I bought these boots for a trip to NY, NY in the February and they definitely served their purpose. They looked great with bootleg cut jeans, skinny jeans, dresses and skirts. They kept my feet dry when it rained and very warm. After walking all day in them for about 3 days the balls of my feet hurt so I purchased some inserts and that helped greatly, just enough room for the insert and thick socks too. I love these boots.

Love these boots! Felt snug at first, was going to re-order wide, but they didn't have them, so I walked around a while at home and felt they were sufficiently stretching out. Perfect cross between a roper and riding boot which means I can dress them up or down with ease.

I love these boots; they are perfect with my casual lifestyle, jeans, skirts, dresses all look great with this very comfy boot. I have muscular calves and tender feet but these boots fit very well. Love Zappos!

These boots are perfect...they have great support, they look great with my jeans and also casual skirts...and waterproof for hiking. What could be better?!

These boots are fantastic! They are very practical for our long rainy season, but they also look great and I get compliments every time I wear them. I love the "real" treads on the bottom & the fact that they are waterproof. The fit works great for me -- I got my usual size & do not feel like the toe box is long like others have said in their reviews. Many boots seem too roomy in the calves for me but these are perfect. Good arch support too. I've worn these a lot since getting them and they've held up great so far. I live in the country and can be pretty hard on footwear!

This boot absolutely runs half a size larger; they will also stretch a bit with wear. That being said, these are excellent everyday cold-weather boots. They\'re warm and comfy, an overall good investment.

These boots are great: the mix I was looking for of stylish and practical, not too heavy on the foot but not flimsy either. A bit tight at first, but they adjusted quickly. The toes are indeed ridiculously long, but I don't care. I have fairly wide calves (16", size 8), and adjusted the top buckle to its loosest hole, and they fit fine.

Great Boots! I have worn a pair of short Timberland boots for years and loved them. Hesitated to buy any others because I needed warmth, traction, weather-resistance and of course, style. These are every bit as nice as my old boots, if not better.

Great Boots! I just got my boots. Have been searching for boots like this for over 2 years. I love them. They are super soft. They do not pinch. The tan is a great color. Now I want the black. I'm a size 8.5 & decided to get this size due to other reviews. They fit great with room, so I didn't need a size 9. It is a great boot to buy.

I love these boots! I love these boots so much I would buy another pair now if they were available (and I've only had mine for 6 weeks). They were comfortable from the first time I put them on and they offer better arch support than nearly any other shoe I own. They are close-fitting with heavy socks. And they look fantastic!

Best Boots Ever!!!!!! LOVE!!!! I bought the brown pair, and loved them so much I had to have the black as well. Other reviews seem to complain about the narrow width and calf- it makes me wonder just what their legs look like! I have a very large muscley calf (16"!) and usually can't wear tall boots at all, but the gusset on these allowed for a lot of stretch- I was comfortable in them even through my last pregnancy. I have very wide feet and usually have to wear a (too long for me) size ten, but these seem to be wider width than other brands. I got the medium width, and fit happily into a 9.5. They're not quite dressy enough for the office, but are comfortable the whole way to and from - the perfect "commute boot". These look great with my suits and dresses, a much better alternative to the sneakers-and-suit look that we working city girls have to resort to for comfort. They are my weekend staples as well, and are great for walking around the city and running after my two sons in the park. I have worn these every day for more than two years, and they are still as comfortable as when I first put them on. The brown has a more weathered look than the black, but that's probably because I wear them more often. I honestly can't recommend these highly enough- I will probably be stockpiling them in five years when mine finally die!

Great boots! Warm, comfortable for walking and great looking. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase! Size runs a tad large. which is great for wearing a heavy sock with a winter boot. Got lots of compliments on the look too!

Great boot! Get compliments on these all the time! Big rain storm - lots of puddles in the yard. Wore them and they are waterproof. Comfy and so stylish! True to size.

Just what I wanted! I love the look of this boot-not too rocker and looks great with skinny jeans. The leather is high quality and very warm and comfortable. I got the buckskin and it's a beautiful color.

I wish these had fit - I tried on four different sizes (9, 9.5, 9W, 9.5W) and none of them were quite right; I have wide feet, so the wide sizes fit in the foot part, but the leg part was too large in the wide sizes. Just because my feet are wide doesn't mean I have large calves! Very unfortunate, as these are absolutely beautiful and obviously well made. Just too narrow for me.

Great knock-around boot - These boots fit great from the get-go (I wear a 7 in Charles David heels and an 8 in Adidas/Asics running shoes and the 7.5 boot was perfect). They are warm, truly waterproof, and very comfortable. I have 'athletic' calves, so the boot is snug, but does not pinch.

Perfect boot - Fits my foot perfectly everywhere! Hugs my heel (rare for me in boots) heel doesn't slip. Hugs my calf comfortably yet have enough room for jeans tucked in. Looks great with jeans over also. I only wish my south Louisiana climate were cooler. Needs to be cold out for me to be comfy in these fav. new boots.

Nice! I like these boots. I've worn them several times and so far so good. I have average to wide calves and these boots fit great. I've worn them over leggings and under jeans and both ways work fine. The calf is also adjustable, although I haven't needed it yet. I would say they're pretty versatile.

I ordered the 9.5 orignially and it seemed pretty long. I was okay with this at first as I go back and forth between 9.5 and 10 in all shoes/boots. The toe is pointed as opposed to a real rounded toe like rockport anna boot, so it allow people who are between sizes like me to stick with the 9.5. I ultimately returned and went with the 9.0 WIDE like another reviewer did and really happy with this decision. Boots fit perfectly and with my foot sitting right in the boot I have good arch support. Nice boot with smooth leather. These boots do run big.

Just got my boots today and wow are they narrow. I loved the color and the rustic look but must return them and order the wide. I have very narrow feet but these boots are even too tight for me. They are beautiful and well made so I am hoping that getting the wide will do the trick.

Everyone was right. Get the half size larger and a Wide if your foot isn't narrow. This is a nice sturdy boot, but not what I expected. It's very 'biker chic' and not something I could wear to work except on Fridays. They are super well made for cold, wet places with great traction. So if you need a snow boot, I suggest them. They are very well made!
