These boots are exactly what I wanted! I have been wearing them ever since the arrived. I take a size 9, and have somewhat of a full calf, no problem with fit. In fact they get even more flexible as you wear them. They are a buff leather, and are very well made. Great walking surface, no teetering here. Can you tell I love them?

Love this boot! It is the most comfortable riding boot I have tried. I walked all day in the city and felt great. True to size. And I love the style as they are rugged looking--more like a real riding boot. They are great with jeans and fit close enough on leg for skirts, too. Great for winter weather conditions without looking like snow/rain boot; and best of all, my husband thinks I look hot! ;)

I loved the style of thes boots and they fit perfectly around my calves which are a little muscular. Unfortunately, the width was too narrow for my bunion, which rubbed, and I have to return. Otherwise, very cute, well made boot.

Boot is nice looking and well made. Definitely runs small and narrow. The top is snug around my 17" calf and a tad baggy around the ankle. But, will definitely be great this winter.

These boots are super cute & comfy. I ordered my usual size 9 and still had some wiggle room for my toes as it does run a bit long and narrow as stated in the other reviews. It does not go well with regular socks, so I wear mine with knee-high stockings. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase!

Love these boots! can't wait to wear them. Very sleek & stylish. H2O proof is definitely a plus. 1st time ever a Timberland boot was true to size. I take size 8 & was going to get 8.5 but out of stock, so I had to have them. Happy I did! Size is fine & definitely room for socks. These should not hurt my feet first few times wearing (like all my other Timberlands). Love Zappos customer service. 5 stars!

Amazing! Fit almost perfectly. I would be OK with a little less wiggle room in the calf, but they're about as good as it gets when you have size 10 feet and normal/small-ish calves.

These boots are fabulous! I am not sure what's up with the reviews that say the calf is too narrow...I have wide calves and I was worried about them fitting but they fit perfectly with room for skinny jeans even! These are comfortable and waterproof, rugged but still nice enough to wear with a dress. I love them. They may run a little big. I take between a 9 and a 9.5; I ordered the 9.5 wide and they are perfect in width but a teeny bit long. It doesn't bother me enough to return them but I could have gotten away with the 9 for sure.

Love, love LOVE these boots! If you are often between sizes, go with the smaller size. Waterproof, warm in snow, and still good-looking to wear out in the evening. They stretch some, so don't be alarmed if they are snug at first. An outstanding choice if you are faced with a lot of wet and/or cold weather.

Compliments and comfort! I have had these boots for a year and a half. I wore them during school when I had to walk around campus, and they were great. Very comfortable and stylish. I never slipped on any snow or ice. What surprised me was this Winter I wore them to the office! I wore them over skinny black corduroys and they looked dressed up. Such a rugged boot, but still dressy! Amazing. People compliment me on them every time I wear them, men and women. Very much worth the price.

I purchased this boot as a replacement for the same pair I had, which, after over 3 years, had a zipper which "jumped off the track" on one of them. Not able to be repaired by the local cobbler, I am grateful to find them again on Zappos. These boots are comfortable, attractive and waterproof. A perfect combination. Get many compliments but more importantly, they stand up to regular, frequent use. They are my "go to" boot time and time again.

I have a wide calf and these are the first boots that I have been able to zip up that go to my knee without scrunching down that we're designated as wide calf. The leather is thick but soft. I wear these to my warehouse and they help on concrete. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable and stylish - The boot is a little tight on my calf, but the sole is very comfortable.

Nice boots, however they are going back and not true to size, even after sizing up and ordering wide it was still much too tight. This is my 2nd and last attempt with Timberland boots. Nice style and nice leather but very poor sizing. The circumference is not accurate either and it is smaller than stated.

The shoe style is more like that of a cowboy boot or work boot, with a more of a pointed toe. It's not fashion. But it serves my person of walking from my car to my office when it's wet outside. I thought I would wear then with skirts and dresses, but they don't quite zipper at the calf, so I have to slouch them down a bit, and then there's the cowboy boot factor. I would recommended these boots if you were looking for more substantial footwear when it is wet and yucky out than cheap rain boots.

Couldn't get the boot completely on. It seems to be cut narrow at the top of the foot and with the high heel I couldn't get the boots on. They have great quality and seem like they are very well made.

So disappointed! I loved the look of this boot and was so excited to try it on. The fact that it was waterproof sounded great. However, it's incredibly uncomfortable. First, I would recommend purchasing a 1/2 size up if you like to wear socks at all. Secondly, I found the strap around the heel to rub on the inside as I walked. The boot is pretty tight around the calf and I don't have very large calves. I am sadly going to be returning these. They are really nice until you actually go to wear them.

Love these boots! They run a bit long and narrow, perfect for my long, narrow feet! They have great treads and are waterproof, so you can look stylish in bad weather. Good quality for a reasonable price.

I just received my Timberland boots; I couldn't wait to try them on since I loved the way they looked. I figured they probably won't fit since I like them so much and would be disappointed but...they fit! They fit perfectly and unlike the Keen boots I ordered - these zipped up quite easily even with jeans tucked into them. I was very happy with them. The leather is nice and they are waterproof which I wanted specifically so I could wear them in the snow and rain. I just tried them in the snow walking my dogs and they were great. Great traction and easy to walk in the snow. I am so glad I read the other reviews since that always seems to be the best advice I can find about any shoes on Zappos. I love it! Love these boots and you will too!

I bought these boots for my teen daughter for her winter trip to Germany. Since she will be doing alot of walking I had to return them even though were cute because they run narrow.

I love these boots! But after trying them on, I understand the comments about the size better. The width is normal/slightly narrow, but the shape of the toe area is long, providing extra room. I ordered my normal size 9.5, and will return for 9 regular or 9 wide (to give room for a thicker sock or tight)...if they come back in stock! Fingers crossed.

Oh how I tried. I am living in Germany at the moment and was in desperate need of WP black boots and fell in love with these immediately. Alas, they were out of stock in my size/color so I ordered alternates (lots of alternates). Two days later, I got an email that my size was back in stock. I ordered. I tried on. I despaired. I wear a regular 9. They were so long in the toe box. So then I ordered and 8.5. And they were perfect in the length but so tight in the width I broke a sweat trying them on. I love Zappos and hope they won't hold my return of 10, yes 10 pairs of boots with no purchase against me. I have returned everything and am returning to Germany without my fab new boots. Crushed.

I can't get over how amazing this boot is, because it is so stylish, but is also tough. I always get compliments on it. Can't believe it's waterproof, but it is! It is a little fitted compared to most boots but you can still fit them over your jeans. These are well worth the price because they are durable and you can wear them with so many different kinds of outfits.
