Exactly as I expected - This shoe runs quite small - I normally wear 7 1/2 or 8 - but bought it in a 9 thanks to the reviews here. The size 9 was perfect. Well made, Capezio quality, good shoe.

I wanted to share my experience ordering dance sneakers; I first purchased the Bloch Boost DRT Mesh sneaker in one full size larger than my regular size (size 7.5) as recommended, but my toes were absolutely squished. So I sent them back and ordered a larger pair, size 9, but my feet were swimming in them, although the toes felt good. So I decided to go w/ the Capezio Groove. I ordered one size larger, 8.5, and they fit like a glove! They hug my foot (which is slightly on the narrow side) w/ more arch support than the previous shoe and with plenty of room in the toes. I love them! Zappos was absolutely fantastic dealing with my 2 returns and 3 orders! But it was worth it; the shoes feel GREAT! So if you are looking for more room in the toes, I'd go with this sneaker.

My favorite dance sneakers! Sizing depends on what you do - As a dancer, I love these sneakers! I tried on some other sneakers by Capezio but really loved these and found the best price by ordering through Zappos. I have the black pair, and I think they give a cleaner and more flattering look to your feet than the bi-colored sky or pink sneakers (tried those on too), which break up the line of your foot. As for sizing, I have these in my street shoe size and they fit close to my feet like gloves. If I wanted these to be regular or workout shoes, I'd definitely go larger by a half or full size. But as a dancer, they need to be snug so that your toe point looks right and so that your feet don't slide into the toe box when going on point/balancing on the tips. These sneakers have stretched a little for me where they're especially snug, buyers can keep that in mind too. I'm so happy with my purchase, and also with Zappos!

Adorable shoe - heel too fat - This shoe (in sky blue) was the talk of my jazz dance class. Everyone wanted to order a pair. It fit my narrow foot nicely (although I ordered 1.5 sizes larger than my street shoe). My only complaint about this shoe is that there is something uncomfortable about the way the tongue hits the top of my foot (at the ankle). Also, although the blue is adorable, the pink color is very bright (almost pepto-bismol pink) and has greenish-grey mesh. In the browser the shoe appears to be a pretty pale pink with white... not so in real life.

Great Dance Sneakers - I have a hard time finding dance shoes to fit my narrow feet so I ordered Capezio Groove's as well as a pair of the Capezio Tekno-Lo's as this was my first pair of dance sneakers. The Teckno-Lo's were very wide (I returned those) but the Groove's were a perfect width with a light pair of socks. I took the recommendations from the other reviewers and ordered a full size up from my regular shoe size and they worked perfectly. I danced at an outside event on concrete a couple of days after I received them and they performed well and were very comfortable. Zappos is awesome...very efficient with quick delivery and returns processing and excellent customer service.

Great shoes for curves - This shoe is great for a curves workout. It is definitely different looking but the greatest shoe comfort-wise. It has excellent arch support and is perfect for an aerobic workout. I ordered a full size larger and am very happy with the fit.

Dance, Dance, Dance - Love the comfort of this sneaker. Bought them for a dance 'n Funk class so I would not stick to the floor, really work well. I wanted the pink, but they only had blue in my size. (Please make sure you order 1.5 or 2 sizes larger than you wear). I have flat feet, so the arch takes a bit to get used to. However, I can now dance, dance, dance!

Capezio Groove Dancesneaker - I love these shoos. I bought them for a dance class. I haven't danced in years and they help with my aches and pains. Definitely get a full size larger than your normal shoe. I normally wear a narrow and was worried about the medium width but they are fine with a pair of no shoe socks.

GREAT SHOES - These shoes are great for my dance aerobics - very comfortable and lightweight. I ordered a full size larger than my regular shoe size and they are perfect.

Awesome dance sneaker! Found these to be true to size. I bought the pink sneaker and the color is great. As a dance teacher I find the support to be exactly what I need while being stylish at the same time. It's a Capezio product so you can expect the best quality in a dance shoe.

