! I have had many black, brown and red ones too, over the years. I cannot tell you how delighted I am that this shoe has made a comeback!

Zappos is a wonderful source. Items are delivered in a remarkably short time and returns are easy.

I bought a first pair about 15 years ago and wore them to death. Mine was in tan and went nicely with dresses and summer cloth in general. I could dress well and walk comfortably at the same time. Sadly by now my shoes are falling apart and until now I never saw this model anywhere, until now. An almost a miracle, I call it almost because of lack of choice of colors. They fit me true to size, look great with summer dresses because they are light in construction. Very comfortable. Strangely enough, they are sold in Australia in all colors and miraculously in USA at least in these two. I got 2 pairs in black. Still thinking if I will keep the silver one. I am not into sparkly. By the way, I still have my old pair.

I am thrilled to find the Merrell Barrado in silver! I have worn out my black Enlighten Glitz Breeze shoes! They are great for golfing, power shopping, and everything else. They are comfortable with a nice rubber tread. They are easy to clean and lightweight.

I have been wearing Merrell Barrados for 4-5 years. They are light and flexible but have plenty of arch support at the same time. I love the way they look because they shape themselves to my feet.

One of my favorite pairs of shoes ever. These are my 2nd pair in this style. Merrell offered it a few years ago, and I literally wore the writing off of the shoes where they zip. I bought this exclusive-to-Zappos style in both colors. The black pair fits slightly smaller than the white/silver pair.

I called Merrell to locate this shoe and was told it was discontinued. The lady from Merrell 'googled' the model # and found it at Zappos for me,even making sure they had my size. When I went to Zappos.com I was able to quickly locate the right shoe and order it in my size in less than 2 minutes. They arrived promptly and are perfect. Success!

I can't live without these shoes. This is my second pair. I wore the first pair for well over a year. These guys offer light weight comfort for walking and they look so great with casual dress, i.e. jeans, leggings, slim legged trousers. Go ahead. Give 'em a try!

I was thrilled to find these shoes, since they are the same style as I've worn for years, and now can't find. They fit the same and seem updated from the old version. Comfortable and compatible with any style.

These Merrells are as close as I could get to an older, discontinued style. They fit well and will hopefully see me through miles of urban hiking! The top of the heel was a little stiff at first and I worried it would blister, but after a few wears, it has become more comfortable.

I first bought these shoes in 2009. I certainly got my money's worth and they are still in pretty good condition. I plan to buy another pair just to freshen up a bit, although I doubt you can tell that the ones I have now are about six years old. I have been waiting for them to fall apart, but so far, so good. I have worn them in every season! In the spring and fall, I wear them about three times a week for all these years! They are great shoes!

I love these shoes! This is my fourth pair of similar shoes, though every couple of years Merrill updates this model and gives it a new name. If you need a sporty shoe you can wear without socks (or with light socks) with jeans, sporty pants or shorts to walk around in and be active - this is the shoe for you. I even wore them every day on a recent 5 day trip to Disneyland - and they were practically new out of the box and they were comfortable and kept me going with my 6 year old the entire trip. These would be perfect shoes to take along on your summer vacation to Europe, etc. Highly recommended!

I love this design, I bought this same shoe 12 months ago and wanted to get a spare pair in case they stopped making them. I have wide flat feet an they are really comfy, I can happily wear them all day, plus they are feather light!

This is my second pair. I really love these shoes. They are so comfortable and I get compliments on them all the time!

I love, love, love this particular sneaker style by Merrell! Have at least 8 different colors. They are so light on your feet! This particular style has not been made for the past few years, so when I saw them at Zappos as an exclusive, I had to buy them. If they have my size I plan on getting an extra pair.

Wow! So happy to find this shoe! Bought it when Merrill first "offered them." Best shoe ever! Worn the "old" pair until they are frazzled, but still comfortable (just couldn't toss them!). Delighted to find my "best friend shoe" online. Thank you!

These are the BEST shoes I ever owned. It took me 7 months to find these again because they were stolen from me last Summer out of my workout bag. I searched everywhere and finally found them. I even bought them in 3 different colors because I never want to be without them again. The are so comfortable. I LOVE THEM! The only thing is the run about 1/2 size too big for instance I wear an 8.5 but the 8 fits perfect the 8.5 feels like a 9.

I have several old pairs of the Merrell Barrado that I love. These fit me well and are lightweight and easy to zip. I am 62 years old and have neuropathy in my feet and hands. These shoes are lightweight and easy to get off and on. I can also remove the insole and insert a more supportive insole. I am returning them because of the color, I was expecting more of a silvery color. The mesh makes the shoe appear very white.

I love these shoes but couldn't find them anywhere so was thrilled to find them here on Zappos! I wear them with jeans and dresses! Love them.

I absolutely LOVE this shoe. I have several pairs of Merrells and this has become a quick favorite. Lightweight, no blisters or breakin period and very stylish. I should note that I marked this as true to size but even though I wear size 6 in dress shoes, I always buy 6.5 for sneakers and that is what worked for me here.

I had ordered these shoes a few years ago and love them. I was so happy to see you had them again in black and silver. I hope other colors are available soon. They are comfortable and stylish. Thanks, Carole

My second pair, completely wore the others out. Have been looking for them again and was so excited to see Zappos has them.

I had four pairs of the original Barrados; I finally HAD to toss them out. The difference between the old and new is marked. The sizing is off and the shoe is stiffer, especially where the leather is placed on the toe area. That being said, I ordered a larger size and have been wearing the black ones for about a month now. They are great! I wear custom orthotics with a 1/4" lift in one shoe and have always had trouble wearing a light athletic shoe but the combination of a 1/2 size larger and the stiffer fabric holds them in place. The soft material In the last Barradosl felt good but the orthotic shifted from side-to-side when I walked fast. So, my ratings are based upon the new sizing and I'm ordering another black and the silver!

I own several pair of Merrell shoes; this is my second Merrell shoe in a similar style, and I really like it. It fits close to the foot, but is in no way uncomfortable or binding, as it gives as you walk. It easily accommodated my custom orthotics. This is a very comfortable shoe, and very stylish. I would always recommend Merrell for being true to size, and for the ability to wear your own orthotics.
