I am a big fan of the Air Carma Open Toe Sling. I have it both in the black patent and the antique silver. The patent leather seems to wrinkle a bit but not enough to stop me from wearing them.

I have already written a review. However, again I would like to say that purchasing on Zappos was a great experience. I believe the man who helped me was Brett. He was efficent, kind,professional and extremely helpful. he I purchase anything in the future, I will check Zappos first. It made shopping a breeze.

I am a die hard Carma Air fan...have the OT mary jane in patent, as well as the regular OT and now the sling. This is a great classic-but-not-boring looking sling that can go with everything from crops to skirts to dresses. I have not walked in these yet, but as with the other carma OT patent shoes I wear, after a little initial break in, maybe even just around the house, I expect these to be as comfortable as can be. Thank you Zappos for carrying this brand and style!

Classic comfort - These shoes are surprisingly comfortable, thanks to the Nike technology. Finally, a shoe that is stylish and comfortable. I bought this in black and after receiving them, went right back and bought them in blush. I consider these investment purchases, since the style is classic and can dress up or down, depending on the outfit.

Great looking, comfortable shoe - I have 3 pairs of Cole Haan's "air" shoes. All of them are very good looking and very, very comfortable. The heel is higher than I usually wear, but it isn't a problem.

Very sexy shoes! I bought these shoes in seal (turquoise) and followed some of the other reviews' advice and ordered a half size up. Big mistake! They were too big, so I had to send them back. They were very cute though, and I loved the way they looked with my skinny jeans. As far as comfort, I don't really think a shoe with a heel this high can be truly comfortable, but these were well made and seemed better than most.

Order 1/2 Size Up For Best Results - I love the look of this shoe, and purchased it in two sizes. I ended up sticking with the 1/2 size larger because the smaller size pinched my toes. Already comfortable and looking forward to wearing them all night!

Really comfy & cute - I got them in tortoise and they are really cute. They are really very comfortable, a bit higher than I am used to but I had no blisters, no swelling, no pain, all night! They were really expensive but totally worth it. I did get them a 1/2 size larger than I normally get though. They tend to be quite narrow.

Gorgeous Slingbacks! I love the look of these slingbacks. They're quite comfortable for the heel height. The only drawback is the sizing, which is about 1/2 size smaller than listed. A terrific shoe!

GREAT! I ordered these shoes the end of June in the gold wash tumbled color. After wearing them for a couple of months, I decided it was time to rate them. Overall they are WONDERFUL. Gorgeous on the foot, can be worn with anything, and even with my short foot (4B), the height is very comfortable. The toe bed was slightly narrow and made the shoe uncomfortable for the first several wearings; however, they have now stretched out and have become VERY comfortable. (I wear them to work, so they get a full 8-hour workout on those days). I returned to the web site today hoping to purchase them in the vintage silver, but "SOLD OUT." I should have known. Grab a pair while you can!

I could run a marathon in these! These are the best shoes ever! The platform gives this shoe a modern edge, yet it is still sleek and sexy. And the OMG factor of course is the AirNike component. I swear, I could run a marathon in these!

A Carrie Bradshaw moment - I have never in my life been so excited by a shoe. In fact, I emailed my mother to tell here I was "in love" with a shoe. For many years, I have searched for comfortable high heels which will accommodate my wide feet. Yes, these shoes are expensive, but when I consider that I have spent thousands on painful shoes that I cannot wear, I think this shoe is a real bargain. I only wish I could find another pair or two in wide.

I really thought my days of wearing a sexy heel were over until I tried Cole Haan Carma. Finally someone realized we need a bit of support that cushions the ball of a boney foot. This shoe is great. I bought 2 in the sling and 2 in the peep toe with the closed back. Both are very comfortable. Also I appreciate the leather sole because my husband and I like to do a little ballroom dancing. It has been hard to find a shoe that didn't have a rubber sole. This shoe has both comfort and you can dance in it. I wish I could have every color and style. Keep them coming. Thanks.

