These are the perfect fall jeans. I did get these jeans two sizes smaller than I normally wear, and they fit great. The length and the fit are perfect for my body. If you ever owned a pair of NYDJ, these jeans will not disappoint!! I plan to get one more pair in a few months.

I love these jeans! I have them in blue too, and in more than one size. What more can I say? Except, they are worth every penny.

I love NYDJ jeans and Zappos is a great place to buy them. I wear the same size in all of their jeans so it's easy. These are a very dark denim which I think can be a little dressier. I just wish they would make them a little shorter.

These are great jeans for pear-shaped women with proportionally small waists compared to hips. They are great quality but the one thing I cannot figure out is why the black NYDJ jeans (this is my second pair) are always so much longer than the blue jeans. In the same order, I bought black and blue pairs and the black ones had to be shortened again. This is the first time I have ever had to shorten a pair of pants. Another unusual feature is that the pockets go deep horizontally, towards the crotch, not straight down. I would not want to put a lot in it, but I definitely feel confident that a lipstick or a little cash is going to stay in there securely.

Jeans with the comfort of sweats. Great for those with legs too long for regular length but not long enough for "talls". Slimmer cut in legs is flattering & so nice to have these features in a jean without resorting to the low rise styles!

Great fit and comfort. I have several pair and they are my 'go to' jeans. Dress them up or down; the dark wash looks nice with kitten heels.

I find these jeans very comfortable. They don't stretch out as much as other "stretch" jeans, although they do allow for some give. They are slightly long on me (I'm 5'8"), but they are cute with heels or rolled up with flats. The dark blue color is flattering and versatile. I also bought the pencil skirt -- they have both become wardrobe staples in the short time I've owned them.

I got the straight leg jeans the other day and I agree with the majority of posters -- these jeans look and feel great. I am between sizes so I ordered the smaller size and they fit perfectly. No bulges, pulling at the crotch, and so far no stretching of the material. I have only worn them once and not yet washed them so I am a bit concerned that the material may stretch over time based on some of the other reviews. If so, I will just buy another pair in a smaller size. I believe it's well worth spending more on a good-fitting pair of jeans than throwing away money on a closet full of jeans that don't quite fit the way I'd like. Will definitely purchase more. I'd also like to put in a word for Zappos for their prompt service!

I LOVE these jeans! In my forever quest to find the "perfect" jeans, I have probably bought a hundred pairs, and these are the ones! They fit my curvy (but not fat) behind, do not pull or show "saddle bags" at the thighs, they are higher at the waist than those jeans with the 1/4" zippers, without being "mom" jeans high, they don’t gap at the waist, they stretch when I move without binding, but without looking like stretch “mom” jeans, they do not pull down for that horrible "plumbers crack" look when I bend over, they are a great color, and look fantastic with heels in the evening! They wash well, feel snug out of the dryer and stretch right back out quickly. Wash them alone in cold the first time, they bleed a little! I did need to hem them even to wear with heels, I am 5’5”, they were WAY too long, so that adds to the cost, but well worth it. I have noticed: My husband of 27 years puts his hand on my "behind" and pats it a lot when I am wearing these jeans!

I love these jeans! They are soooo comfy! The legs are what I would call straight (not too tight). I ordered a size smaller than I usually wear and they fit perfectly and lift & tuck. Zappos is great about seeing that they are delivered the day after they are ordered.

I love that you can go down a size with this brand! Unfortunately the color did not work out for me but a great pair of jeans. Keep up the good work Zappos.

Not Your Daughters Jeans are the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn. I bought the slim leg to wear tucked into boots. They are okay, but could be a little more narrow at the bottom to be perfect. Zappos offered them at a great price and the service is the best. I love Zappos!

I love these jeans! They manage to come up high enough to avoid a gap between jeans and shirt (even when sitting on the ground) without looking matronly.

I don't usually write reviews nor do I pay this much for a pair of jeans, but these britches are incredible, and worth the price! The pockets are such that they don't bulk out on your hips or rear end. The jeans do indeed slim you and mask any muffin top. These are truly the most comfortable jeans I have ever owned. People have even complimented me on these, a pair of old jeans, I couldn't believe it! I now own several pair of NYDJ jeans and cords. Although I am a size 8, I have bought both 8s and size 6s, and I can go either way because of the stretch. And if you have long legs like I do, then you'll also find the inseam to suit you just fine.

LOVE, LOVE!! I love this jean. This is my 5th pair of this brand. This has the slimmer leg, but still comfortable. Very slimming. Be sure and go down a size, for the tummy control. They give some during the day,

Buying Jeans for wife - We are 50+. It is dangerous to try to by clothes for your wife, much less jeans. I took a chance and she loved them. Bought a size smaller than she usually wears. Great fit and flattering to the mature woman.

Best Jeans I have ever had - I love them; however, I actually had to go down two sizes from what I regularly wear because they have a lot of give and do not shrink when you wash them. They did shrink a little in length but they are well worth having altered, I'm sure they will forever be my favorites.

Ideal Jeans! I purchased a pair of NYDJ jeans at a department store but was not completely happy with the fullness of the leg and found that the jeans seemed to stretch in the waist and hip area. I ordered a size smaller in the straight leg from Zappos. Perfect! They are not too tight or too loose. Comfortable to sit in and wear all day and they look great. I need to lose ten pounds but these jeans don't advertise that fact.

The picture provided doesn’t do this bag justice. The leather is gorgeous. The stitching, trim, and hardware topnotch! I gave an overall 4 star rating since it’s on the heavy side, but otherwise stylish and nicely organized.

I love these jeans - These are the most comfortable jeans ever. I'm 5'3" and a bit overweight, and I got the regular black slim leg. VERY comfy, but they are WAY too long for me and slightly big in my normal size. So, I just ordered the petite (29") in a size smaller. Never in a million years did I think I would ever buy a pair of jeans that cost this much, let alone 2, but I'm glad I did.

These jeans are truly a great find for me: the rise is long enough, the legs are just the right length, the stretch and control is comfortable and the overall look is perfect for every day. I bought 2 more pair after receiving this pair.
