I purchased this shoe for my aunt who wears a wide shoe, has arthritis and is diabetic. What a great shoe for her! The extra wide width is truly wide; the long velcro straps are actually long enough for her to close easily; and the shoe is very comfortable for her feet. Originally, I purchased the shoe in black and then ordered a second pair in white.

This is my first pair of Hush Puppies, and I liked them immediately. They are well made and cushioned inside, overall they are a pleasure to wear. I am looking for other styles in this brand, but it is a bit limited. These shoes are excellent.

I got these for my mother, who has very swollen and sore feet, and can't easily bend to get her shoes on, least of all close them. At first she said "Oh no - these look like orthopedic shoes." But when she tried them on (they were easy to get on), they fit very well and were easy to secure the straps. Immediately she said that these are the most comfortable shoes she's ever had. They are easily adaptable for swelling feet because of the velcro straps! She loves them.

I ordered these shoes for my 95 year old Mom because she has had trouble walking in the shoes she had. These have worked out just great. She feels very confident walking in these shoes.

I bought these shoes for my 87 year old aunt who is very hard to fit. They were perfect for her. Besides calling them her "old lady shoes," she loves them. They are comfortable and easy to put on which are very important things to her. I bought two different pairs at the time. I am surprised that the least expensive pair (Power Walker II) fit her the best. She is happy. I am happy.

Comfortable shoe for hard to fit feet - I wear 10WW shoe because I have a bunion. These power walkers are SO COMFORTABLE right out of the box. No break in time. The toe box is roomy and high enough for wiggle room. The velcro straps allow for a perfect fit and the inside of the shoe has bounce. Very good buy. One thing to note: these have a reflective disc at the back of the shoe.

I bought these shoes for my sister who has severe bunions. She just called to say her feet haven't felt this good in years.

These shoes are awesome! I have arthritis, bunions, hammertoes and very wide feet. These shoes are totally lined, soft and comfortable from the second I put them on. Would recommend to anyone who has problem feet. Way to go Zappos!

I bought these shoes for my mother who is a young 95 years old. Since life is getting a little harder for her, like tying shoes, these Hush Puppies with the velcro straps have proved to to make her life a little easier. She loves how they fit and feel. Also the fact that they aren't heavy. She was so happy that I found them. Thanks Zappos!

I have duck feet, I wear WW shoes. With these shoes I can wiggle my toes and not feel pressure. (In comparison, New Balance WW shoes touch on my 2nd-to-pinkie toenail, even before wiggling my toes.) These Hush Puppies have a nice roomy toe box. On the downside, the velcro on the straps doesn't go as far as it might, so the shoe can only be fastened to a certain tightness.

Even though these shoes felt comfortable, I should have paid more attention to the comments on how it looked. It truly does look like an old lady shoe. Nothing pretty about it.

I like the Velcro for quickly and easily getting the shoes on and off. It's a comfortable shoe. It fit well and the arch support is OK.

I needed a pair of shoes for a trip where I knew I would be walking a lot. These shoes fit the bill. I did have to add my own inserts. I also wanted shoes without laces for the convenience with airport security. These are not a stylish shoe, but they are very comfortable.

Bought these for my 92 year old diabetic Grandma. They are exactly as described. Not too pretty...but they are what she needs. Since she can't get out, the Zappos return/exchange policy is so incredibly helpful!

This shoe is a comfortable alternative to more expensive walking shoes and solves the problem of shoe laces constantly coming untied.

I look for every possible excuse to wear these comfortable, perfectly fitting shoes! It is like walking on Cloud 9! They were shipped immediately and from the moment I tried them on, I knew these were the shoes for me. I wear a WW and these are roomy but not over-sized; just curved to the foot and supportive. I will order more as they they become available in my hard-to-fit size 10 WW. These shoes are the best!

With the arthritis in my hip it was difficult to find a shoe easy to put on and off, as well as one that was wide enough in the toe box. You shipped promptly. The first pair I ordered was too small; the second pair was perfect! A pleasure ordering from Zappos! Will use your site again in the future.

Very comfortable! The only issue I have is that the top velcro strap is not long enough. For me, I have it attached only by about 1/2 inch or less of the strap. Softer foot bed than Skechers.

I bought these shoes for my 89 year old mother who is no longer able to tie the laces on her walking shoes. When she got her new shoes she just raved about the convenience of the velcro fasteners, but she really loved how cushy and comfortable they are; now she can hardly wait to take her daily walk. In fact, she wears the shoes all day long!