Most comfortable heel I've tried! I have never been able to wear tall, thin heels before, and when I first tried a pair on in the Cole Haan store, I was expecting to fall over. The combo of the Nike Air and the little bit of platform in the front though makes these both surprisingly comfortable and easy to walk in, even for someone not used to heels. I ordered online because I found the patent leather too stiff, especially on the toe, but the weathered gold still available here is perfect, subtle and pretty. Usually a size 9; got a size 9.5 in this and the other Cole Haan shoe I have.

Beautiful shoe with a great heel height for both work and a night out. The sole is very comfortable and provides great support. The only downside is that the toes were a little tight for me. If I had gone up a 1/2 size maybe it would have solved the problem. It is the only thing that keeps me from being able to wear these shoes for a full day from day to night. From my experience Cole Haan's also wear well and are quite durable.

I have been watching this line of shoes since they were first released. I finally decided to purchase them and they are wonderful. You can feel the quality of the shoe when you hold it. I was, however, concerned about the sizing as many reviews mentioned difficulty. My findings for the patent size 6 were: the toe box is a bit tight. I am usually between a 5.5 & 6 but figured with the adjustable strap I could tighten the shoe if necessary. The 6 fit like a glove! Comfy as anything...except the toes! I have not bought a wide width in over 15 years but I wish they had one for this style. I am sad to say that I am returning them but I will definitely head to the outlet where I can try other styles that may be a better fit for my foot! Patent just won't stretch enough to make the difference. Long story short, if you're on the fence, go with the bigger size and if you're wide this is not the right shoe.

First off, these shoes come beautifully boxed, shoes in a separate cloth bag, packed with an extra pair of heel tips in case you wear yours out. That is wonderful. However, I would suggest ordering half a size up. It has taken two weeks for me to break them in. They are 100 percent leather so I knew there was plenty of room for give. And now I can experience the fabulous Nike sole which is a dream to walk in. Perhaps it is true that our feet keep growing, and maybe it is just me that does not like to give in to a size 10. But these are the first shoes that I have needed that big of a size for. So I am just saying. Otherwise, I love the shoes. Just be warned.

Good looking shoe, more comfortable than other Cole Haans that I have tried. With that said, I don't think that Cole Haans in general are comfortable at all despite the Air technology. Like other Cole Haans, they do not have arch support. The sling-back makes them a little more comfortable for me.

These shoes are stylish and are definitely good for work. I do suggest that if your feet are a bit wide, that you order the next size up.

Stylish and surprisingly comfortable peep-toe sling-back pump! Over the years, I've gravitated toward kitten heels for comfort, but I really wanted something a little sexier for an event. These fit the bill perfectly and are still professional enough to wear to work. They are a wee bit snug (in the patent leather which is less forgiving) and a wee bit high; but they were a great investment. Well made, casually elegant, classic shoe.

They look great, but . . . I should have taken warnings from other reviews more seriously. Numerous women mentioned that these shoes felt too narrow, and they were right. I'm a size 5 but ordered the 5.5, which fit perfectly length-wise. The Nike technology is superb, but when my toes are constantly scrunched inside the shoe, the great arch support hardly makes up for the discomfort elsewhere. I'm hoping that the leather stretches, since I've already worn them out and cannot return them. A beautiful shoe, but definitely for ladies with narrow feet. Also be sure to order half a size larger as other reviews have suggested.

Carma OT Air Sling in dark chocolate: Stylish and pretty, great dark color rather than a frumpy-looking brown, but extremely uncomfortable. Probably just the way my foot is shaped. I usually wear 7M, sometimes 7.5, and this 7 is perfect length but excruciating in the toe box, the 7.5 too big all over, but I have yet to find any pair of Cole Haan that lives up to the comfort they're supposed to be famous for. Might try breaking in the smaller size if they were half the cost, but at this price, too big of a risk for something that isn't dreamy right out the box. Haven't tried walking on a hard surface, so can't comment on padding comfort -- but they do look as if they'd be lovely if you can get a good fit in the toe.
