A nice looking shoe, but too narrow- even though I ordered the wide width. It was more like a regular medium width.

I am very pleased with these for comfort, style, look, leather, and color. If I ever need another pair I would definitely get them. Ever since I have purchased these shoes I have been wearing them every day. They're great!

Width and comfort are great; quality is good for the price, but beware, the sizing runs a little small. I usually wear a size 6, but ended up with a 6 1/2.

I have been wanting a pair of bass weejuns for a long time and have always found them too narrow. The Casell comes with the option of wide width, which fit me perfectly. I've worn them for long periods, no break in needed! The price is pretty low, I'm pretty impressed with the quality and style. They look fantastic with or without socks, great with skinny jeans, skirts and dressy trousers. I'm bringing them on vacation with me as we'll be doing a lot of walking and I need something stylish and versatile! Love these shoes!

Great shoe. A little stiff at first, but breaking in easily so the comfort rating increases as the shoe is worn.

Bring back the penny loafer! These shoes are classic. When I first got them, they were so tight that I thought I'd be sending them back. Lucky for me that I never got around to it, because once they stretched, they became my most comfortable shoes in the closet. I live in these things. They just slip on like melting butter. Love them!

Bought these for my wife for Christmas, they are nice quality and true to some other comments they have a narrow fit which is what my wife needed. The color is a little darker than expected but worked just fine. Zappos, as always, was amazing and remains the customer service benchmark against which all other companies should measure themselves.

I bought these shoes for my daughter's school uniform. They are well made as I would expect a Bass shoe to be. We purchased the wide because Bass is notorious for shoes that are too narrow. They fit very well.

I keep a pair of penny loafers in my wardrobe at all times. I particularly like the burgundy shade to match any color casual attire. Bass is my preference because they are durable, true to size, comfortable fitting and neat on my feet.these are a very good shoe.

These are perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. I wear a 6 in heels, 6.5 in most sneakers and running shoes. I ordered a 6.5 M and they are perfect. I wore these in grade school and love that they are back. They are so cute and very comfortable! Flats are good for me to wear to work and I love that they are different from your typical flat style. They really feel like a sneaker. I am very excited about these shoes! I might even put a penny in them!

Shoe looks great and well worth it. Order half size larger than you need. I ordered a wide and need to send it back. If you need a wide, then order it WW as it is narrow.

This is a very comfortable and good looking shoe once you wear it for a day or two to soften the leather. It adjusts wonderfully to your foot shape. I had a problem with a thin finish flaking off. I think it was a protective coating which is now gone and the shoe is fine.

Sadly, while these shoes would have been fine, they did not fit. The W width is supposed to be a D, but was much less than a D. I'd say it was more like a B. I could not even get my foot into the shoe. I bought a pair of Rockport loafers in another color, which were labeled W and were said to be a C width. Those shoes I was able to squeeze into. Because my feet are so wide (EE), I am used to buying shoes slightly too long and as wide as I can get, and then having them stretched. The Bass Casell look a little bit flimsier than I would like in an ideal world, but they would have been fine if the W width hadn't been a misnomer.

Sizing is way off. The D felt like a regular width. The length was short. I am technically a 7.5 and when I wear an 8 I have a little room in the length, but in this 8 my big toe was painfully jammed to the front of the shoe.

Perfect, classic loafers. I love the color, the styling. I would agree with most reviewers that they run a little narrow, so I ordered a wide, while I wear a medium. I first ordered an 8.5W but it was too big. I normally were a 7.5-8, but they were too big so I sent them back and got an 8W. Perfect and they weren't any breaking in issues either. Comfortable from the first wearing.

the penny loafers are very special to me . the loafers and the saddle shoes were the cat's meow when i grew up in memphis. so i am very happy to be able to wear them again. plus they are very comfortable. i have arthritis really bad in my feet and the loafers give and move with my feet. janie massey

After searching high and low for a regular black loafer in local stores, I finally found what I was looking for here. I ordered a medium and wide width of this shoe, knowing that I would return one. I definitely needed the wide so I proceeded to return the other. My return shipping was a breeze using the same box the order arrived in and it was promptly processed without a problem. Yay for Zappos!

I love these shoes. They’re nice enough to wear to the office, but also look cute with jeans. They take a little while to break in, but are extremely comfortable once the leather softens up a bit. They are very well-made. Excellent quality, especially for the price.

My experience with Zappos was great! This group treats customers very well. I called in to return the shoes for a different size and within a couple of days the new ones arrived! I am only waiting for the return label to send the other shoes back. I would work with Zappos again in a minute!

It was easy to order from Zappos. My order arrived in a few days even though it was the Chrismas season. I was pleased with the loafer and the service.
