Great looking shoe but not comfortable like most Danskos - I have several pairs of Danskos (all more clog style). I have a very high arch and Danskos usually provide good support; however, this shoe did not have as much support as others and my foot slid forward hurting my toes. I have a narrow foot so maybe a more medium width foot would not have the same issue. They do look good but sadly, I had to return them

Cuter than I expected - I think these shoes actually look cuter in person than they do in the picture. They also make your foot look smaller, always a plus! I have a wide foot, and the regular width fit me. But I think the shoes run a little small. I usually wear an 8.5, but in these I'm going to go back and order the 9. I haven't worn them yet, but they seem really comfortable.

I wish they came in wide!!! This is an adorable little shoe, and I was excited when I opened the box. My mom had a pair of Danskos and raves about them, so I had to get a pair. Unfortunately my feet are of the wide variety and the high arch. So, the straight line near the toe cut into the top of my foot and my toes felt a little squished in the front of the shoe. However, if they had a wide this may have been the perfect shoe for me. Its adorable and looks like it would be great for those with more standard feet than I have, since it was just a tiny bit too tight and cut just a tiny bit into my foot when I tried them on at home.

Stylish and Comfortable - These shoes are really pretty and so comfortable. Other people have told me that Dansko made a great clog, but they were never right for me... however I recently ordered the Dansko Tara and I'm hooked. They seem just a tiny bit big to be worn with nylons, so I just got some inexpensive inserts and now they fit perfectly! I definitely recommend this shoe for comfort at work and style into the evening.

Pretty Shoes! I should ordered a 6 1/2 wide instead of a standard 7 shoe. It's comfortable for walking around and trying it on but for an evening out, I needed a wider shoe. It's didn't have enough room for my baby toe. I do love the looks of the shoe.

Gorgeous shoe, but your feet will suffer! These shoes are sophisticated and beautiful, and look really great with jeans or skirts. However, I find that my foot always slides forward while I walk, making the shoe uncomfortable to move around it, even though it fits perfectly. I have now bought some heel grips in the hopes that these will make a difference. I adore Dansko shoes, but these are not up to their usual standard comfort-wise. Good for wearing if you don't have to do much walking!

Super comfortable - These are super comfortable. Only complaint is that they squeak when walking. It seems to be a common problem amongst the Dansko shoes I have. I believe it comes from the material inside. All noises aside, these are really comfortable and I feel confident in not tripping while carrying my baby.

I love the way this shoe looks. It is taller and clunkier than I expected from the picture. It's pretty comfortable, but I get blisters if I wear it without socks or hose. Eventually my feet hurt if I stand/walk a lot, but that is always the case for me in heels. I wear a 10 in regular shoes . . . I ordered a size 41 (the listed equivalent of a size 11) and ended up exchanging for a size 42 (the listed equivalent of a size 12.)

Four star cuties!!! I have at least a dozen pair of Danskos. I have stopped buying them lately as I do not find them the very best value for the money. This pair lured me back. They are cute and slightly funky looking, comfortable enough for every day, and not too expensive. The arch is slightly off for my feet. Overall I'd recommend them and I'd even buy another pair if they came in some more fun colors.

Beautiful, sexy shoe! Now I just need to get used to wearing heels again!

Watch sizing - The sizing for this shoe was WAY off! I normally wear a 37 & finally found a 35 that fit - albeit a little loosely.

This shoe does not look too frumpy, despite its "heavy" look. In fact, they quite flatter my feet, making my legs look longer. The shoe is also quite light. I ordered my usual size 7.5 and found them to be half a size too large. The shoe seems to have good arch support and it has ample toe room. Unfortunately, I found that the heel cup came up too high on my ankle and thus starts to eat into the side of my ankles - I'm sure I will get blisters from that (that's why I gave it 3 stars only). Still, I am going to try the half size smaller to see if they will fit better.

Good for walking - Looks good for the practicality of the shoe. Easy to walk a lot in, but would have loved a little more cushion on the ball of the foot. Looks great with pants.

Tara - Cute, comfortable. Actually cuter in person than in photo. Good arch support but foot slips off of it towards toe secondary to gravity and slippery insole.

Cute, comfy pump. It's a tad tall for me, but I knew Dansko would make a comfortable pump. (There's practically no other shoe I could wear with a 3" heel, but these I wore to work!) I wish Dansko would make something like this with a 2" heel... Fits more like a traditional shoe than the clogs.

Sad to say, I had to ship back - Oh how I loved this shoe- the chocolate brown suede was beautiful. The square toe, chunky heel and cute buckle strap had all the stylish features I was looking for. I heard Danskos were very comfortable, so I ordered a pair. My feet are just a little under a half size different in size, and while my small foot felt great in this shoe, the big toe on my larger foot was forced down into the front of the shoe and was really uncomfortable. At this price, I couldn't really afford to buy two pairs in the right size for each foot! I'm jealous of all you out there that can wear this shoe.

