I bought this for my husband. He definitely loves it. He wears it every day to work. I bought 2 more MBTs at Zappos! It's pricey, but worth it, especially when it comes to feet. These shoes run 1/2 size smaller.

MBT shoes gave me my life back! Both before and after two Hallux Rigidis Correction surgeries (an arthritis that limits the range of motion of the big toe), walking caused excruciating pain. But today, my MBT boots, shoes and sandals allow me to walk without any pain whatsoever. I've shared the "MBT secret" with several foot-pain suffering friends and they now also sing the praises of MBT. I do wish the marketing department at MBT would realize they could double their dress-shoe sales if they would improve the "business shoe" styling on top to match the genius of the sole they put on the bottom.

Loved my MBT Tariki's! I bought two pairs (Brown and Black) as they were not only on sale, but I also needed something for my gout and foot pain. Didn't know if I did the right thing by doing so, but was very satisfied after wearing them for a few weeks. My foot pain is gone and I feel my posture greatly improved. I loved them so much that I bought a third pair (Chappa) for weekend wear. I am so used to MBT's now that when I wear 'other' shoes I feel awkward. The only bad thing about the Tariki is that when new, the Fibula bone near the ankle hits the side of the shoe. However, this slowly goes away after a few wears. I hope Zappos puts out more sale models for the MBT's as I will definitely purchase more.

No back pain!
I am on my feet all day on asphalt. I have lower back pain constantly. These MBTs are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I was concerned about the price, but they are worth every dollar! I will definitely order another pair.

I bought this shoe for my Dad. My Dad has always had constant foot pain from a bone spur. For years, we have been on a quest to find comfortable shoes or even insoles to ease his pain and help him walk comfortably. As soon as my Dad saw this shoe, he had a huge smile on his face. He could tell that this shoe is very generously padded. As soon as he started walking with it he could tell a difference with his posture as well as his overall feet comfort. Now he can walk for hours without feeling the nagging pain he has always felt. It was well worth the investment for my Dad's well-being.

I first wore the MBT rocker soled shoe on an urban hike through San Francisco from Market to the Fisherman's Wharf area and back. I've had leg and knee problems from a broken pelvis and the MBT design helps with the body's natural alignment. I'm already to order a second pair. They work amazingly well.

I work at a Supermarket walking and standing all day long on hard floors. My achy legs and feet and hips sent me hunting for a pair of shoes. These fit the bill. Looks were not high on my list but the way they rock me forward and helped me to use muscles to balance was remarkable. I have very hard to fit feet. Big, wide and flat... I put these on and in one fell swoop my walking improved greatly. They did take getting used to, in fact I started by wearing them only 1/2 days and working myself up to full days. The pain in my hips disappeared! I would recommend them for anyone who is on their feet!

MBT's are the best for walking! This particular design is casual, but not the sports shoe design like most other MBT’s, so it looks great everywhere except formal occasions. This brand is quite expensive, so if you don't like the "constant motion" feeling, don't buy them. Also, they tend to run a little narrow, so if you have wide feet, buy a half size larger. There is only one width to choose from, which I feel is the one down side to MBT's.

I purchased these shoes for my husband after buying an identical pair in black. Despite owning many pairs of Rockports, Ecco Domanis and Timberland, he now wears nothing else. After wearing these shoes just a few days his calf pain disappeared and his back pain has not come back. Although these shoes are not as attractive, he prefers them given the extraordinary comfort.

I purchased this MBT along with one of MBT's more traditional sports walking shoes. This shoe is less dramatic in its rocking motion than the sport's model. I think that it is a particularly attractive shoe with a more European look and a rich, waxed leather upper. As some others have noted, these shoes, which are board lasted, have a tendency to slip at the heel unless they are snugly laced and tied. I've also noted that both of the MBT shoes I have get particularly hot and, because of a fabric lining, don't breathe as well as shoes with a leather lining. A leather lining would bring this shoe up to a five star rating IMO.

This is a great comfortable shoe with strange overall feel, especially at first. The top of the shoe can be uncomfortable, esp. at the laces but I've noticed that it softens up over time. The shoe is definitely made of high quality materials. I bought this shoe because I have plantar fasciitis; overall it has reduced the pain.

After several frustrating experiences with uncomfortable shoes, I decided to go a little crazy and spend way too much on a pair of these strange looking shoes. To my pleasant surprise, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The padding align is worth the price. I sort of wish this company would manufacture "normal shoes" with these insoles. With that said I am getting used to the strange look of these shoes, because the comfort is worth it. They run a bit wid and seem to have a lot of room above the foot--I need to tighten the laces to keep my foot from "swimming" around too much in the shoes. I do have narrow feet though. I would say try these shoes for sure.