Capezio Groove Dancesneaker - I ordered the Capezio Groove based on the reviews I read, but cannot agree after trying them for a week. There was minimal arch support, but I just slipped in an OTC insert. I could have lived with that, but it just didn't have the thick "cush" in the sole for the dancing impact of Jazzercise class. I wanted to love it, but didn't (wish my hubby hadn't tossed the box!). Might be good for walking. Size-wise, you will want a 1/2 or full size larger than your normal athletic shoe.

Great sneaker! I love these sneakers. They look cute and are very comfy. These were my first dance shoe purchase and I am super happy with them. I purchased them in Sky and they were a perfect color choice. I normally wear a size 8 or 8.5 and I bought a 9 on the recommendation of other reviewers and they fit great!

Capezio's Groove Dancesneaker - This is a really comfortable shoe. I wear them to do dance exercise videos at home. The bottom "cut out" allows the shoe to bend in the middle so as not to feel as clunky as some supportive walking shoes do. I have them in pink which always gives me a smile. Other reviews helped me decide to order a full size larger. That's a good fit. Very pleased!

Great and groovy dance sneaker - I bought these shoes for a Cardio Salsa class and they're perfect. They're comfortable and flexible while offering great arch support. Since my foot is quite narrow, I have a hard time getting a shoe that doesn't fall off when I walk. It was pleasant to find that the shoe hugs my foot so that I can do all the moves with ease.

A jazz sneaker with great support and comfort - I ordered this shoe because I wanted to try something different than the Bloch shoes I had been wearing for years. The Capezio's looked as if they might have better support, and that has turned out to be the case. They feel great on and allow me to move on several different types of dance floors (sticky, smooth, very smooth) with ease. One thing to note, they do run much smaller than street shoe sizes. I wear an 11.5 in this shoe and street shoe size is a 10. Overall I'm very pleased with the performance, fit, and comfort.

Normally wearing a size 4 shoe, it is difficult to buy aerobic shoes which fit properly. I bought these shoes specifically to wear for Jazzercise. They work well for aerobics and I am pleased. These shoes are clearly ONE full size smaller than marked. I read the reviews written here and ordered a 4 1/2 shoe thinking this would work. I had to return the 4 1/2 for a size 5. Order one full size larger than your normal shoe size.

My feet don't hurt anymore - I love these shoes. I'm always on my feet running shows and my feet were always killing me. I couldn't flex my feet the way I wanted to in regular sneakers and the arch support was not enough. Now with these shoes I can be on my feet for twelve hours and not have my feet aching. I don't know why I didn't think about dance sneakers years ago. I am one very happy former dancer.

Great Zumba Shoe! DEFINITELY go for 1 size larger than usual size - thanks ZAPPO for the suggestion. My friend's daughters wear them for Irish Dance Classes. My sister has been wearing hers for a couple of years for her dance classes & just hanging out. I love them. ZAPPO prices were the best.

The dance shoe! I usually wear an 8 1/2 but bought a half size larger based on the reviews. It is perfect. It looks smart and is very comfortable. The best dance shoe EVER! These shoes are TOTALLY SWEET! Not only do they provide support, flexibility, and cushioning, but Capezio's Groove Dance sneaker looks super cool. I wore them for the 1st time to a 3-hour rehearsal and they broke in immediately (no blisters or discomfort). Enough traction for locking moves & also excellent for slides and turns. I dance hip-hop and Latin and this is definitely the best purchase I've made. Yes, do order a full size up from your regular street size if you want to wear cotton sport socks (I wear a 5.5 and the 6.5 fits PERFECTLY). Also, I cannot give enough props to ZAPPOS. I ordered these shoes on Sunday and received them on Wednesday. Incredible! ZAPPOS ROCKS!

Capezio "Get Your Groove On" Dancesneaker - Glad I read the other reviews and ordered 1/2 size larger then normal. Fits very snug with thin or no socks. Very flexible, yet supportive for Urban Jazz and Kukuwa.

Feel Great. I use these shoes for dance/aerobic class. They feel great. They offer support and are flexible and it's easier to do the routines. They also look great.

Get your "Grooves" on - I got my shoes because I clog and we go to workshops where I'm dancing for 7 to 10 hours in the day.These shoes feel great!! My feet feel great on hour 10 too! I got a 1/2 size larger than my shoe size.... now I wish I had gotten a full size larger. Other than that I absolutely love my shoes.
