Finally! A walking shoe that fits perfectly, is comfortable and accommodates my orthotics easily. I love the velcro straps, so much easier and faster than shoelaces. I bought 9 pairs of shoes before I found this one. I read a lot of reviews on the Brooks Addiction and bought the first pair, with shoelaces, a half size larger as reviewers recommended and it was way too large so I ordered this one and the one with shoelaces in my correct size and both fit very well. I ordered the V-strap shoe out of curiosity and it's the one I like best in terms of looks so I'm keeping it. Thank you Zappos for allowing me to purchase and return shoes until I found the right one! I tell everyone about Zappos, you rock! (as the younger generation would say). I rated the arch support as excellent, because I believe it would be for most feet; however, due to my severe pronation, I need to wear orthotics.

These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn. They do run a tad small, so I ordered the next 1/2 size larger. Love them!

I like the shoes. This is my third pair. The V-strap make it easy for me because I can not bend down to tie shoelace. I have bunions. I wear shoe inserts. The shoes have extra wide size. It is perfect for people have lots of foot problems. I guarantee you won't feel disappointed of the shoes. Once you try these shoes you don't want to consider other brands.

This is an excellent shoe. It offers a wonderful combination of utility and comfort. The velcro closure works well for those with difficulty with arthritis or just want a quick on/off. The stability and strength of this shoe helps with the wearers sense of balance and support.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. There is plenty of padding for the bottom of the foot. When I walk, there is no pain in the ball of my foot, heel or arch. I bragged so much about this shoe, that my Mom ordered a pair for herself and is very glad she did!

This is the most comfortable pair of sneakers I've ever owned. They fit like they were made especially for me and they have been comfortable right out of the box. Will definitely buy Brooks again, and I appreciate the exceptional service from Zappos!

I have been wearing this exact shoe for about 15 years. I have had trouble with every pair of shoes I ever owned until this shoe.

Three and a half years ago I had foot surgery that went bad. I have tried countless shoes and finally found one that doesn't make my foot act up. I absolutely love them, very good support. I hope they always have them available!

I love this! I get compliments at work because of the way the shoe looks. It is very light and is very comfortable with moderate arch support. I use this at work since I'm on my feet most of the time. It has all the things that I'm looking for. I hate lace up shoes cause I always step on the laces. I love that these shoes are black and they're really easy to clean. I love that it also gives me a little height. It is worth the price.

These were great on my vacation to see all the sights in Atlanta, Georgia, which entailed a lot of walking. I ordered the D width rather than the B width and this gave me lots of room. I have hammer toes and the toe box was roomy enough so that they didn\'t bother me. The only fault I found is with the top velcro straps--they should be at least a half an inch longer.

These are flat out the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I bought them for a 3 week trip to Alaska last year and I've been wearing them almost daily ever since and will buy another pair in a heartbeat. They are comfortable from heel to toe, so soft and cushiony; I've never had a pair like that unless I wear sneakers without heels. They are quite good at being slip resistant although I did slip once; nothing is perfect and I did a lot of hill climbing in Alaska without one slip and up and down a steep hill volunteering at a local shelter walking dogs without a slip; only on my own ramp at home did I slip, but that ramp is dangerous and steep. And it's hard to clean those velcro snaps if I want to nitpick. But all that is so minor. Flat out: best shoes I have ever had. And Zappos customer service is impeccable. They let me return another completely different pair so I could get these. It's those easy returns that keep you coming back.

Great shoes. These are my second pair and not my last. I wear very dramatic orthotics and these shoes fit perfectly! As I also have arthritis in my feet, the ability to adjust the velcro straps over my instep was terrific when I had a flair-up of pain. My podiatrist was pleased that I chose this brand and style.

Great shoes. I need good support for my arches, back & knees. These have helped a great deal. They are mesh so get rather cold in my northern climate.

I just purchased my second pair of Brooks Addiction Walker V-Straps and I also wear the Addiction Walker lace ups. I love them both. I have never worn a more comfortable, durable walker in a 2E width!

Fantastic shoes!! These are the shoes I wear every day. Very comfortable, well made. These are my favorite.

Does the job - This shoe was recommended to me due to pronation, bone spurs in my ankle, and arthritis. My orthotic inserts fit without problem and shoe tightness is easily adjusted. It's one of the few shoes I can wear without ankle pain. I also bought this shoe in white, but the black is great for “blending in” when traveling to Europe.
