Fantastic comfort! I needed some work boots with a defined heel that were light enough that they could cross over as hiking boots. These boots are fantastic. They felt comfortable from the moment I put them on - no breaking in period. Toe box is roomy without being sloppy. I highly recommend them.

Love them, comfortable, not too heavy, high enough to keep snow out in the winter -- seem a slightly bit large -- but works well with heavy socks. Soft toe is really hard.

These seemed comfortable right away. I ordered the wide size, which is definitely wide (thus, the true to width rating) and leaves plenty of room for my bunions and wide feet. I also ordered my true size, unlike Keen's and Merrell's, which I have to wear at least a half size larger. I wore them on a hike over rough terrain, and they didn't slip on the rocks and mud, even though they are work boots. However, the part of the tongue that connects to the shoe was somewhat irritating. I'm hoping that this issue resolves itself with wear.

What great boots. They are comfortable from the minute you put them and continue to be so until you take them off hours later. They make your feet smile. They are so comfortable that I could even sleep in them. I am on my feet for 12 hour shifts and until I bought these boots my feet would ache. A friend told me about these boots with the soft insole. They provide wonderful comfort and great ankle support. They are light weight and look good, too. I just bought another pair in a different color.

I've just worn these out for the first time for a week of backpacking and they felt great! My only complaint is that they are not constructed so that the soles can be replaced when they wear out.

Great pair of boots. Wore my original Timberland's for almost 20 years 'til they gave up the ghost. Finally replaced them and these are the bomb!

I'm enjoying my new boots. Manufactures need to make more work boots like these. They are so comfortable. The only issue I have is they aren't waterproof. But I went out and had the waterproofed. I wear them everyday at work.

I ordered this shoe Monday and received it Tuesday Morning! I wore them for the first time this Wednesday for over 8 hours in the burning heat at a concrete pour. They were very comfortable and required no break in period. It's still quite early but I don't feel like they need an insole for extra comfort. Also, I got concrete and over stuff all over my new boots. No problem! I rinsed them off with water and they were back to new! So far durable, all day comfort and support, stylish. I can't wait to test them out in rainy weather.

These boots are fantastic! They look good and better yet they feel good. The boots are comfortable and offer good support without being rigid. I bought these boots for yard work, and the soles are slip resistant. I usually have problems with shoes fitting my feet but I took a chance and am glad I did. I heartily recommend them.

These are the most comfortable boots that I have ever put on my feet! After about 2 weeks, they stretched a little. I added Superfeet insoles and they are great again. I have a reconstructed foot, and the support is the best ever.

This boot is the best boot I\'ve ever owned! It has gotten me through two Wyoming harsh winters. It has kept my feet comfortable, dry and still looks good. Great for walking through fields of snow, ice, mud, slush and offers great protection against snakes! Highly recommend.

I ordered these boots after reading the other reviews and I am so glad I did! The boots are so comfortable - the first time I wore them doing yardwork, I actually forgot I had them on. There was absolutely no break-in period - they felt great right out of the box. Not too snug, not too tight, yet plenty of room for wearing thicker socks. I would definitely recommend these boots.

WINTER BOOTS - I got these for the cold snowy days and they keep my feet warm and comfy. I got a little larger size so I'd have room for thicker socks if I needed them.

Most comfortable work boots ever! I have ordered 3 pairs of these workboots in the past 3 years. They are very comfortable the first time you put them on. There is no break in period necessary. I work for a telephone company outside and I climb poles sometimes. The shank in these boots is strong enough to handle climbers and yet I can work 14 hours and my feet never hurt. I will wear these until I retire!!

Great work and hiking shoes! I don't have deep pockets and gulped when I paid the price for these, but I've learned that quality pays for itself in the long run. I wanted a hard toe but not a steel toe, and these fit the bill -- no worries if a horse steps on your toes or you drop a log, but not inflexible like steel. The tread is nice and grippy for climbing stuff, and even does well on wet, slick surfaces like my neighbor's sealed smooth pavement. I got my usual shoe size (6.5) and I'm not sure that they feel larger as much as they just feel roomy inside, like you'll have no trouble fitting in thick winter socks. At first I felt like the shoe was rubbing on one ankle a bit, so I wore a big bandaid on my ankle for a couple days and that did the trick. Otherwise there's no break-in time, they're ready to go on a long hike right away. If you tend to tie your shoes kind of loose, then the laces are a little too short to tie well. But new laces are pretty cheap if that bothers you. I was a little concerned by a few reviews that commented on the shoes not being waterproof--I thought maybe they took in moisture fast -- but they're fine walking through wet grass for a while and even stepping through the occasional puddle, just don't walk through a stream and expect to come out with dry feet. The shoes are quite light so you'll be more athletic and walking long distances isn't as cumbersome. The sole is very comfortable. And if you're a girl like me, you know how hard it is to find a solid, functional leather work shoe that doesn't look like something Frankenstein would wear. So as an added bonus, these shoes are kinda cute. Not feminine per se (they're great for guys too), but not clunky or "made for big feet." These shoes look as good on petite gals as on big guys. So with the winning combination of solid functionality, comfort and good looks -- these shoes meet with my full approval!

I got these for my wife for work shoes at UPS. She absolutely loves them. They are rugged but supple leather. They are not too heavy and have good non-slip soles.

I love these boots! I am difficult to fit with high instep and wide foot and fully expected to be disappointed with "mail order" shoes again, but these are WONDERFUL. I took a 45-minute hike the first day I put them on, and I've never had one issue with comfort or durability. They are sturdy but soft and comfy too.

Very comfortable. They have a clean look, not the smallest lady-like looking boots, but better than many I tried. Sturdy and well made.

These shoes have been pretty comfortable so far. Since it's not winter yet, I haven't had a chance to really test them out, but I have size 9.5 feet and they fit really well, there was almost no breaking in necessary. Just make sure you wear high socks.

I was looking for some boots to protect my feet while doing some outside work. These boots are fantastic and were comfortable from day one. I highly recommend them.

Love these! I have now been wearing these for just a couple of weeks and I can't believe how great they are. I wear these 14 hours a day, 7 days a week and my feet feel great. The arch support is wonderful and they also look great. The size is about 1/2 larger than a regular shoe size. I usually wear a 7 in a boot, but took a 6 1/2 and have plenty of room.
