I bought these over a year ago and they've finally died. I wore these almost every day at work. They withstood cleaning cages, and wear for 9 hours plus. The last few weeks their support and waterproofing have diminished. But from day 1 they fit perfectly; no blisters or rubbing, which is what I absolutely love about Keen.

So far, so good with the Keen Genoa Peak WP, which I ordered 1/2 size larger than normal. Arch support is barely moderate, and I will likely order Spenco insoles soon. I bought these because I need waterproof shoes for rainy days at my garden center retail job. I’m in constant motion, on my feet over concrete flooring, and want sturdy foot protection from carts, cinder blocks, and heavy potted plants. The Genoa Peak WP fits the bill, but is not as perfect for my foot as the Keen Voyageur which I wear for sunny work days; I’m on my second pair of those, and absolutely love ‘em! In the Genoa Peak, I would prefer a little more cushioning and arch support. Still, they are WAY better than sneakers, and I get through my work day with dry feet and no foot pain. I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis, so good shoes are worth the investment. Before settling on the Genoa Peak, I also tried Keen’s Obsidian and Targhee II. Liked the lighter feel of the Obsidian, which is similar to the Genoa Peak, but thought the stiffer sides of the Genoa Peak would hold up better to work demands. Liked the Targhee II footbed best (it matches Voyageur), but unfortunately, it slipped terribly in the heel. Hoping that by the end of another landscaping season I am as thrilled with the long-lasting performance of the Genoa Peak as the Voyageur!

Bought these for my 9 year old daughter. She has not taken them off. She loves them. Spend the extra money for the real thing. The quality is excellent and they will last a long time. Zappos does a great job making the whole process effortless.

Love these shoes! Roomy toe box, lighter than any hiking shoe ever, waterproof, good looking. If you go barefoot a lot in the summer and your toes like to spread out, you should try these. There is nothing pushing my toes together and it’s like I’m barefoot. If I could, I’d buy 5 pairs in case they stop making them. Light as a running shoe, sturdy and with good traction as a hiking shoe. Perfect! I’m keen on Keen. Used to be a Vasque diehard, but they’re making them heavier and narrower nowadays.

I love them! Very comfy. I wear a 7, but in Keens I’ve always been a 7.5.

Comfortable, good looking, low rise hiker. Love the blue and grey combo. Runs a little snug and stiff, but has excellent support.

I am very happy with these shoes. They are warm, so far also waterproof, and warm, as promised. The size was exact too, not too small not too big. And they also look good. I was afraid they may look clumpy, but they really don't! And also the delivery and customer service at Zappos was excellent! I am 100% satisfied! Thank you!

These are wonderful walking shoes. They have lots of support, but aren't too heavy. I was looking for good walking shoes in wet and muddy conditions. They are sturdier than many running shoes and these are perfect for that.

I love these shoes. I wore them for the first time on a canyoning/rappelling trip through the canyons and waterfalls of Costa Rica near the Arenal Volcano. We were soaking wet the entire time and my shoes not only dried relatively quickly after the trip, but they did not smell at all (unlike those of my friend!). The shoes are incredibly comfortable, sturdy, and (as others have noted) look even better than pictured. I have since worn them on other hiking/water trips and continue to be very pleased with my purchase.

I love these shoes! There is no break in time required. These are great and comfortable pair of shoes out of the box. The first pair had what seemed to be a defect in the tongue and it was applying pressure to the top of my left foot. Zappos replaced with a new pair and I've had no issues.

I love this shoe! I have very hard-to-please feet. Because of a lingering stress fracture, I need a strong sole and a wide toe box. I'd found the Keen Hermosa to be a very comfortable shoe and I looked for a similar shoe that could be laced up for long walks. Thanks to Zappos' referral, I was led from the Hermosa to the Genoa Peak. It fit like the proverbial glove. No break-in time needed. I plan to wear it for a trip to Europe in the spring. Not as glamorous as a smart pair of pumps, but I'm into comfort over appearance!

I bought these shoes as an alternative to sneakers in the winter. They are my first pair of Keen shoes. Loved them right out of the box. No break-in required. Very comfortable and warmer than sneakers. I wear them to walk my dog every day. Would definitely purchase Keens again. Price a little high, but these are excellent quality shoes.

