As a recovering plantar fasciitis sufferer, I wanted an easy-to-slip-on, around-the-house shoe like flip flops (which fellow sufferers will know are bad news for heels), but much more supportive. These worked! They are fast to slip on, very supportive, and so comfortable! A bonus: they look so nice that I wear them to work and can walk very comfortably around campus without foot problems that night. When I first got them I was worried about the ridges along the outside edges of the shoe, which seemed like they might bother the bottom of my feet. But there was very little adjustment time, and the shoes feel like a second skin. If you have Naot shoes in other styles, these will have a similar fit and will serve you just as well. I'm noticing their recent shoes seem a little different in size. This was fine, but the tips of the shoes seemed just a little longer past my toes then my earlier shoes (of the same size) from Naot.

These are awesome sandals. Expensive but well worth it. At first they seem wide and stiff, but all day comfort is what they provide. I am a very, very picky shoe person. I need comfort, style, and above all, arch support. These sandals gave me all that and more. The footbed is amazing. I own quite a few Naot sandals but needed a more sporty, no-heel version and am glad I tried the flow. Thanks Zappos for the many many shoes you sent along, so I could choose the best.

Excellent, comfortable and durable sandal, with superior support and traction. They are easily adjustable, and are so comfortable from the onset. I bought my first pair in San Francisco and wore them up and down the hills. I wore them for two weeks on the Galapagos islands, clambering on rough lava rock, wading, walking great distances on sand or slippery mud, and they held up beautifully. Other shoes I wore on previous Galapagos excursions fared poorly, slipping repeatedly on mud so badly that I often fell to the ground (and was COVERED in mud!). These sandals met every challenge...and they still look good! I just bought two more pairs, and hope that they soon appear in another color. Impressive shoe-- no other shoe has caused me to write a review before, but these are exceptional.

These shoes are extremely comfortable, however I usually wear an 8-8 1/2, I had to exchange for a size 7. They run very large. Once I exchanged I am very happy with them, they can adjust to your feet which helps.

Except for the Velcro on the ankle strap, this is an excellent walking sandal with the trademark Naot footbed comfort, well padded straps, and excellent heel support. The Velcro on the ankle strap goes right to the edge of the strap, so no matter how carefully the straps are aligned, there is still an edge of Velcro that rubs at the ankle on extended walks. That said, I like everything else about this sandal so much that I apply band aids to my ankles where the Velcro rubs and then happily wear the sandals. But for the ankle strap Velcro I would have given this 5 stars.

Extremely comfortable from the get-go! I've been a Naot fan for the past 15 years as I had heel pain and this brand of shoes has cured me. (When I try other brands, the heel pain returns, so I've learned, I'm true to Naot shoes.) This particular sandal is very roomy, so if you're on the fence about size, order down.

This sandal had essentially no break-in period. It took one or two tries to figure out the optimal, personal ankle strap tension. The Velrco straps stay in place and their inner side is soft and comfortable. Because it provides excellent arch support, this sandal can be worn in place of sneakers for touring and moderately rough terrain. The ankle strap Velcro must be carefully aligned to avoid abrasion.I enthusiastically recommend this product!

Pure joy for you footsies. Take it from a person with very wide, flat feet, and bunions and other icky things: these sandals are a delight. The straps are lined with soft and cushy material. The footbed is soft and squishy. Wonderful and terrific shoes.

I bought these sandals from a shoe store 2 years ago. (Zappos didn't carry them back then.) They are the most comfortable sandals. The built-in arch is very supportive and they're cushioned inside to feel soft on your feet - even in hotter weather. I'm so happy that Zappos carries them now. Comfy from the first time you put them on.

I bought this show two years ago in Israel and it has been the very best walking sandal I've ever had. I just bought another pair. It's nice enough for travel and perfect for any kind of walking. It looks great on the foot and extremely comfortable. I usually wear an 8.5, but in this Naot I wear an 8.

This shoe would be perfect if the velcro on the top strap did not extend so far and it scratches the top of my foot near my ankle. I am trying to figure out a way to cover the extra velcro or have it removed. If they had done this, this would be a 5 star review!