Marla - I love the style and the quality, and Zappos quick service and simple/quick exchange policy. The Tuttie style is much more comfortable than the Tara. I have one foot that is just barely an 11 and the other foot a 10.5. I ordered a 41 and they felt a half size too small on my 11 foot. I think I prefer the suede to the nappa leather. I was told I have an extra bone in my little toe, that is why I have calluses on them. Dress shoes hurt my baby toes and the balls of my feet, the Tara hurt almost like all other shoes. I would consider trying them one size bigger in a suede though, because they are such a stylish shoe. I would add a little cushion piece for the ball of my right foot though. With the Tuttie my toes and the balls of my feet felt like I had slippers on. The Tara in Nappa leather may not have enough give for my picky feet, but the Tuttie in a mix of nappa and suede does.

Not so cute and not as comfy as other Dansko's. I'm a big Dansko fan, but was a bit disappointed in this one. Matronly comes to mind, and it just wasn't as comfy as my other Dansko's.

I loved these shoes visually, but when I tried them on, the arch was not at all like normal Danskos (and I have four pairs, so I am familiar with them). They felt like there was a weird lump, like a giant dried lima bean or something in there, so I had to return them. They were gorgeous, though, a beautiful rich brown. I recommend the Beth style if you’re looking for a good heel by Dansko.

These shoes are GORGEOUS, but . . . I'm so sad because these shoes look AMAZING, but I encountered the same problems as some other reviewers as far as the toes slipping forward to the front of the shoe, thereby "smooshing" them. Unfortunately, No Slip inserts didn't help. It's a true shame bc I've never been more in love w/ a shoe! But please note that I also have a low arch & flat feet - although the width & arch support felt great, so I'm not too certain that contributed to the problem. I have a feeling if the heel were a bit shorter & the toe box a bit roomier these would be perfect. But unfortunately that's not the case, so. . . back I send them w/ a very heavy heart! Zappos customer service, as always, was beyond spectacular. I already had to send them back once to size down & not only did they NOT charge my card again as some companies will do, but I got my replacement size the very next day before they even received my return! Good luck finding another company that'll go THAT extra mile! :)

Cute, but uncomfortable - I really wanted to like this shoe, but it just is not for me. I suffered the same problem of my foot sliding forward and crowding my toes, which got to be painful in less than an hour of testing the fit out at home. Because of this, my weight was concentrated on the ball of my foot, adding to the pain and discomfort. I also have a low arch and flat foot, and the strap just could not be adjusted enough to keep my heel from slipping out of the shoe (and I had the proper size). Zappos.com's customer service is awesome. They expedited my shipping at no cost to me, which I really appreciated. Even though I will be returning this shoe, I will be buying from Zappos again because of their excellent service!

I WANT to like these, but... I have two other pairs of Dansko shoes which I have absolutely loved - a loafer and a sandal. Both of those pairs were so comfortable, I literally wore them until falling apart. So with this pair I was hoping to have shoes that would be just as comfy, but would look sharper for work. Very sadly, these shoes are not that pair. They felt reasonably comfortable when I wore them around the house before trying them outside, but sadly, a full day at work left me in true pain. The heel is fairly substantial and the shoe is angled in such a way that my foot slides all the way down and smooshes uncomfortably into the toe of the shoe. Walking around on carpeted office floors is annoying, but okay… but when walking outside striding around on uneven sidewalks and going up and down city hills, the foot ends up smooshing down further and further into the toe and feels pretty awful after a few blocks. I also wondered if the problem might be that I'm a half-size (7-1/2), so the European size 38 might be slightly too big. I got some inserts in the hopes that the inserts would take up the extra space. However, with inserts, the foot-smooshing problem was just as bad in fact… if not worse because the smooshing was even more painful because the squeeze at the toe was that much tighter. I do like the look of these shoes and they work well with work trousers and skirts. I guess I will keep trying to wear them, but after the first several attempts, I am not optimistic that these shoes are ever going to be the favorites that I hoped they would be (especially for the price!). I really feel like it is the design of the shoe and particularly the angle of the shoe that causes the discomfort.

So sad! Some back-story: I am a HEEL WEARER. A few months back I really messed up my feet out dancing and I made a vow: I wasn't going to wear any more shoes that hurt. Never again! So I bought these because I wanted a Mary Jane that was cute and comfy... but the leather seems a little stiff, and it's nearly impossible to tighten the strap, so my long, thin feet slip forward and bunched up in the end. And woe betide you if you have hammer toes, because there is no room in the front of this shoe for your feet to slide forward. I can tell these would mess up my feet, even though they probably wouldn't have felt like heels at all while they did that. Credit where credit is due: they didn't feel like heels at all (except for the toe bunching thing).