Love these shoes. They are comfortable, good looking and great for knocking around outside. Very good support. Had to go up 1/2 size as they were a bit tight when wearing medium weight hiking socks. I have many styles of Keen shoes/sandals and they have all fit true to size, so I was surprised I had to go up 1/2 size. However the exchange process went extremely smoothly and I received my new shoes in less time than a Netflix turnaround (even with a holiday in the mix)! Zappos rocks!

\r\nI live in the country and purchased these for tromping in the woods.\r\nHowever, they are so comfortable, I find I wear them almost everyday at home. I love the wide toe space and good arch support. I am becoming a real Keen fan. \r\nBe sure to order 1/2 size up and you\'ll love them!

These are my new favorite weekend shoes. Great for walking around town in the rain, and even better for light hiking. I\'ve walked through deep puddles and my feet have been completely dry at the end of the day. Like my other Keens, these fit my wide feet well, especially in the toe. As with my other Keens, I ordered 1/2 size up and they fit well. I would definitely recommend these.

Love these shoes. Comfortable out of the box. Ordered a half-size up (as with sneakers) and am glad I did. The sole is a bit stiffer than I expected, but it turns out that that's okay. I've used them hiking in the woods, a little mountain hiking, and lots of walking. My feel are happy in them, and several people have asked about them because they liked the way they look. The colors are subtle and nice. On a 1 to 10, I give them a 9.5!

This shoe is true to fit. I bought it for my pregnant wife who desperately needed arch support. She loves it so much, and this is our second pair of shoes from Keen that we've bought. Now we are Keen diehards. They make some real comfortable shoes. The first Keens we got are boots and this is the first in running shoes that we considered. You get your patented wide toe base and the toe guard, and also the waterproof Keen dry interior. All in all, the product is well made, sturdy and provides great protection and support in rainy Seattle, and for a pregnant woman. Highly recommend it. Oh yeah, Zappos is the only way to shop for shoes.

These shoes are fantastic! True to size and comfortable on the first wear. For me that was a 6.5 mile hike around the base of Uluru in central Australia (four hours after getting off a plane from Boston-LA-Sydney). Hiked a further 5 miles the next day and climbed a ridgeline two days later. No blisters, no worries. Highly recommend this shoe.

The shoes fit true to size. I do a lot of trail walking and found them to be very comfortable, but yet sturdy. I would definitely order them again.

First of all, I am a "Keen" fan. I have a rather flat foot so the lack of a prominent arch in most Keens fits my foot well. The Genoa Peak is no exception. Good all purpose choice. Runs true to size. However, it isn\'t quite as wide as some Keens which is good for me as I have a narrow foot. This will be a good travel shoe for walking especially on cobblestone on return trips to Europe. Rugged enough for outdoor events yet nice enough to wear inside as well.
I'd also recommend:
Merrels if they fit your foot. The arch in Merrels does not fit my foot but the styles are great.

The Keen Genoa Peak shoe has a comfortable toe box which allows space for arthritic toes to relax. The shoe is generous across the ball of the foot; there are no pressure points, even for post surgical bunionectomy sites. The shoe offers excellant toe protection from stubbing accidents. Sturdy and breathable enough to take to Africa. So comfortable that I did not have to break them in! Two thumbs way up on this product!

Great comfort! Good traction... These are my go-to shoes for winter in metro-Boston. They are great on icy sidewalks and are waterproof enough for sloshing around our constant muck. I find them more comfortable and supportive than any of my other shoes. They also are nicer looking than big boots.

GREAT SHOE! Ok ladies let me just tell you...this shoe is great. I have a lot of foot trouble. A stress fracture in my right foot left my second toe paralyzed and it has hurt to hike for about 8 years. I have many other hiking shoes, Keens included and there has not been a shoe that I could hike in without pain for years and years...till I got this shoe. My boyfriend gave it to me for Christmas and we went hiking the next day and my feet felt GREAT!! I just kept saying "This is the first time my feet have not hurt in 8 years when I am hiking," over and over to my boyfriend. GET THEM!! I love, love, love these shoes!!!