The best looking sandal of this type. The army green is actually a pleasant, soft sage, and the adjustable straps keep a low profile. The straps have the softest, cushiest padding of any sandal around. The shape feels almost like an Earth shoes, which is great for relieving pressure except in one key spot: the back of the heel. I have to take points off for Naot following the trend to an overly built-up, annoying back-of-heel pad with silly loop. At least the cushioning keeps that pad from being irritating when I wear these with tights, but it also keeps the sandal from being perfect.

Color is not as shown--much greener. Truly an army green. I was expecting a brownish color based on the photo.

I have very flat feet and I developed plantar fasciitiis. Looking for a sandal for my upcoming trip to NY, I was excited to find these. Sadly, they have too much arch support that is painful for me. Otherwise the footbed feels great. The straps are covered with a very soft material on the inside but the toe front strap was rubbing when I walked. Sadly I had to return these.

My favorite sandals of all time. I got them in brown and in black. Something has to be very very good to get me to spend that much.

These are the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. I have had some foot problems (swelling, aching) and these are the only footwear that improve the discomfort. They haven't yet figured out how to keep pebbles and twigs from getting lodged under your foot, but that's the only improvement I can envision. The footbed molds to your feet as promised but they are comfortable from the first.

I bought these shoes to wear trekking around Egypt. They have a great deal of support for a sandal, but where they are built up at the side of the heel, I got a nasty blister the first day. After a couple of days off from the shoes to let my foot heal, I wore them every day and loved them! They are great for walking and the velcro straps allow for useful adjustments as feet swell in the heat. They are also much more attractive than most walking sandals. Just be sure to break them in before heavy duty walking.

Excellent walking sandals. Just read the other reviews and none of their complaints are a problem for me. Just wish summer would last longer here and I could wear them more months. Of course they will last many years at this rate!

If you're looking for a sandal to wear all day while you're on your feet running around, this is it. Supremely comfortable, excellent arch support. I had never heard of Naot before, and now that I've tried two of their shoes, I think I've found a new favorite to rival Ecco.

These are the best! I've had foot problems for years and I've had expensive orthotics made as well as special made-to-fit sandals. I'd rather wear my pair of Flow Naots. Supportive and comfortable--the best! I walk all over the place in these. This was my second pair, and I plan on picking up the third color soon. Also, I have a moderately narrow foot, and other sandals are too wide for me. These were perfect. Zappos service was excellent, too!

These shoes are a bit more chunky than I would have wanted, but they are very comfortable and fit to size very well.

I usually love Naot sandals. But these are too wide and too flat. There is really no support in these. I thought they would make a good hiking sandal like a Keen sandal with out the bulky toe, very disappointed. They are well made, just not the style for me.

They aren't the most beautiful shoes in the world but they are better than most of this type. I've worn my Naot "flow" shoes for 3 years now and they are still in perfect shape. I live in Mexico in a town where you walk and walk, and there are cobblestones, and they work better than anything else I've ever owned. Never a blister, these are completely comfortable right out of the box and support your feet really well. Because the strap across the toes is adjustable as well as across the arch, and the heel is padded, I will take the 2nd pair I've been saving and not wearing to Berlin next month where I'll be walking all day every day. Perfect also for travel on an airplane, if your feet swell as they sometimes do on long flights, you can adjust them everywhere. Just perfect. Naot, please don't discontinue these! I'd sure love a new black pair.

I really really wanted to be able to wear this shoe but the foot bed narrows too much for me in the toe area. Many many years ago, I found all Naot shoes to be much to narrow for my medium, bordering on wide, foot. If you have a medium width foot with much "toe spread" when you walk, this shoe may be too narrow for you. Otherwise, they are well made and very cute. I'm still giving 5 stars because they may fit you well even though they are not for me.

These shoes are amazing! I have a stubborn case of plantar fasciitis and I was able to wear these shoes all day right out of the box. On cooler days, I wear them with socks. The arch support and heel stability of this shoe is like heaven to my foot. I hope Naot will offer additional colors in this style. On a side note, I own several styles of Naot shoes. They are wonderful shoes for my poor, poor feet!
