I got the same size as my usual shoes. They must run big because I could of got a 1/2 size smaller or even a full size. Oh well they look great with a pair of khaki shorts.

My son loves these shoes. He said they felt a little big in size but just wears some no show socks and like I said loves them.

I wanted boat shoes with thicker soles, these fit the bill. The insole is comfortable, too. They are nice looking shoes. They fit true to size. I would recommend them.

Initially, I purchased the Tretorn Otto. They were very comfortable, but they fell apart after wearing them over a couple of weekends. Also, they didn't offer much support. The Sperry is well constructed. It offers more than adequate support. It's not quite as comfortable as the Tretorn, but they need to be broken in a little more. The Sperry will be a shoe that lasts much longer than the Tretorn.

Avoid Sperry canvas shoes.I bought these two summers ago and in no time, the heel had already worn through. Yes, I am hard on shoes that way, but the thickness of the sole is paper thin. So, dummy me thought it was just my hard wear and tear so I bought another pair. Of course, the next pair basically did the same almost immediately. Shortly after that, I bought some Vans and they are holding up great. Very disappointed in the past couple pair of Sperry canvas shoes I have purchased. Not going there ever again.

I had to return these boat shoes. They fit well if I was standing still, but as soon as I started walking in them, they were flopping on and off my feet - I was afraid I would get blisters on the back of my heels. The problem is the short toe box, and the laces being so far down the shoe, there's no way to really secure them to your foot. Similar to other slip-ons, I would recommend getting a smaller size than usual.

Great shoe! Maybe a tad small in the toe
area. Will take a little to break in. Overall
I am pleased with the fit and comfort.

Love Zappos ...disappointed in these Sperry's. After loving my last two pairs of the identical Sperry sneakers, they changed the insole to have a very high arch support which feels like a negative heal counter. The inside of the shoe is scratchy and not comfortable...sadly returning.

These were cute and fun, but I they were uncomfortable. Too wide for my foot and too tight in length to wear with socks trying to fill,up the width.

This shoe was outright painful. It cut into the top of my foot with sharp stitching, and the footbed is almost crinkly in texture. Not the nicest to wear with no-show footies. Shame, they look quite nice. Returning.

It's a nice shoe I owned them for about 4 months when the soles along the side cracked then broke apart on both shoes. To be more specific when your toes bend as your walking the shoe its self flexes and the seam pulls apart from the material and cracks.

These look great and they are easy to clean. As other reviewers have pointed out, they are a little narrow. If you are on the cusp of your shoe-size (in my case, for example, 10 and a 1/2s are a bit too small, and 11s are a bit too big), and thus have wider feet, this might not be the shoe for you. Also, the canvas lining tears really easily around the soles. The first pair I had lasted me a month. Zappos customer service is awesome, though. They promptly sent me a new pair, which seem to be holding up better. Thanks Zappos!

Nice shoes, the color appears faded (on purpose) which I wasn't aware of before buying the shoes...kind of makes them look old and weathered, not necessarily a bad thing but they didn't look as "new" as I thought they would. Rubber siding of both shoes along the sides where the toes bend is already separating from the canvas material and I haven't even has the shoes two weeks! Poor quality! Cushioning in the shoe is literally a piece of rigid foam, not very supportive if you're on your feet a lot.

I love Sperry's and was very excited about buying these shoes. Only one problem, you can't wear them without socks for risk on having the worst smelling feet ever! Also I haven't found socks that run low to the heal so as to not look awkward wearing them. I literally can't wear them for more than an hour without all of a sudden smelling them. Its embarrassing to be around people when you can smell your own feet. I own other boat shoes and similar shoes to there and I don't have this problem.

They look casual, classical, and sophisticated for this 40 year old to wear, but the comfort is another story. Do not wear these if you are going for a long walk. The rigid, thick soles are not made for this. Lack of flex forces your foot to rub against the canvas like inner lining at the narrow toe box (with socks mind you). Perfectly suited for a backyard barbeque (no dancing) or an afternoon of lounging poolside/dockside. I'm a perpetual wearer of fitness, minimalist fitness shoes (Inov-8, New Balance minimus, etc) so I prefer the comfort over the style if walking or activity will be involved.

Looks great, but extremely uncomfortable without socks. The lining is rough and has left my foot with several blisters after 30 mins of walking.

I found these to be undersized and they fell apart on me very quickly, holes in the toe and sides, and the sole came unglued. While they look cool and are moderately comfortable they weren't worth the price for falling apart so quickly.

Such a great looking and well-made shoe, it's just not made quite right to fit an actual foot. Heel is too loose/wide/slippy; toe box too narrow. These were for my husband, who has the most average size 12 foot in the world, any and every thing fits him with little or no break-in time. This are a first real fail in the shoe fit dept! Again, too bad, as they are a great looking shoe.

These shoes look great, but they are extremely uncomfortable. They've torn up the back of my heel and the top of my foot. I thought they'd break-in after a few weeks, but that hasn't happened yet.

I had high hopes for this shoe, after going through my excellent Sperry Bahama original and other excellent Sperrys. The Original Bahamas were extremely comfortable, had high material quality, and were durable.
I was disappointed to find when I received my Bahama 2 that a lot had changed. The out-soul is no longer Sperry's trademark material and may be less durable. The in-soul is no longer bonded to the shoe and is now a cheap, single piece of rubber. Most importantly, the inner material touching your foot is uncomfortable! Every time I take a step I feel the seems chafing my toes. Sperry's should be able to be worn without socks and I find that I can't do that with these. I tried returning my first shipment hoping that I had received a defective pair, but my replacement only slightly improved the problem.
I've been wearing these for about a month and breaking them in hasn't helped yet. I'll update this review if the comfort improves.

AVOID. Objectively: Under the removable insole is a cardboard sub-sole. these things are supposed to get wet or last more than 2 months? Subjectively: the insole has way too much cushion for my taste and will make my IT band tighter than a snare drum. Not really a comfortable unless you want to be gellin like magellan. These are over-engineered garbage. AVOID!

For me, probably the worst Sherry shoe I've ever worn. Very uncomfortable even with a Dr Scholl insert.
They look good but that's where it ends. I probably shouldn't be to hard as I know you get what you pay for. Buy cheap get cheap. Since I've already worn these I'll be donating them next week.

These shoes are rubbish. Very uncomfortable in the toe and arch. I would advise buying a half size larger than normal (though I would also advise that you not buy this product at all). The material is very flimsy and ripped open after 2 months of moderate use. Had a different pair of Sperry's made out of suede that stood the test of time, and loved them, but this design is just awful.

These are the worst shoes ever! They completely wore out within a month. I will never buy Sperry shoes again. We should be given a full refund for the poor quality.

I bought these for my husband for XMas '12. He already had 2 pairs of Sperrys but they were showing their age. He wore these shoes for no more than 4 months before they started tearing. A tear started to form on fabric of the inside heel of the left shoe. This tear only increased in size over the months. Now in October they are completely unwearable as the tear has grown to 5 inches and they are no longer safe to wear. Half of the metal eyelets alongside both shoes have come detached as well. My husband wore these shoes daily to work (coincidentally he works for the company that owns Zappos) so it's not like he was running around in them. Very disappointed in these shoes. Zappos return policy won't let us get store credit for these because they are worn. If I would have bought them through Nordstrom's this wouldn't be a problem.
