Contemporary Victorian Styling Meets Function - I'm very pleased with this boot. The subtle contemporary Victorian styling and cuff add interest, yet the boot is still versatile. Rochelle also strikes the balance between fashion and function with its soft leather, lower heal, padded footbed, and substantial tread for icy winter sidewalks. Without a doubt, Rochelle has become one of my winter wardrobe staples. The only thing I wasn't sure about when I received the boot was the rather loose fit around the ankles--I would've liked more ankle support. This wasn't a deal breaker, however, as I still felt sturdy walking in the boot. Thanks Zappos for your outstanding customer service!

Great looking boot - I own many pairs of Sofft shoes and clogs and have for several years. This is my first pair of boots AND the first time I have had a problem with the size. I purchased the same size I would on the shoes but when I received them I thought they felt a little big but since it was the middle of the day I decided to keep them figuring it was my foot that was probably a little off (as this was my normal size Sofft). The morning I went to wear them the first time I realized they were way big so I wore a heavy pair of socks. I was on my feet all day, which I always am with all my Sofft shoes (heels included) but by mid afternoon my feet ached so much I could not wait to get them off. I will wear them again but I will try to wear them in shorter intervals until I either break them in or find the right thickness of socks. This is my only complaint with Sofft. The clogs have always fit me well in my usual sizing and have been comfortable since day 1. The shoes were a little harder to figure the size as they seemed to run smaller. I finally found a size that worker for me in the shoes and now the boots are running bigger than my regular. My feet felt like they were swimming in them. I love buying through Zappos but this is a shoe I wish I could try on before purchasing due to the sizing issue. Otherwise Sofft shoes are beautiful and I love the rubber soles. I esp. love the clogs.

Too loose - Very cute, practical shoe that doesn't make the annoying clacking sound when you walk. However, it is quite loose on my foot but is the right length, so sizing down will probably not help. I can tell it would be comfortable otherwise. Why are all comfort shoes so loose?

Super comfortable - These boots are insanely comfortable for a heel, and are pretty cute in person. I can wear them all day (16 hours) without a problem. Highly recommended!

Nice Boot - I'm not used to wearing high heels so this pair of boots was a little high for me. I wore them for 10 hours the first day without any problems. I purchased the wide width and need to wear socks for proper fit.

Comfy, yes. Cute, ehh... They were super comfy (a little roomier than expected), but just not that cute. I was expecting something victorian/vintage/ladylike, but they were just kind of boring. I guess if I'm wearing a heel I want it to look more stylish than this, otherwise I might as well wear the big khombus. These I would recommend to mom or grandma. On them, they would be very stylish.

A little too old fashioned looking for my taste. Not as stylish as I had hoped. Overall, pretty comfortable for a 3 inch heel.

Not for narrow heels - These are the absolute most comfortable boots that I have every had on my feet. The leather is very soft and good quality. I really want to keep them, but the heel slips when I walk and I have to send them back.

Comfortable and cute - This boot does look a bit Victorian in its style. It also has a shiny rubber edge around its sole that takes away from its beauty. It is very, very well made, lined in butter soft leather and very soft and comfortable. My size 8 slipped a bit around my heel, though I don't believe it was a half size larger, just maybe wide across the heel.

Love the look and would be extremely comfortable, but...the width at the top is way too bulky...even with wearing really thick socks you could turn your ankle really easily. It is a shame because I really wanted to keep these beautiful shoes.

Sofft Rochelle boot - This boot runs smaller than marked. The toe area is narrow, but the heel and ankle were so loose that the boot slipped up and down on my foot - no way that I could wear these. The leather is okay, I expected them to be much softer and "lightly padded footbed" is non-existent. The heel is also higher than expected. All-in-all, not a great boot. Back they go...

Ok, but not quite what I expected - Good looking shoe generally, but I could not wear at work through the day. Great for weekend when not on my feet all day.

Sofft Rochelle - so pretty - Wide is too wide, regular might have been fine but toe was too pointy to try it. Love Sofft's padding, but my big toe arthritis doesn't love the toe shape. Too bad; they're really pretty.

Can't believe a shoe this price can look so cheap! Online this looked like a cute boot, but when I opened the box I was unpleasantly surprised! The leather looks fake and the shoe really cheap. Quite a disappointment. Zappos service is great, though!
