Customer Reviews Ray-Ban RB4068 Polarized

In the beginning I was very disappointed. I received my Ray Bans negligently packaged and it was obviously someone's return. When I opened my Zappos box, there was a smaller white box inside which contained the sunglasses and no bubbled plastic to protect it from bumps during transit. I opened it and it was the sunglasses. During this time I was wondering why it was packaged that way because it should have been in its original logo'd Ray Ban box. Further disappointment followed when I opened the sunglasses case and found the sunglasses did not have the round Ray Ban Polarized trademark sticker on the left lense, it also didn't have the plastic sheath on one of the temples to protect it from friction contact with the other temple, and it didn't include the lens cloth and instruction pamphlet. It was either a reject or someone's return! I immediately called customer service and complained about it, and she agreed it shouldn't have been shipped that way. I told her I've been a loyal VIP customer for years and have purchased Ray Bans for my family in the past and never have I received them packaged that way. As she was taking down the information I was giving her, she was already entering the replacement to be shipped out that same day and immediately emailed me the return shipping label. I returned it the very next day (yesterday) and I received the replacement today, very pleased this time because it was packaged that was obviously brand new and not questionably a used item or someone's return, and it had the bubbled plastic to cushion the merchandise in the box. I'm giving my review a 4 star instead of a 5 star because of the initial incident but customer service immediately rectified it. I hope Zappos becomes aware of this and will make every effort to prevent this kind of incident from ever happening.
